Absolutely the best food in Lakeport. There is a reason why this place is usually busy. Good food is not easy to find in this little lakeside town. HK restaurant has friendly staff and some excellent dishes. We love the Mandarin Shrimp, Spicy Eggplant and the Hong Kong style fried noodles. If you order the plain fried rice you might get some canned carrot cubes but they use fresh produce in most of the items on the menu. Weve eaten the lunch buffet and while decent, it does not represent the best dishes available here. However, the buffet is a great value. The food at Hong Kong is as good or better than the food at most Chinese restaurants in San Francisco.

Of all the chinese restaurants in Lakeport, this is my favorite. Every single time I try their food, Im delighted and totally satisfied. The rice or noodles is perfectly cooked, the spices combination is perfect, nothing overpowering, the spiciness level is excellent, and right from the smell, you know good food awaits to explode in your palate.

Yeah I only gave them 2 stars because they were at least friendly. I clearly ordered The meal that came with 3 soft tacos. I asked for them to be all chicken supreme. I asked for a separate soft taco with beef for my mother. I also asked for a nacho Grande Box when I got up to the window which I felt terrible about because I forgot to order it when I was at the speaker. But when I got home, I found one hard chicken taco that had no sour cream in it and some kind of a breakfast burrito. They at least gave me one soft beef taco for my mother and the nacho Box for my brother.When they handed me the bags I asked if the full meal that I ordered was there because when I added the nacho Grande Box they said I would have to pull around to the front. I did not mind pulling around to the front. But then they said that they were able to put it together quick enough that I didnt have to pull around to the front and that the whole meal I ordered was there. This is now the 3rd time between people in my household that we have left Taco Bell drive-through in Lakeport with the wrong meal. We will not be returning.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but that wasnt a choice.... I am from out of town and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Sunday evening and now just came back again today to give them a second chance and it must just be this specific store but they have ABSOLUTELY 0 customer service and professionalism about them, except for the Manager Rene, who took care of my issue from Sunday night. Representative Ryan in drive thru kept telling me he didnt know when asking about menu items and such. He pulled the debit card pin machine right out of my hand, was staring at me in an un-professional manner, didnt know whuch drink was which, when handing them to us, and the whole order was incorrect on a $32.00 order. Now today, Wed Nov 20th, the Hispanic female employee that took my order for my sons jr. bacon cheeseburgers, PLAIN, answered her CELL PHONE after tellung me the amount I owed. I waited a few secinds for her to get off the phone and then she answered it again!! Another employee after I told the employee that it was super unprofessional to answer her cell phone stated it was the manager calling her... I dont carecwho was,calling, Im a customer and you shouldnt have your phone out at all. They have a store phone number, for just that, if a manager needed to get ahold of an employee. Also,, how do people not understand what plain means. She asked me 3 times after I stated 2 jr. Bacon cheesburgers, PLAIN, just meat, cheese and bacon. No sauce? Duh! no sauce did I mention sauce when I repeated just meat, chrese and bacon? Maybe if she wasnt on her phone she would have heard me. But there also was another male employee cheering and hollering in the kitchen as well. All in all 2 horrible experiences at this establishment. :-( ....... 1,000,000% DISSATISFIED
