Panda Chinese & Cajun Seafood Restaurant

Best Chinese restaurant in town. Reasonable prices all across the board. Service is excellent. The atmosphere is very much your typical Chinese restaurant with the pleasant hospitality of the staff.

My opinion still taste like it did when they first opened garbage and cold food. if you want good food go down to the old part of Yucca Valley by jelly donut to Panda house or if you want something even quicker go to Stater Brothers in the middle of town there is a little Chinese restaurant there just down the road from Harbor freight and tractor supply by the $.99 store.

The Jelly donut is the best in town and had been here for more than 30 years. Starrs toolbox has a great variety of tools new and used good deals. The Panda Chinese restaurant has fast, friendly service and good food. Casa Market has a great Mexican restaurant in the back with the best Mexican food in town.

Great Chinese food at a reasonable price! Ordered Combo B: Chow Mein & Fried Rice with Broccoli Beef & BBQ Chicken. It tasted great, and if Im ever passing through Yucca Valley again, Id stop by here before any of the chain restaurants. Enjoyed the chow mein and BBQ chicken the most! Filling and solid portions!Couple flies were buzzing around, so not the most ideal. That keeps them from getting a 5 star for me. Its still worth it if youre used to trying restaurants from hole in the wall status up to a 5 star Michelin rating

FINALLY!! Ive been planning on checking it out for the past couple of months and Im glad I did.I messed up today and didnt read the hours correctly so I showed up for a super late breakfast and an early dinner instead of lunch. After some discussion over our options we decided to come back for dinner.I had a little bit of everything. salad, Hot wings, Meatloaf etc..all of it was good but I was especially happy to get good collard greens AND cabbage cooked perfect with the right amount of bacon, onions etc, hand battered cornmeal-crusted fried fish that was Crunchy on the outside, flaky and moist on the inside with a hint of lemon or dill and fall off the bone finger licking barbecue ribs that were, sweet, spicy, smokey, tender and perfect in every way.Where Im from the folks know how to cook and these lovely folks do too. They even tossed in that southern hospitality Im used to getting which is VERY RARE to see nowadays.I was raised in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and lots of other places that have soul and Sadly Ive missed it a lot since I came over to the other side of the country.. well... If you are like me. HERE IT IS!(Yall are gonna have to get me a chair with my name on it!)Will most def. be back this week!PS: Ill bring back the tupperware...

Thai and Lao Cuisine

We just had a bad experience there as well. It was very awkward and nothing more promising than cafeteria Thai, to be honest. Six of us went and you'd think we were ordering Thai food from a burger joint because the Thai lingo (per sae) was so foreign to the waiter. For example, 3 of us ordered chicken Pad See Ew. We asked what their spice ratings were. We had to explain that to the waiter and it still wasn't fully understood. One of us agreed on “level 2” which was considered to be medium. The waiter brought out what he said was beef Pad See Ew. We advised him we ordered chicken. He went back to the kitchen and brought back out chicken? The chicken was cold as it had obviously been pre-prepared because how else could we bow have chicken in our Pad See Ew in less than 2 mins. Additionally, they didn't know who's order had the level 2 that I mentioned above so we just awkwardly took whichever was handed to us. Well, mine was so unbelievably hot that it was not edible and I can handle spice, trust me. The other 2, one had chili flakes poured over the top and the other had none. Neither of our 3 orders matched in appearance - at all. The others' in our party said their food, which was shrimp fried rice, was mushy. The other who ordered teriyaki had a few pieces of dried and very hard chicken that it was dark orange and couldn't be cut with a knife. Maybe a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce on her dish. When we asked for more sauce, another literal tablespoon was handed to us. Oh, and I may have forgot to mention that don't even try asking any details about their menu, you'll be looked at with such confusion. For example, “does you garlic chicken come breaded or sauced”? You'll be told yes, you'll order it, and then after the food is done you'll be told that it's not breaded or sauced, what else would you like? But this is after everyone's food is already made LOL. The waiter is very nice by the way, but just really needs to study the menu. Since our food took over ONE AND A HALF HOURS to make it out, we had no choice but to just stay and wait it out. We were absolutely starving and didn't know what else we could do to eat as it was approaching 8pm now. When we were clearly done eating, or rather, wanting to leave, we could not get our check for the life of us so my son walked up to the register and asked kindly if we may have our check. He was advised that they would bring it right over. Ten mins passes, (mind you, we have now been here for TWO HOURS, and want to leave. It was loud, food was gross, service was a cluster F). My son went back up to the register to ask for the check again and there was a woman with very short hair who visibly became so frustrated with my son that he had the audacity to ask again, that she physically shoulder checked him as she walked by and glared at him. Everyone in our party saw this happen and so I walked up to her and asked her if there were some thing we did to frustrate her because we just watched her do that to my son. She backpedaled became very apologetic and said that it must be due to her mask that we misunderstood her actions?! Nearly $100 and probably the worst dining experience we've ever had to date. It's a shame the prior owner sold because they were terrific, kind, delicious, & consistent.

The general manager here, has a very ugly soul... He should NOT be in the position in which role he has taken... it is evident by the experience in which I had with him last night, that he makes his employees feel extremely uncomfortable by his own actions, and the things that come out of his mouth, and being the fact that Im a GUEST and had to also bear witness to the atrocities, I have reached out to corporate and have a mind to post the engagement on Instagram, where Im verified!!! It baffles me that people behave in ways that seems to hold no accountability to their actions, but noting that theres only 28,000 plus individuals in this Valley, youd think this person would have better customer service skills, and ways in which to interact with their customers to bring forth better experiences for all parties involved??? all it takes is one person to make a change that the community deserves, even if that means the business itself shuts down and another one takes its place... its that easy... example; somebody could take a photo or video, post it online, and just that quickly, that business could lose one dollar, to 400 plus million in lost Revenue... so what makes you think that Im not that voice???
