Panda Express
2690 Teller Rd, Newbury Park, CA 91320, United States
I really enjoy eating at Panda Express. Theyre a little more on the expensive side in terms of fast food restaurants so its kind of a special treat when I do go there for my family. My problem is with the soy sauce. I happen to really enjoy my Chinese food a lot more when I have soy sauce with it. For some reason at Panda Express they make you ask for the soy sauce when youre at the register after you pay for your order. That is fine. But when the cashier acts as though they are going way out of their way to get you some or simply lies to you completely about putting some in your bag already, thats what irks me. Thats exactly what happened to me three nights ago. I didnt realize until I got home, a few miles away from the store that the cashier lied to my face and put no soy sauce packets in my bag. They act like the cost for those packets come out of their daily wages or something. I realize I can go to the grocery store and buy some for myself which is what Ill do, but my point is thats something they provide with your meal there and why should I be made to feel like Im bothering the staff for asking for some or just flat out be lied to? I know Im not the only person who feels this way about Panda Express, Ive spoken to many people who all feel the same way. I wonder how many customers theyve lost over this.

This is a great little hole-in-the wall Chinese restaurant. Having gone there with little expectation or delusions of grandeur I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt service and quality of the dishes. The staff as expected of any authentic Chinese house, had think Asian accents and bowed at everything. The fu young was marvelous as was the honey shrimp. THe portions were generous and the pot stickers a secret success...Yummy!
Red Wok

I have ordered twice from here. The food is amazing. Since moving to Newbury Park, we have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. It has been a difficult search. But finally, the Red Wok won the prize. Everything we order is hot and delicious. The portions are huge. The War Won Ton Soup here is one of the best I have ever had. The sweet and sour chicken is the best I have ever had. If youre looking for great Chinese food, look no further. Red Wok is where we will be ordering all of our Chinese food from now on.

From the north of California, I went south to Los Angeles along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). I visited a few modified Asian restaurants in the Bay Area, and then all the way south, I had hamburgers and fries. You should find a traditional Chinese restaurant to feed yourself. This restaurant is located in a non-Chinese area, so it probably relies on word of mouth.I ordered boiled fish, which is an olfactory dish. The focus is on the smell of the dish. The tofu stew must be able to cook, especially for retired people who have poor teeth. Hot and Sour Soup Every Chinese can cook this soup, but most don’t. I came here last year and the food here makes me want to come again. Today I ordered an extra chicken with tangerine peel. It is a dish that you can eat and smell, so I give this a bonus. This Chinese food is okay, the tables are clean and everything is tidyI got their unique Shaobing with meat recommended by the boss. This sesame seed cake is highly recommended. Let’s continue heading south.

This is a Chinese Restaurant. Very disappointed to order 6 Thai dishes just to find out that the food is Chinese with Thai names and a few spices. I’ve been to Thailand many times and know good Thai Food. I was very excited to support a new/local business but can not recommend this restaurant for Thai Food.
Seven Spice Kitchen

I have never ever ate a meal where I instantly didn't feel good. I brushed my teeth three times and could not get their food's taste out of my mouth and now 17 hours later I still feel nauseous. I will never ever eat here again. My teen wanted to go here and get some thing quick because we were rushing. I have definitely learned my lesson, never again. There was so much sodium and so much MSG. I can't believe it's a day later and I still feel so so sick. The food was not fresh, I felt like I was eating food that was maybe a week old. I still taste this awful food in my mouth, a day later & still nauseous ?

Spudnuts has creative doughnuts daily (though not the cheapest doughnut store in NP), my favorite Chinese spot in town & a reputable vet clinic as well as Plush Puppy, a dog groomers. Plus a 24/7 open 7-11, the same liquor store thats been there 4 years &, since movin from Wendy Dr, the restaurant Country Harvest. Last, & far from least, Tonys New York Pizza where for only $2 you can buy a slice of pizza. Their slices are actually two, & hang off (length & width) the standard white paper plate. Tonys we love you!)
