New Capital Seafood Restaurant
1330 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
Updated October 2020Updated for covid: they're currently open for takeout. You can call ahead or go inside to place your order on one of the paper sheets. Credit cards are accepted, and parking is easily available in the strip mall's parking lot. Service is quick, if a bit curt, and they take the coronavirus safety precautions very seriously. They'll call out the last four digits of your phone number over the intercom. There were still a lot of people ordering takeout, so either go earlier or call ahead to reduce your waiting time. The food is delicious. There's currently a limited menu, and all dishes are $3.69 plus tax. Get 2-3 dishes per person and you'll be solid. The custard bun, siu mai, and xian su guk are my favorite dishes. The beef rice noodle and the sesame ball are also very tasty.Overall, a tasty option whenever you have a dim sum craving.First reviewBusy, authentic dim sum restaurant with carts being pushed around with primarily seafood offerings. My family and I have been going to this particular restaurant for years. On the weekends there's always a long wait - get a number from the lady at the stand and they'll call it out over the intercom in both English and Chinese. We waited forty minutes on a Sunday at 1pm. You can hang outside or grab boba downstairs at the Ten Ren. It's not in chronological order but be aware that if you have a party bigger than four, then you might be waiting for a while. I'd suggest coming first thing when they open to avoid the long wait. They seat you quickly and you essentially flag the waitresses down with the carts and pick out what you want. They speak limited English but you can just point. They'll stamp your card so they keep track of how much food you order. The food is delicious, as I mentioned earlier, the family and I have been coming here for several years. Highly recommend getting the siu mai and the pineapple bun for dessert. Other favorites include the milky bun, sesame ball, and shrimp wonton. Ask for the spicy sauce - it's so yummy. There is a tea and table fee for about $1.60 per person. When you're ready to pay then flag anyone without a cart down and give them your stamp card.Only reason why this isn't a five star review is because the bathrooms aren't clean and it was difficult to flag someone down at the end to pay. For those not used to Asian customer service, know that it's nonexistent, and that's the case here. However if you come knowing there will be a long wait and that it's not known for customer service, then you'll have an amazing time with tasty food.

For more of a fast food type of Chinese restaurant this place is really good! More quality than most other Chinese places of this style around here.
Full House Chinese Fusion Cuisine

I was surprised to see a Chinese restaurant in a place where I normally went for American style breakfast, but it was delicious. Honestly, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in California. It is a proper Korean-style Chinese cuisine ‘restaurant'. The price doesnt seem cheap.------------------------------------5/6/19Jjambbong is delicious. The taste is very light and the seafood is very soft. The ingredients are fresh and it tastes like Korean hotel-style jjamppong. Jjajangmyeon is ordinary but okay. Meanwhile, looking at the overall lunch menu prices, they are very cheap. Almost jackpot lunch price! Not only sweet and sour pork but also gourmet sweet and sour pork is a delicacy. The sauce has a taste that overlaps with Thai sweet and sour sauce, but is slightly different. The perfect taste for bad breath. The tempura emphasizes the soft taste of pork meat rather than the crispy taste of the batter. The thickness is just right and the texture is good. Gourmet sweet and sour pork is delicious ♥Meanwhile, regular sweet and sour pork has a crispy batter. The sauce is soy sauce?? Its fresh because it has a unique, strong taste.-----------------04/2021Dining available. I enjoyed the original sweet and sour pork, gourmet sweet and sour pork, and shrimp fried rice here for the first time in a long time. On the other hand, it is good to be able to make tangjjamyeon, tangjjammyeon, etc. The quantity is quite large.

Team member Laura was incredibly rude. At this location pick up orders are done at the exit of the restaurant so not knowing that they had changed where to pick up my order I headed to the exit no On helped me and when I finally got Laura's attention I told her I had a pick up and she told me that I had to go around the building when for her it was literally just a couple of steps I had to go all the way around being so unaccommodating when I asked her If she could just hand it to me so I wouldn't have to go around she said not I work in retail and the way she handled it was completely off putting. When I finally made it around I asked if I could get chili sauce she said yes and walked so incredibly slow as if she was doing it on purpose to spite me, as she walked to the kitchen I saw her gossip with another coworker and look at me. How rude and unprofessional. I always come to this Panda Express for lunch specially since I work right across the parking lot and will definitely continue to go but Laura's lack of professionalism was offputting I've never seen her at the store. I never leave reviews calling out specific team members but she needs to learn and a leader needs to have a conversation with her

I am such a fan of these little mom and pop Chinese restaurants. It makes me think of my own family and how hard they worked to support everyone. This restaurant is a mom cooking, with her kids who help out (the older one helps take orders and serve, the younger two help bring water and clean the tables). To the reviewer who spoke negatively about this restaurant looking like a daycare and wanting the kids to be out of sight, shame on you for shaming a mom running a restaurant; this is what it’s like for people who have to grind to give their kids the best they can.Having said that, we happened on this place when the Italian restaurant next door was randomly closed. I am so glad it was, because this food was GREAT.The menu isn’t huge, but we ordered a lot and everything was really good - xiao long bao, pork and shrimp dumplings, wonton noodle soup, beef rolls and pan fried pork buns. Of course this ain’t DTF but this was really solid Chinese food, and it’s perfect for a rainy day. We’ll definitely make this a regular place in our rotation!

[5-STAR RECOMMENDATION] This Panda Express Chinese restaurant is located on West Malvern Avenue in the city of Fullerton, California. It is located near the Barnes and Noble bookstore. My favorite entree is the orange chicken! It is absolutely delicious. The customer service associates are friendly and nice!

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant / fast-food chain for Chinese standards, including some health-conscious options. It’s close to the University of Fullerton and comparatively a small place. We came here on December 24, 2021. They have plenty of options like Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Sichuan Hot Chicken, and many more. The food is good as always. The inside of the place is clean enough. The overall service is good and the price is also affordable.

Grits Asian Fusion Restaurant & Pub
133 W Chapman Ave #102, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
My experiences with Grits leave me wanting to give this place a one star, and sometimes, a five star rating.Expect a wait time, and not a short one. 30 minutes or more every time I have gone. Im sure if you arrive and are the first people there in the morning, there will still be a 30 minute wait. This is okay, its a popular place. Except every time I get seated, I look around and see empty tables. Why are they not filling the place? Im not sure the wait staff or kitchen can handle too many orders..Staff is always friendly and helpful, except for the one time. More about that later. They always seem to be rushing around and sweating. They work pretty hard. The wait time to get your food is surprisingly short, once you put in your order. Around 10 minutes. Which makes me wonder, why is there always a long wait time for this place? If the staff is moving quickly, and the food comes quick, people can be in and out faster, right? For the food, its amazing. Its the reason youve heard about this place and are trying it. The fried chicken is crispy and cooked perfectly, the waffles are flavorful and light, and the jalapeño grits, are just amazing. Except for the one time where the food wasnt great. This way many months ago, the girlfriend and I sat down to eat, after a long wait, and ordered right away. I dont remember what she had, but I do remember I ordered the Pork Belly Benny. It sounded good, and I couldnt wait to try it.Food comes, looks amazing. I go to dig in, and its barely warm, kind of cold in spots. Im hungry, and I hate to complain. But I realized the pork just isnt right. Its a bit under cooked. Should have been cooked to medium, but is medium rare to rare. It doesnt taste that good, and is ungodly chewy. Like chewing on a piece for 3 minutes and have to spit it back out. That doesnt seem like its proper pork belly.I decided to complain to the waiter, who was friendly up to this point. And he gets defensive and decides to argue with me that the pork is cooked right and it is not chewy. Huh? How does he know? Who argues with the customer on whether they like something? Isnt the right thing to do is apologize and offer to take it back, or make another dish? But instead, he argued with me that its made the way it should be... He had no other answer or solution for me.
Panda Express
800 N State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States
The food here is very dry and bland (much like the rest of the meals in the CSUF food court). Absolutely save your money and go to one of the many delicious restaurants within walking or driving distance of campus. I would rather starve than spend my money on the food at this Panda Express again. Or buy chips from a vending machine to buy myself some time. The staff here is perfectly fine and helpful, and I have no complaints about the speed or cleanliness. The food is just... bleh, considering how expensive it is.
