This place reminds me of eating chinese food when I was a kid. None of the fake noodles in a foam container that are abundant everywhere. This place uses the real vegetable noodles for their chow mien. The sweet and sour, almond chicken, shrimp and egg rolls and wor won ton soup are the best. I have been looking for a place like this since my old chinese restaurant, Kum Po on Rosem ad Blvd in Pico Rivera closed down about 15 years ago. Would definitely recommend this place especially for old time chinese restaurant lovers like myself.

To start off. The food isn't that bad but you know what is? The cashier named Lily. She had the most disgusting attitude I have ever seen. Does this girl even know what customer service is? I accidentally grabbed the wrong change during my transaction and she very rudely screamed at me. I let her know it was a mistake and she held onto her attitude some more. After some exchange of words, she tried to snatch my food AFTER I had already paid for it. The level of disrespect this employee had was through the roof. She should be fired immediately. @pandaexpress do better.

Ive ordered from this spot several times via Doordash, but wanted to check it out in person after seeing mixed yelp reviews. Its small, kinda grimy, but seemingly clean enough (the building could be in better shape, but otherwise its ok). The staff was very friendly, the older Asian woman working up front was very sweet and funny. They take cards on orders over 10 bucks in spite of a sign that says cash only. As for the food, I recommend the beef chow mein, you have to wait a few minutes, but its worth the wait. The chicken wings are usually very crispy and delicious, but sometimes if they are old they arent quite as good. The chicken egg rolls are awesome, for Chinese fast food, that is. If you dont come in expecting a high class chinese restaurant dining experience, i think you will be extremely satisfied with what you get.

The food is what we used to know as Cantonese, however since the Chinese influx in the U S, it goes by some other name. The chow mein is made with bean sprouts, but you can add soft noodles upon request. The egg foo young is THE BEST ANYWHERE! Almond chicken is delicious. Try the shrimps with lobster sauce. Everything on the menu is far better than any other Chinese restaurant!

07/01/2019One word, bland. The food is very simple in flavor and is borderline tasteless. The dumplings are mediocre at best, everything appears water down but I’m assuming the good reviews come from the people settling on the low price. The waitresses seem to be focused on rushing the customers out rather than providing proper customer service. Save your money and if looking for a great Chinese restaurant with similar prices and superior authentic Chinese cuisine then try “Min’s Dumpling House” it’s a bit of a drive from the montebello area but very much worth it.

The overall feeling of this restaurant opened by Chinese immigrants is very good. The rice is a little hard, which may be more suitable for American tastes, but the fried noodles and chicken are really good. There are also other stir-fry dishes, which are fast food, delicious, and very cheap. The portions are generous and huge.

Meh not your average Chinese restaurant. Serving is skimpy bowls are not as big as regular bowls. Maybe im just fat. But I actually wanted one side one entree and he doesnt even offer this only option is two sides one entree. Tsk tsk. Wont come back.

Anna is the sweetest person alive. Ive known her for years and she is always a delight, makes you feel like youre part of the family. They were closed for a bit during Covid, but Im happy to see that theyre back in business.The food is great and reasonably priced, lower than most any other restaurant with a similar menu. I had house fried rice and orange chicken that was perfect.Anna shared that she travels the world to get ideas. She had me try a new bbq chicken wing skewer that she was testing out that tasted AMAZING.Not a lot of seating space so it is always a warm and intimate environment.Big recommend.
