This trendy place has great facility, brisk services and having great business. Unfortunately, it was also another testimony of a rule of thumb about Japanese restaurant: If they offer both sushi and ramen, neither can be the best of its kind. Sushi was fresh with ice cold and hard rice. But then again, how many Japanese can cook rice well? While both Ramen noodle and soup were good, a poached egg with running york really shocked us. Never saw it in any Ramen shop, any country. Finished it with great nerve and concern. Its not like Japanese eggs were so good that they mix raw egg with rice for breakfast.

Found a new best Japanese restaurant in Dublin. Sushi, sashimi, tonkatsu soap is so delicious! This is not an overrated review but rather an authentic review! Weve been here 6x already after learning about this place.
Hana Japan Steak House

The owners of this restaurant treat their staff terribly! If you read the yelp reviews many ppl have pointed out how miserable their employees look and the high turn over! That is because they are treated very badly by the 2 Brothers that own it! If you respect your servers and bartenders go to another Japanese restaurant! There are plenty that are better and who treat their employees with respect! It is honestly terrible especially during a pandemic!!
Yanagi Sushi & Grill Dublin

At first the receptionist ignored me while I'm standing there waiting for her to seat a large group, understand that she needs to prioritize. Then she came out after seated the group, again ignored me, no greeting no eye contact. Very rude. A server came out and told me to wait, I waited 5 minutes no sign of any one to take my to be order. In the meantime I saw from behind the counter Japanese curtain staff are tossing trash on the ground and wiping hands on stained cloth. Finally after 10 minutes a server came and asked me what I want. I said can I order to go please and she either couldn't hear or just wanted to ignore me again. This place is dark inside and servers do not care to wear masks (which is not too much a big deal if they keep sanitization in mind but evidently they did not based on what I saw from behind the curtain.

Huge portions! Great value. I had a craving for sushi and saw there was a new casual Japanese restaurant in Dublin with great reviews so wanted to check it out. They have a broad range on their menu, from your classic sushi and bento boxes to udon and yakitori. I even spotted spicy tuna nachos on their menu (will try that next time). The menu had all my Japanese favorites in one spot, like takoyaki and katsu curry.I tried the Hamachi kama (~$17), the Halloween roll (~$15), beef teriyaki and CA roll combination dinner (~$18). The yellowtail collar came out fairly quickly (normally it takes 20 mins) so my guess is that they pre-broil it and torch it upon order for speedier service. I thought everything tasted decent. Its not a fancy place so I wasnt expecting anything to wow me. Id definitely eat here again.Another bonus is that the restaurant is super clean and service was friendly. There was no wait and the food came out fast. A great spot to go to for a quick and filling meal!

Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurant around this area. Good service, nice food and unbeatable price. All servers are super nice, even with mask on, you can see their smiles through their eyes!My only suggestion for tendon is, if sauce can come on the side.I will be back for sure

Nice, clean and beautiful Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious, but might need pay attention on raw fish; they might not be the most fresh.

Finally a good Japanese curry restaurant in Dublin. This place is right behind Los Pericos. There is no sign there yet. People seemed to know about it and just a few minutes before I ordered, the line was out the door. We got Katsu curry for the kiddos, wife got the maipao tufo curry and I got the thin pork curry. They were all delicious. I will come again.
