Boston Lobster Seafood Restaurant
4501 Rosemead Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
If you’re in the 626, you’d probably have heard of Boston Lobster. It is the perfect spot for traditional Chinese and Cantonese family-style dishes. One of their most famous dishes Lobster noodles (hence Boston Lobster) is a classic. The lobster is cooked to perfection, and the seasoning is on par with many other chinese restaurants. They also offer a wide range of other delicious options to choose from. One of my all time favorites is the black bean clams, which are always fresh and packed with umami flavor. It has recently moved locations to Rosemead Blvd. However, the quality of the food and service has remained exceptional, and the new location is cleaner, bigger and encapsulates a higher end Chinese restaurant feel.I’m a huge fan of Boston Lobster again and again. I can’t wait to be back with my family.

I want to give this place zero star if I could, because the lady who works there ( short dyed hair, mid age, wear white shirt everytime when I went there) who provided such bad and disrespectful service every single time I went there .Today, I had breakfast dim sum at the sitdown dinner room next door with family, which we all loved to go there, service 90% good, ( sometimes at the weekends they got overwhelmed)We loved the food, tastes good! And I am 7months pregnant, I always craving the sticky rice wraps in lotus leaf糯米鸡, so I went to Thr shop to get 5 orders of the sticky rice (which is ten pieces)This is what I want to complain about:First, I went in told this lady what I want, she told me they dont have that many ready, but they do have in frozen, do I still want it, I said yes,no problem. She came back with a bag of the different types of sticky rice wrap in leafs( 粽子, 我要的是糯米鸡) so I told her she grabbed the wrong one, she started shouting at me and said 有无搞错! 明明你话粽! 真烦! Seriously? You said Zongzi, you are annoy! Then she went back in to the kitchen to get me the right one. Her co-workers even laughed, I literally told her clearly what I want, her coworkers even said they heard what I ordered is correct. Anyway, I just want what I want and get out, I tired of dealing this woman every single time I came here. Then my mom went in, add an order of half BBQ duck, a medium size of tofu Togo, so my mom asked for the prune sauce for the duck, she gave me one, I ask her for another one, because we are having half duck, this tiny sauce is not enough. She started shouting at me about that I ask too much, half duck only got one sauce, blah blah..she gave me the second one, but still mumbling while we walking out the door! When I paid for the money, total is 44 with some change, for all happens I didnt check the price, I just paid. Then when I open the bags of the 糯米鸡, sticky rice wraps in lotus leaf, she gave me 10 orders, which is 20 pieces of that. It wasnt right amount that I ordered, but its ok, I will eat it anyway, but still, another mistake for her!I worked for the service district as a bartender, I understand the long hours rush, on the feet, frustrated, but no customers deserve any type of disrespect and shouting like she does!!A lot of people can provide better working attitude than hers!!

I recently discovered this place with my friend. The food was pretty good the first time I was there, but the service was so-so, which was kind of expected in this area. Because the food tasted pretty good, I decided to take my grandma and aunt here for lunch. We ordered simmered noodle soup, mung bean jelly, and pan-fried buns. There was a long wait between each of the dishes, so we ended up eating each dish one by one, which is not typical for Chinese food. We were almost done with the mung bean jelly before the simmered noodle soup was served, and the pan-fried buns were still not there when we almost finished the simmered noodle. When we finally saw the buns, the waiter/owner served them to a table that came later than us but ordered the same dish. We thought maybe he forgot, so we went to ask him. He was very unapologetic and rude about it. He said, What do you want me to do about it? That just ruined our day, which was supposed to be a fun outing with my 90-year-old grandma. No matter how good the food tastes, its not worth it. I understand that people make mistakes in placing orders sometimes, so Im not mad about that. Its his attitude, which was just terrible.I dont see them staying in business for long if they dont change how they treat customers. This could have been a four or five-star review, but now its a one. No food is good enough to ruin your mood for.

This is one of the best Noodle Houses in LA I have ever tried since I started my studies here in the U.S. and I will always tell my friends you know the food is bussin when there is a shrine when you enter a Chinese/Viet/Thai restaurant as the food is served with a taste of culture. The vibe of the restaurant takes you back to your favorite southeast asian hometown and makes you feel nostalgic as you reminisce eating noodles with your family. Now for my recommendation you must try the number 1 thick egg noodle with soup on the side or number 48 with soup on the side. You could also request grilled onion which in my opinion one of the most delicious toppings you could add to the noodles. My family likes to order other things in the menu with different styled noodles and it is worth to experiment everytime you go there as it is fairly affordable noodles in comparison to other places in California. I highly recommend it and it’s one of the most delicious places to visit and eat if you miss home or want to try and experience true asian cuisine

Chinese Restaurant - Fast Food Chain for Chinese-American food. The service was fast, the food taste was average and the price was more than acceptable.
Xiang Ji BBQ & Seafood

This cake is not served here. We brought it ourselves for mothers day. They were somewhat attentive if you get the waiters and waitresses attention just like any other Chinese restaurant. They did have some food that ran out but we got everything we ordered. The dishes with heated ceramic pots took the most time and came out last.
Sam Woo BBQ

Best Sam Woo Ive run into so far. Very clean and great service. I dont take it likely when I say about service, especially when it came down to Chinese restaurants. Very friendly staff. I have one and a half year old girl and the restaurant is not cramped for the stroller.

Ordered three flavor chow mein which included shrimp and pan fried lamb dumplings 6/29/2022 @7:50pm. The lamb dumplings were under cooked and the shrimp was SPOILED! I would usually let this roll off my back because this is a Halal restaurant, but the chef not only endangered my wife and I. This chef endangered my SON! I will no longer patronize this establishment. I was going to call and complain, but I figured instead of being upset and giving off any negative energy to the other person on the phone; I will just leave a review in case the manager wonders why I dont come there anymore. I was a regular that ordered crispy duck and the pan fried lamb dumplings that always left a tip even if it was takeout. It is a shame because I have been coming here since 2009 if I remember correctly and 13 years of patronage has ended because of a careless chef. The quickest way to lose business is to endanger a mans family. Writing this review probably hurts me more than it hurts them and it really is a shame.
