I really wanted to be impressed with this restaurant. It has gotten so many “Best Chinese” ratings in the area. But I’m really disappointed. The chicken chow mein was soggy. The potstickers flavorless. And the beef Katsu was so tough and chewy, You’d have to be a grizzly bear to chew it up. I had to throw out almost all of my dinner. I can’t seem to find any good Chinese in Sonora. And this restaurant is included in the mix, unfortunately.

If you like poor customer service, this is the place for you!! It's a shame I will never be going back there again. Not because of the food cause it is good. The waitress is rude. When she gave us our plates my daughter looked at hers and it had dry stuck on food on it. Not clean at all!! We tried to spit clean it first but it didn't work. My daughter politely asked for another plate and explained that the plate was dirty. The lady took it back. She proceeded to bring another plate to my daughter which had wet soggy stuck on noodles on the plate. My daughter got the waitresses attention and showed her the plate. The waitress told my daughter, “Get up and pick out a plate you think is clean enough then.”. My Daughter got up and walked to the stack, and managed to pick up her ORIGINAL PLATE from the stack. She was almost crying. When she swapped plates with her little sister because her sister was eating soup, the server asked, “Is that one not clean enough for you?”Maybe the department of public health should do a check on this place.Words of advice to this restaurant 1)If a customer asks for a clean plate. Be kinder about it. 2) Don't put the plate that has already touched my table and others hands back in with the clean dishes. That is a major violation of the health code. 3) Dont ever ask a customer to get up and go get their own plate. The food was good, but not good enough to be treated like that. I really should have just walked out but I was hungry. And no I didn't tip them. My husband wound up calling them to complain and at first they hung up on him. He called back and they proceeded to act like they couldn't hear them.

Omgosh, I went to Panda Express today. I ordered 6 large container order. First off staff are pleasant yet under stress. They werent the issues. The food however was. Chicken n string beans... Beans were barely cooked, they tasted like they were not even cleaned. And onions galore?? The Chicken and mushrooms zucchini . No flavor nothing like in the past and Onions again to many. The fire chicken was good but again why all the onions. I had to literally pull out all the tremendous amounts of onion slices. Nothing had the wonderful flavors of the past and what I love it seems they substituted onions n more onions??? The teriyaki chicken I ordered and asked to make sure was breast meat.... Well all dark meat??? The taste of vegetables have that No Wash taste and then Under cooked, Ugh,. No taste and worst no flavor... Thats a 0. So until you all get back to good Panda Express food I will never return. I usually never complain and dont go to remarks. But I feel you should All be aware. I just wanted to bring home to my family a good Panda meal. Even my grandchildren said they didnt like the veggie taste. I hope you at Panda Express fix this. Oh last I always check my order when large. Well the young lady was rushing me while I made sure order was correct. I said please let me look here at food. Guess what? As Miss Impatient was rushing me, a customer walked up beside me at counter and said: this is not what I ordered. He ordered Shrimp and walnut with sides. Guess what? The man before me took home this mans order. Guess he wasnt happy when he got home with this other mans Shrimp and walnut. Yeah Panda Im really disappointed. Bring back the flavors, the healthy washed and cooked veggies, the chicken white meat that is requested and last, Stop substiting onions for ingredients that shouldnt be in normal orders okay. Oh yeah, this is by far the BEST Chinese restaurant in Sonora! Expansive menu, fresh outstanding food and fast service. I always bring family & guests here for a taste of authentic Chinese meals. Cant brag enough about Sonora Hong Kong Garden, try it, youll love it!

I would give it zero stars if possible. The food is just horrible and EXTREMELY over priced. The chicken kabobs are raw and taste like vomit. The baked tilapia is soggy, the sweet and sour pork drenched in runny sauce and the sea food smells really bad. I have no idea how they stay in business. The best part of my meal was my coke. Buffet price is $15.00 supposedly because they added more sea food Im sorry but that sea food is disgusting. Service was fine and the lady was very nice. I was very upset when I had to pay $70.00 dollars for 3 adults and two children!! Its just insane how they charge such a ridiculous amount when some of the buffet choices are not even edible. I will never go back and will make sure to tell people to stay away. People deserve better food.

I didnt make a post about it before because i thought it was a one time thing, i gave almost a year to give this place another chance just to be called and told they would not serve me because i got food poisoning from their restaurant and i called to tell them i did, to let them know, and they told me they were sorry and to call in to order from now on. Well tried ordering today and as we were about to leave i received a phone call of them cancelling my order and telling me they take food poisoning very seriously here which is why they will no longer be serving me. Just doesnt really make sense but ok. They did refund me but we never diacussed me never ordering from there again, me and my husband both got food poisoning i would never lie about this it is a serious thing which is why i brought it to the restaurants attention in the first place. clearly nothing has changed nor were they gonna change anything to begin with which is why they fired me as a client. Your waitress even said that another client complained about the mushrooms tasting funky and agreed that it could be that. Be Better. Be Healthy. Do Better.

So we were seated at 6:46pm and they decided to take our order at 7:20pm and served at 7:56pm. As 2 entire families were seated, order taken and served before we even saw our appetizer salads! We were ignored, and anytime we asked for anything the server would walk away as soon as possible before finding out we needed other items. Meaning we would have to ask two different servers at least twice for the same items before we ever saw it. For example, sugars took two servers 20 mins to get for our drinks. We received our fondue relatively quickly but the server saw our candle was actually dead and useless and set it on the table and walked away, and we had to ask a different serve for a new candle because ours was too burnt to even be relit! We had to ask for silverware after being at the table for 45 mins, hoping we would eat sooner rather than later. My aunt is a diabetic, and requested the order be fairly soon for health reasons and they ignored that fact completely! She had to request 2 bowls of soup over the hour and 15 mins it took for them to serve us in order to keep her blood sugar in check. Four servers walked by approximately 12 times, looking at out table and deciding we werent worth checking on. As my husband went into the restroom, one of the workers used the bathroom and did NOT wash their hands. I couldnt even eat my dinner because I was disgusted. By the time we were able to leave and asking for our tab, we walked out at 8:45pm. A full 2 hours we were there when we would have been done a lot sooner. My appetizer salad was tiny, my husbands and sons clam chowder was luke warm. My shrimp Alfredo was bland and the shrimp overdone, my husbands burger, requested for medium well done, and while the middle was medium the edges were bloody and rare, explain that one to me! My Aunts food had to be sent back because the meat was such a terrible cut she couldnt eat it as a majority was gristle and fat after the server convinced her to get this cut of meat, after my aunt explained what she did not want or like. This was the most atrocious service I have ever encountered in any restaurant. No one should eat here, not just for the simple sake of indifference to their customers but for health reasons!

Excellent family friendly pool hall, arcade, stage, and bar in the back located in East Sonora.They have an excellent beer selection with about 100 available. If you drink all of them you get a mug with your name on it and your picture on the wall. Their nightly special was $3, but the beers I got or $4 for ones like Lagunitas Lil Sumpin.The pool table scene in good condition and our rent by the hour I believe. I tend to doing an event with a cover, which although a little high let us play for free. So it worked out well.there are probably 10 different arcade games around the place for younger kids as well as a ping pong room closed off from the rest of the bar. oh, theres also a video game specific closed off room and one other as of yet unidentified one. Perhaps rent by the hour karaoke or the like?They bringing musical acts to their stage and have a PA set-up. Even a small dance floor. They also support other events like comedy nights.Parking is excellent with a full line in front and the rest of the parking lot available further out. Even full I dont think it be a problem.My biggest criticism of the place is it is a little hard to see from the highway, but just go behind Sonora Chinese restaurant and youll find it. A highway sign would be a great benefit for them!Overall a cool place I look forward to going to again!

Great Thai restaurant. We enjoyed the fresh food, and gorgeous flavors.We visited with a four year old and a six year old (who love Chinese food), and they loved it :-)Now I am on the lookout for a great Thai restaurant in the Peninsula!!
