Wongs Mandarin Restaurant

Disappointed to say the least .First if all were not picky picky but def do like to eat at clean establishments ... Was sad to see a dish washer or busser touching and handling food right after doing dishes/handling old food from previous customers eating there .. On top of that No apron just a dirty sweater inches away from our food ... Nothing about the food was good .. Mongolian beef was bad with the three pieces of beef i did get with crunchy Old and I mean crunchy old chow mien noodles or maybe burnt would better describe it we basically ate a few bites and threw our food away ...wasnt worth it . not the place I would continue to go .
Yen Ching Restaurant

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Lodi. The food ranges from good to very good, but the service is always excellent. They are great for dining in or take out.
Ming Sing Chinese Restaurant

My go to Chinese restaurant in Lodi. Prices are competitive and service is quick. I would order the dinner for two and the prices are competitive that you get an appetizer, soup and 2 vian and fried rice. They have a ton of customers and they are very busy. The phone keeps ringing for orders.
Jade Fountain Chinese Restaurant
2401 W Turner Rd # 260, Lodi, CA 95242, United States
9/18/2023OK, so last year, we moved from the Bay Area and I am used to good Chinese food, although Lodi has a few Chinese restaurants, I did try them all, and they are terrible! From this experience, I opted to eat at Panda Bear as my last resort, can you imagine settling for PB? Now comes Jade Fountain, a new cook, and a revised menu on Turner Road, the food is compared to my old Bay Area favorites and finally my wife is eating Chinese again. BTW, the prices are down to earth! No bull, try them they deserve a shot and you will agree. Enjoy.
Golden China Restaurant
100 W Turner Rd E, Lodi, CA 95240, United States
My husband and I found this gem many years ago and have been going ever since. The food is always cooked to order, fresh, and authentic. It’s inexpensive but don’t be fooled by the price, as it tastes better than most of the pricier Chinese restaurants in the area! The next best Chinese restaurant is R&G located in Chinatown, SF. The waitress sounds mad but she’s really very friendly and will get you anything you need to make your dining experience exceptional! We especially like the potstickers and house chicken. You won’t be sorry if you try them. ;). But really, we’ve never been disappointed when venturing off the usual order to try something new.
Panda Express
2624 W Kettleman Ln, Lodi, CA 95242, United States
Panda Express is a misnomer, if you visit during peak dining hours. If you arrive before or after the rush, you can get in and out in a matter of seconds. But if you are unfortunate enough to show up at the wrong time, youre in for a long wait. The food is always good, relatively speaking, but you wont find a huge crush of Asian people in line. At lunch time, local Chinese restaurants serve higher quality food for just about the same price. But, Panda is consistent, good not great, and inexpensive. That being said, my theory on dining out, and/or food shopping is: the busier the establishment is, the faster the product turn-over. Hence... the fresher the food. This Panda gets very busy during peak hours. Enjoy!
Wild Chinese Buffet
651 N Cherokee Ln Ste H, Lodi, CA 95240, United States
Is this the best Americanized Chinese food ever? No... But for $10 all you can eat?? Tastes amazing. I'll be eating in monthly, helping out by proving to other customers that Asians also like this place LOL.Very spacious inside. The cash register and buffet table are by the back. It's self serve if you're eating in for the buffet, for togo you let them know what you want in your box. They've got all the basics and more. My favorite is their general tso's chicken and I love the wontons. Pretty solid fried rice and noodles. The orange chicken is pretty funny, kinda tastes like oranges. They also have fried veggies that taste kinda weird, it'd be awesome if they improved the batter so I could eat those and feel healthier lol. Egg drop soup is hit or miss? None of the dishes are very spicy in my opinion in case you're sensitive. They also have Mr. Pibb soda, kinda rare. The owners and workers are Chinese and very nice people. My one wish is for there to be a cheap self serve vanilla ice cream machine installed LOL ? I hope this place stays alive forever.

Sky Wok

Happy little surprise on the way to Lodi Lake! Stopped here for lunch on a whim because we were hungry and we honestly were not expecting such great food (with very generous portions) and welcoming service! Being Asian ourselves, my family and I are usually super picky when it comes to good Asian cuisine and we couldn't be more impressed by this place. It was Father's Day when we went too, and they tossed in a little bonus box of sesame buns on the house for us in honor of the holiday. Amazing meal, great service, and a lovely Father's Day lunch memory with my family :) can't recommend enough and we will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the Lodi area!
