Szechwan Chinese Food
2107 Pacific Coast Hwy, Lomita, CA 90717, United States
This is our favorite Chinese restaurant by far. The food is delicious and is the best that we have ever had. No other Chinese restaurant comes close. The staff is pleasant, professional and show true hospitality. The restaurant is clean, well designed and nicely decorated. My best friend wants to eat here every time that she comes to visit from out of state.
Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine
1949 Pacific Coast Hwy, Lomita, CA 90717, United States
I love Ruiji Sichuan Chinese restaurant, their menu has quite the variety and many delicious foods even if you dont like spice which I think is their main personality. I always get their Sichuan popcorn chicken that leaves a numbing feeling after eating a few, but if you can handle spice youll keep on eating it anyways, but if you cant handle spice the sesame chicken is a tangy and sweet option (reminds me of sweet and sour pork but chicken). I also love their sticky rice in brown sugar (its heavy, sweet, and fluffy when warm but has more of a mochi texture if you have it for a later for takeout however its delicious in anyway!) Or if you prefer something light, cold, and refreshing the cold pudding in brown sugar (Allergy: Peanuts ?) is also amazing, maybe a slight acquired taste though. I also reserved a private room this round which you need a minimum of $200 bill, we were a bit short (11 invited but only 7 could make it) but the staff warned us and were okay about it this time around. Ruiji has the one of the most authentic Chinese food Ive ever ate, and if youre planning for a private room meal with spicy crab and lobster you would need to make reservations for the room and that seafood. Ive also went with my group of National Chinese Honors Society members and tried their mapo tofu(Has their signature Sichuan spice, really good!) and their sweet and sour fish (If youre a fan of fish and feel adventurous you must try this sweet and tangy fried fish dish, their presentation is one of a kind!) Overall, if Google gave prominent reviewers one six star review for their favorite restaurant (GOOGLE THIS IS AN IDEA!), this would be the restaurant I would give that to!
A-1 Chinese BBQ

This place rocks! D-lishousness all up & down the menu. I have been to many Chinese restaurants throughout Southern California and this hole in the wall is one of a kind. I have been here with my fiancee & our little one of 7 years. So far we have sampled their Crispy noodle Chow mein *all styles*, Fried rice *all styles*, Wonton noodle soups *roasted duck/BBQ-pork*, Chinese broccoli with garlic, Bok-choi with garlic, Mao po tofu, Fried Chicken *appetizers* Egg Rolls, Salt & Spicy Jumbo Shrimp *tapioca battered* (a must try),Roasted Duck, BBQ-pork, General Tsaos Chicken. It gets busy and packed all the time so arrive early with a big appetite. They have excellent service and will accommodate your every salivatory needs. We will be back for the rest of the menu, til then I am most sure whatever you decide to sample, you wont be disappointed.Enjoy!
Tasty Noodle House
2373 Pacific Coast Hwy, Lomita, CA 90717, United States
Went here for take out and even asked the staff what the specialties are. Worst chinese restaurant Ive ever been to. Got take out of xiao long bao, chicken and shrimp chow mein and smoked pork and vegetables. Stay away from the smoked pork dish.. seriously, run away. Its 90% leeks and the pork that you get is so salty its not even edible. The xiao long bao wrapper is too thick and chewy. The chow mein was the only thing thats okay.. not great, just okay. Im never coming back here again.

For really good Chinese food without going to a Chinese restaurant, this is the place! Seriously they give enough food in the order for 2 meals! Sometimes the line is kinda long, but it is worth it!

Their food is good but not excellent. Their CATERING SIDE OF THEEEE OPERATION is a different story however : Someone was interviewed and hired on the spot by Kim, the H.R. Manager but but but Crystal Coser said, well basically UN-hired someone because this person had A broken tooth veneer and 1 Dental tooth extraction on order to prepare for an implant. The tooth that had to be extracted was in the upper right quadrant, and yes it was visible, agreed. The other broken veneer was not to visible due to its location. Both teeth which was in the process of been repaired, been prepped for a replacement. So beeeecause of the simple fact that someone had a broken tooth veneer and a necessary extraction : as in a gap in the upper front area this was theee cause for Crystal to over-write Kim and UN-hire someone beeecause of a dental gap and broken Veneer. This person did have a gap on the front area, yes, agreed..This was during COVID-19s strick Facemasks policy established by the Los Angeles county Department of Public Health in which Facemask were mandatory by restaurants and Catering company employees. so if FACEMASKS were going to be involved before, during and after catering events ( as well as restaurants ). Why would Crystal Coser basically terminate someone because of A broken Dental Veneer ? I guess she is CONCERNED about thee image of HER COMPANY : about A broken Dental Veneer and an extracted tooth that will make HER COMPANY look bad eventhough COVID19 FACEMASKS would would cover the smiley face area she is concerned about... Crystal Coser how do YOU feel about YOUR IMAGINE NOW...???THERE is more, Since Crystal Coser UN-hired someone, this dedicated person would call, text and send Emails in order to book shifts with Bites and Bashes Crystal Cosers Catering Company. This went in for 2 Months. Guess what ?? There were no no NO returned calls, emails or texts. No type of communication from Bites and Bashes Catering. No Texts, calls, emails, radio traffic, Shortwave radio, satellite phone, CB, Telex, Fax, 2 way radio, Chirp Commo, smoke signals, Mirror signals, or messenger pichons. Nothing nothing telling this person something like Sorry, I Crystal Coser changed my mind So i told Kim my H.R. manager not to book you for any events . As a common courtesy at least tell someone they were UN-hired instead of this dedicated person stopped looking for work THINKING I GOT A JOB, I will just wait until THEY text me for events I can work Does Crystal Coser write BIAS-ED reviews due to the way a prep cook or line cook or a waitress / waiter / server looks like a bad car accident, or someone got burned during a house fire or A survivor of the Killing Fields Of Cambodia or A failed assassination attempt by North Korean Agents...Crystal Coser is also a co-editor for EaterLA...Discrimination is not only UN-ethical but is also ILLEGAL Crystal Coser...HOPE-FULLY you the readers will wonder what she does behind closed door regarding Catering and her little cafe in Lomita with matching name :Bites n Bashes Cafe and Catering25600 Narbonne AvenueLomita, CA. 90717THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME...
Malee Thai Cuisine
133 E Lomita Blvd, Carson, CA 90745, United States
Edit: Restaurant is under new management :/ new recipes, some classic ones are missing. The original owners sold the business and arent the cooks anymore... Really sad day. Food probably wont be as good ???Ugh. I like to wait until Ive been a couple times to review a place. Its my second time here and it is so good. The first time around I got the Thai spicy fried rice and it was excellent! I got it very spicy and it still had plenty of flavor. The second time around I got the orange chicken very spicy (pictured) and it was GREAT. it was crispy and sweet and spicy a and wonderful! We came on rainy days and there was plenty of seating!Prices and portions were solid as well!Update: 8 months later, still as good as before. Tried the beef noodle soup today (mild) it was capital D, Delicious. The soup had the perfect blend of sweet and spice, the noodles were cooked to perfection, there were plenty of them, and the broth was tongue meltingly good.

Ive been Rocking with Francisco since I was a kid. My Mom used to bring all of her cars to him and may she RIP. I continued taking her cars, then my cars and now my SUV, every 2 years. I remember when he was the assistant and worker for the first owner of this establishment and I was happy and proud to see who purchased and owns the business. He is very kind, friendly, patient, efficient and trustworthy. He was having technical difficulties with the DMV internet and he tried in every way to resolve it but it was out of his hands because it was a global problem. He was very apologetic about the matter.and I had no problem coming back the next day. He charges reasonable prices and gets you in and out in no time. Thanks Francisco.
