Naked Fish Millbrae
979 Broadway #100, Millbrae, CA 94030, United States
Of Millbrae Japanese restaurants this is the mostreasonably priced onefor great tasting bentos! Although chef isn’t Japanese, I don’t mind. Love this place; great strip mall parking. Trust me;tried all J restaurants in area;hip atmosphere, excellent service by sweet waitress, inexpensive bentos make this my favorite J restaurant in Millbrae.
Hana Izumi Japanese Kaiseki Food
293 El Camino Real, Millbrae, CA 94030, United States
We had both kaiseki and sashimi lunch. The waitress Lunar was so attentive and nice to our 14 mo son.I’d definitely recommend this place for someone who’s looking for a legit Japanese restaurant:)
Sushi Kei
407 Broadway, Millbrae, CA 94030, United States
Good sushi/sashimi prepared by a nice expert Japanese sushi/sashimi chef. This place is authentic; I’m not picky;my sushi/Sashimi doesn’t have to be prepared by a Japanese chef(although some think that makes it more authentic).. As long as the sushi/sashimi is DELICIOUS/REASONABLYpriced;took off a star because Sushi Kei’s food is pricier than other 2 Japanese restaurants in downtown Millbrae. 3 item Bento with delicious California roll/mixed tempura/ teriyaki which comes with miso soup/salad and I’m good!If having a Japanese chef is important to U, then this is THE place to go in Millbrae and U pay more for it. It doesn’t matter to me as long as food is good/priced reasonably.Naked Fisharound corner doesn’t have a Japanese chef but their sushi/sashimi is more reasonable. All 3 downtown Millbrae Japanese restaurants have delicious 3 item bento boxes! Try all of em; all delicious!!Only took off star because it’s slightly higher priced than 2 other nearby Japanese restaurants.

Very cute to-go place. Perfect for a quick lunch pick up especially if you work in South City. I got the unagi with egg (savory with a hint of sweetness) and takoyaki which were both hot and fresh! I want to try the fruit sando and pork sando next time.I purchased it at the Kei Sushi location.

Great selection, really welcoming and kind staff. They were happy to answer any question, and their engagement definitely helped me spend more money. ? Lots of premium meats at reassuringly stratospheric prices, some also very good quality meats at more decent prices. I purchased a few dry aged ribeyes that were pre-packaged for sous vide, seasoned with salt pepper and rosemary and packed with a little rendered wagyu fat they made themselves. That was just insanely tasty - just the perfect amount of aged-beef funk. Also got some heritage pork chops and a smoked ham. The ham almost stole the show from the turkey at Thanksgiving dinner; it was excellent. The only thing holding back a fifth star is that the cattle seems to come from feedlots; I'm a stickler for humanely raised meat and none of the beef was certified. The butcher I spoke to was uncertain about the meat's origin beyond it being “from Omaha” which doesn't tell you much. The lamb is prominently advertised as certified humane, and the pork is heritage breed so I'm assuming it is likely humanely raised (but again, no certification so maybe someone figured out how to stuff Berkshire pigs into cement barns without them dying). Add some certified humane options for the animals that don't currently offer it and this place is otherwise absolutely a class act, five stars. I don't think it is too much to ask for meat that's getting up above $40 or even $50 per lb.
SESE WEDDING All inclusive wedding service store
317 El Camino Real, Millbrae, CA 94030, United States
We chose SESE wedding for our pre-wedding photoshoot and as our wedding planner. For the photoshoot, the process was very simple and very well communicated. Outfits are included in the package and we were able to select three venues from a large list (we chose SF city hall, Japanese Tea Garden, and Ocean beach - SF). There were so many examples from previous photoshoots so that we knew what kind of pictures / backgrounds wed be getting so that we were able to make a confident decision on which venues we wanted. On the day of, they took care of everything and the photos turned out very professional-looking. Our makeup artist was very thorough and made sure we looked our very best that day, all throughout the day.For wedding planning, the different packages were very well listed out and comprehensive. Between the wedding planner and the restaurant we selected, we were able to take care of the large majority of our wedding planning. I look forward to working with them on our special day!
Flame BBQ
1621 El Camino Real, Millbrae, CA 94030, United States
Northeastern certified barbecue??? is definitely the most authentic treasure barbecue restaurant in the Bay Area! ! ! I announced that this is the number one barbecue in the Bay Area in my opinion. By the way, they also have Japanese skewers which are also very special. You can order them without any surprises. The boss is a warm and generous Northeasterner who wants to eat the taste of his hometown. Hurry up and check in☺️
