Sumo Sushi
1490 E Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
This place is the absolute best sushi and Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Marjorie is the nicest and most prompt server I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I definitely recommend Sumo Sushi in Camarillo.
Masa Sushi

The food was cold and the service slow. Not the up to past experience which made it our go-to Japanese restaurant. Not no more.
Mika Sushi
2500 Las Posas Rd E, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Ive been to a whole lot of sushi restaurants in the US and Mika is the best Ive had in 15 years, comparable to Santa Barbaras Itsuki circa 2003. No doubt the best Japanese restaurant in Camarillo. You owe it to yourself to try.
Yomama Sushi
4900 Verdugo Way, Camarillo, CA 93012, United States
We went here recently and it is really nice. Everything is clean and the interior is very modern looking. The rolls are really good and are very reasonably priced. if you spend frugally, you can get a decent meal for under 20 dollars, but you can get some really good sushi if you are willing to pay the price. I personally would recommend the not-so-authentic fiesta roll if you never had sushi before, it sounds more like a Mexican restaurant than sushi, but the name fits it. I will highly recommend coming here (and I did this entire post withough making a yo mama joke).
Japan Cafe Grill
740 E VENTURA BLVD STE FC4, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
We were coming back from Solvang .ca. on our way back to Los Angeles, Ca. After a week of mini vacation. When my fiancee decide to surprise my mom and I to our last stop before heading home to Camarillo outlets since I never been there. Well once we arrive my mom and I were hungry. My mom looked around the food court and thought it was a good idea to try the Japan Cafe. So once I sat my 66 yr. Old mom and went my fiancee and I went to order. We saw that the cook was cooking while your order and I was trying to figure what it was. Mind you I never been here so the lady by the name of Carmen didnt know her own menu and couldnt explain and looked at me like in a confused way. So I try asking the Asian chic and she couldnt explain until the customer that order said it was chosen shrimp and beef. Well going back to Carmen I asked her if I can get 2 orders of those and 2 seafood soup which big regret and a beef soup. And she kept rushing me and told me if you not ready to order move aside. I said excuse me I did order and she said what was your order. I repeated the order and the 2nd tome she charges me and extra plate for the amount of 70.35 and I told her to review the order. She than said well the order is already made I told her but you are the one that charged me the extra plate. So the Asian chic started giving me this dirty look which it wasnt my fault to begin with the lady carne didnt understand well English and hurryingbme up and than started looking at me and laughing. I than told the Asian chic can you call your manager she than said without going to the back. He is busy is there a problem I responded are you the manager and she said no. I than said ok can you please call your manager and she said he is busy and cant come with a sleek in her face. I than stating hiring my voice and said if you dont want me to make a scene after all this all your manager. Mind you I have a 66 year old waiting for the food while she is just trying to argue waiting 30 minutes for the soups to come out.I finally got the owner to come out explain the situation and appoligize and haves us another soup and drink.I explain I didnt pay 20 bucks this was more like $55.89 and he said yes your right and you shouldnt have not gone through this and I will make sure we speak to both of them. But the nightmare doesnt stop there.after walking around and my mom waiting for us sitting down since she cant walk to much I come to find out she ended up sick vomiting, diarrhea, nauseas and just having to stop on our way back on the side of the freeway and park so she can make it home. Please take care of your love ones and this place has the bad customer service and I pray someone reports this place because who knows what they put in their soup. Someone needs to investigate this place. This was a true story even which by the way my mom will be ok but it was an awful experience.

Wow was I impressed by the management and service and the incredible staff of this museum! I thought this would be a quick walkthrough museum and that of one that's small but I was very wrong! The experience I had here with my family was unforgettable and the tour that the veteran who guided us through was also very amazing. The aviation museum itself is in 3 separate hangars but the main area first accessible is more of the “museum”. It had exhibits of model aircraft throughout the World Wars, Korean War, and Vietnam War. They had displayed not only this but actual parts to the aircraft such as the B17 Underside Turret and incredible of displays of Women in War and the weapons of World War II with many more awaiting you. It tells about the experiences of well known figures in the Air Force and Army such as George H. W. Bush and Senator John Mc.Cain III's Signatures to the site. The first hangar also includes a MIG-21 Cockpit that's fully accessible and looks like it hasn't been touched! The aircraft are almost all FAA approved for flight and are used for the air show held in August. Outside sits a C46 Commando and C47 Skytrain of which the C46 is accessible and has a interior that looks almost untouched and like the original! The other hangars include planes from a real A6M from WWII to a PBJ and its Army Counterpart the B-25 Mitchell. In all this was worth the experience and I suggest that if you love aviation you go to this wonderful museum. If I could I would rate this place 6/5 for “Best Aviation Museum in the Los Angeles area”!
Urbane Cafe
1855 E Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
First off the food was great it's always great every time I go they always make it like the last time. My problem is that I went to order and a person I assume the manager was on her clipboard writing stuff down at the register area and she didn't acknowledge I was there at first but then asked what would I like, I ordered a southwest and a drink. She asks if I wanted my receipt and I take it and walk away she continues to write on her clipboard. During the whole process I felt rushed and didn't feel welcomed as I should've been. I get my order and they forgot my drink. No surprise since the manager was clearly busy doing temperature checks. I had to go up and get my cup and again the unwelcome demeanor was apparent. As a manager why are you on register? Managers aren't supposed to be helping customers they worry about the flow of traffic and making sure customers are helped. I know she was busy doing manager stuff but she can always have someone else help me, I would've got a better experience. This place is good for a delicious bite I hope you don't get a manager that worries about her work more than the customer experience. ?
