New Hong Kong Restaurant
1750 E 14th St, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
The quality of food is good and the items are priced reasonably. The restaurant features a wide range of classic Chinese dishes. I especially like the pot stickers, shrimp pan fried noddles, garlic green beans and chicken chow mein. The decor of the restaurant is minimal but clean and well kept. I usually order the food for takeout. It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in San Leandro for takeout. They will also deliver for free for orders of $20 or more.

Chinese Super 5 Kitchen
555 Lewelling Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579, United States
While I dont consider myself a expert with Chinese food, I do have a lifetime of eating it.The offerings here are authentic Chinese, mainly Southern Cantonese style. So not your super spicy Hunan or Northern China kind of flavors. The ingredients are fresh and cooked perfectly. The only thing missing is the amount of spice in my curry noodle dish. The owners run this business and really care about their customers. The restaurant is easy to overlook because it is part of the motel in back. But its gems like this that make it worth seeking out, a genuine hole in the wall. The seating is simple so no frills here. Its a place to eat the ample portions. Cost is about average but slightly above a similar place in say Oakland Chinatown.I recommend choosing any of the lunch specials even for dinner, as those are the best value.Overall, I recommend this place if you want to fill up and have a great menu to choose from.

Best BBQ Chinese Food
180 Greenhouse Marketplace, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
I have visited this hot plate place over the years and always forget why I dont come here much = I do like the BBQ Pork and Duck - and that is all. each of their buckets of food is very bland and taste less -Covid Summer 2020 I had a two item dish dinner - Fried beef rice that was tasteless and hard like eating sand, Bean Chicken cold greasy and not a bit of flavor = The BBQ should have been the highlight but it is the worse - cold dry hard to chew bland pork - I asked for some sweet and sour pack and that added the flavor.Price for this cold plate of food - 9.00 - yes as you see in the pics the food glows with color and looks great . But trust me its cold and has no flavor. At 4pm they have a happy hours for 4.99 - this means you are welcome to some hot pans of Asian food that has been sitting out all day for a bit of a discount - Avoid this one -- try the Noodles next door or Hawaiian fast food next door --

Lees garden Chinese restaurant
21 Thornton St, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
I dont visit this location as often as I like; but, the food is still very good. I had the luncheon special for 11.99 with soup. We shared a bowl of hot and sour soup accompanied by chicken with veggies over Chow mein. It was very satisfying, and we had leftovers for another meal. This is by far the best Chinese fast food restaurant in San Leandro. Seating is very limited. The location itself could use an upgrade, but the quality of food makes up for the esthetics.

Beijing Bowl
14400 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578, United States
There are many chinese restaurants in San Leandro and all over the bay area. This place is pretty much no different. It has your common dishes and it is affordable with pretty decent sizes portions. I like their 2 egg rolls for 99¢ deal, I always get it.It isnt the best but isnt the worst for the price. One thing I like they do best is having an assembly line type way to get your food, so youre in and out.Its my local go to spot if I dont want something like Panda Express and its a local business I support.

Rose Garden Restaurant
15754 E 14th St, San Leandro, CA 94578, United States
I didnt think I could find a Chinese restaurant that had it all! Typically if the food is great, the service is terrible, but this place is an exception.I always call in my order and get around $40 worth of food. They Lways answer the phone with positive energy and dont mind answering any questions I have about the menu. Once I come into the restaurant, Im greeted with nothing but smiles and great smells! Now the food. The one thing Rose Garden does better than any other restaurant is their fried food. As an example, I ordered the Sesame Chicken once and couldnt finish it all. The next day, I warmed up the leftovers in my microwave and noticed that the chicken was STILL CRISPY! I was absolutely mind blown that the sauces didnt make the chicken soggy overnight. This place is bar none. If youre in the San Leandro area and want some Chinese food, Rose Garden is your place.

Xiang Yuen Xiao Long Bao
1668 E 14th St, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
Great food and dumplings, a cut above the usual, made by mom herself, (and Im not kidding. I spoke with her and watch her make them), along with traditional dishes, which are also cut above. For instance I ordered the compound chicken, normally a sweet and sugary affair when ordered at many Chinese and Chinese-American restaurants, even Chinese restaurants that like traditional recipes, often succumb to the whims of the American palate, and apparently Americans loved everything sweet. Not so for many reasons in China, and this particular compound had plenty of flavor, was fresh and vibrant, but wasnt floating in a pool of syrupy glowing orange radioactive sauce. Instead the sauce clung to the meat as it is supposed to, and everything was fresh and crunchy. Truly delicious. As for the dumplings done by a master. I asked the mother, who the mother of the owner, if I could take a picture of her as she made some of these dumplings, a wonderful older lady with a huge smile, only allowed me to take pictures of her hands and the dumplings for which I was very grateful. She had expert technique and was highly concentrated with each dumpling, and yet it seemed kind of effortless as she was chatting to her daughter the entire time. It was a wonderful spectacle to watch while I was eating my delicious food. They were out of a Shiu Mai (pork), but still had Har Gow (Shrimp), and so I ordered the shrimp and their signature Bao, Xiao Long Bao, a dumpling twisted together at the top like a little treasure bag with a meaty center and a chewy meatball type of feeling, surrounded by warm savory broth that explodes when you bite into it. Excellent. And the shrimp dumpling, one of the best Ive ever had, and far better than many that Ive had in Chinatown in San Francisco. They didnt try to kill you with the dough, and relied more on stuffing it to the brim with flavorful shrimp, while keeping the shell relatively thin to the point where it was translucent. This place is a sleeper, because it just looks like an ordinary Chinese-American restaurant, but it is far more than that. It is a spot where some real traditional Chinese food becomes available to Lucky saps like me. I will be back!

Pearl Bay Tea House

The food is really on point for a decent price. You can expect to get more here with the same money than more other Chinese restaurants in the east bay.

Jasmine Chinese Food To Go
14393 STE G, Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578, United States
The food is very good there are couple Chinese ladies they are very unfriendly and when they there the service suck I have been going there for a long time they ought to know me by now and still treat me like a stranger and lack of appreciation Ill from them. So I finally found a good Chinese restaurant that really appreciate the customers very friendly and the know me by name . Is something the other restaurant need to learn if you want to run a business.

Oriental Tea House
604 MacArthur Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
First time in the Bay Area seeing a Chinese restaurant serving these seal tea bags (Kong Fu Tea). These tea bags are 20x more expensive than the normal tea leaf bulk(~$0.2/lb) that we had been seeing in most restaurants over the past decade. In another dim sum place such as Pearl Tea, Fusion delight, and Koi, they never served tea bag like here. Even the holiday price for $1.65 per person that still super cheap for me. I used to buy those Tea Bag on Amazon for $50 w/ 20bags..
