The Hungry Ninja Chatsworth Japanese Restutant
21032 Devonshire St # 101, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
I've been living in chatsworth for 4 years now and I never heard of this place until it got recommended to me by a family member who just went for the 1st time yesterday. I ordered the rice cakes and the sweet & spicy fried chicken and man the chicken did not disappoint. It was juicy, crispy, and so flavorful!! Some of the best I've ever had. On top of the amazing food was the amazing service the man who I think is the owner is one of the nicest people you'll probably ever come across he was very helpful over the phone and when I went in to grab my order he made sure everything looked good. 10/10 overall I will definitely be coming back and anyone who's reading this review I highly suggest you come and try the food.

Not sure what has been happening the last couple of months but there has clearly been a drastic change in management. I frequent here many times a month for my office! In my last 5 visits, Ive called ahead, given an estimated time for pickup and get there to find out the order is never ready. Mind you, Ive always given an extra 10-15 minutes before picking up to be safe. 3 times I had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes after already waiting 15 minutes from the time i placed my order. During my visits I have witnessed the cook yelling at the cashier for not taking the order correctly and not knowing whos order is whos during a busy time. Cashier was frustrated, chef was frustrated and we all (about 5 of us) waiting to get our order were frustrated. Today was the last straw. I called ahead for 1 bowl, was told 10 minutes, I waited 15 minutes (based on my past experience), get there and they have absolutely no record of my order. Again, chef being very short with both cashiers. Yep, two of them. (probably as frustrated as I was). As I told them I could not wait, I turn around to meet the faces of 2 other customers who have been waiting 20 minutes and more frustrated than I. I refuse to support them until they make some changes and actually make training all the new faces a priority. Once is an accident, twice maybe a fluke but three or more is simply neglect. Everytime I go in there, there is always a new face and clearly always in training mode that isnt going very well. Hope you can make a positive change and take my review with a grain of salt.

Namisen Sushi

Wow! Where do I start? First of all Im certainly a sushi snob and only eat at the best sushi places and not a American roll eater. When I first walked in I was greeted with some awesome smiling Thai faces and sat at the counter. My first concern was there were no Japanese chefs but often foreigners go to Japan and learn to make sushi. In this case they had learned fron a Japanese chef.I started with the Otoro (tuna belly) which was perfect. I mean perfect rice, temperature and fish cut correctly. Next was Hotate (Scallop) which was also excellent. Then Salmon, unagi, and finished with Uni imported from Hokkaido! All were perfect and a nice miso soup. I finished my beer and join in for some sake bombs for the perfect evening. Great food made by happy Thai friends you really cant go wrong. Happy workers, pefect ingredients makes tasty food.Did I mention the excellent service? Everything was perfect for me but another customer complained about his order and the asked nicely if they could make it over? And in about 5 min he had a new dish exactly how he wanted it. I found out later that person is a regular customer but I got the feeling they would do for anyone. Great service, great food, happy people! What could be better?
Teriyaki Plus
3602, 9933 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
Teriyaki Plus is a good little place for a quick bite that isnt typical fast food. The menu offers a large choice of teriyaki plates: chicken, beef, shrimp and fish are served with rice, some tempura and a salad for a reasonable price. This restaurant has been lovingly owned and run by a local Korean family for over 20+ years. they are friendly as are the cooks in the kitchen. They are more than happy to offer suggestions and are accommodating...as are the cooks who have been long-time employees. The food is house made using fresh ingredients. Prices are more than fair. They are closed Sundays.
Enjoy Ramen and Poke Bowls
17815 Chatsworth St # C, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
Good food, bad experience. Came to this place, on food truck night. Three of us ordered food but one of us had a small snack size food from a Korean truck. I bought a build your own poke, a ramen and a pork belly with a side of rice. We asked for permission if we can have the outside food in. The cashier had let us eat it but we have to throw the trash out. We saw the sign which we missed initially. Anyway, my son was already eating halfway of his food when suddenly we noticed the cashier and an old guy at the back arguing. Then the guy told us no outside food and he pointed out the sign rudely. We complied to his rude request because we dont want them to mess with our food, but I was pissed. Poke and the ramen were good(maybe I was hungry). As we were finishing our purchased meal, there was a white couple that left before us and the staff said thank you to them. As we were going to leave, the staff and the guy never bothered to say thank you to us. They were Koreans and were Filipino and Thai. Remind you that there were no confrontation or arguments. We just felt like its our obligation to eat there. I can go to a better poke bowl place with cheaper price than to eat at an over priced poke bowl and be treated like a none paying customer.
Ph Saigon 1

First of all, mostly the food they serve taste delicious & this's one of good places for the Vietnamese who live here, they still can enjoy the familiar homeland flavor,...Nevertheless, the attitude toward the customers, the way they deal with the customers isn't good (I mean in my case, not all). One time my husband & I stopped by for dinner, I ordered beef spicy noodles soup, I get used to eating little red chilli, when we checked out, just like a common suggestion while waiting that “why didn't you guys make a red chilli sauce for your restaurant, it's much spicier than hellapeno”; “the foreigners they prefer hellapeno chilli”, he (cahier - it seems owner's son) said. Oh yes, I agreed w you... Another day I came, he recognized us, he's the one who received our orders & I asked for red chilli along w the food, he said “we didn't have it”, but I know they had bc I ate there many times, they served me w that before, okie, I asked the other then & I got what I needed. What I wanna say here, their business is restaurant & it's product is the best service they try to give the customers, that's supposed to be a place I want to bring my family eat there & introduce to friends instead of wondering if I should come back & starting to compare w the others in an area, here's California, not as the other states have less Asian restaurants.
Hikari Sushi Chatsworth
21230 Devonshire St, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
The place is great the food really is deserving of their price for the all-you-can-eat serving. If each person can eat 3 orders of rolls then the 47$per person (15%gratuity included) is well worth the $$ that you pay.If your not going to be able to eat at least 3 rolls then just buy individual rolls and then take them home. The rolls are prices around 15$ each and although this is on the expensive side. Their serving is quite large. You can expect feeling full after the 2nd roll if your lightweight and 4 rolls if you have a large capacity. An order of shrimp tempura is only 3 pcs. Priced at 7.99 if your ordering eat all you can then grab as many as you can finish. They charge for leftover I believe its 1$ per roll 2$ for fish (sashimi) and 5$ for half a bowl of rice (yes Im not joking 5$ for rice) although I dont know how big the bowl is because we did not order that. The one that we really enjoyed is the ex boyfriend roll this is shrimp tempura and avocado wrapped in crab meat and topped with tuna.We ordered a few rolls with rice (Philly roll and rainbow roll) the rice is so wet i did not really enjoy that.Ordered a deep fried Philly roll that one was ok. Although it was too greasy for my taste. The miso soup taste was ok but it was more on the watered down taste.Overall be more adventurous and you might like some of the rolls you cant find anywhere else.If you have a large party you can order multiple different rolls and taste each one without getting too full.It was only me and my wife so we ended up just trying 5 types of roll and we already got full.I would have given this review a 5 star except for the fact that when I entered the restroom I though I entered a whole different place. There was some mud stuck in the grout of the tiles and dead insects. Feels like it was cleaned weeks ago. For a high end place I was expecting a cleaner restroom its not only the eating area that people will critic in the place. All you can eat 5/5Ordering take out 3/5 (expensive per roll price)Outside and restroom appeal 2/5I hope management can fix the restroom issue and I will edit the star rating to a 5.
Silver Panda
10116 Mason Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
Worst fricken chinese restaurant Ive ever ate at. My family and myself went there and they were short on staff only focused on online orders and not the actual customers that are sat down at their tables. We literally waited for a good 1 hour for just 3 meals! Unbelievable. And then I see all these uber eats drivers coming in to pick up orders and i honestly think that the people in the valley have no idea whats GOOD AUTHENTIC FOOD because I sure wont rate this even a zero from my experience with chinese food! Was so upset at the owner she had the audacity to yell at us when we didnt even complain or anything, we simply asked, is our food coming and she raises her voice like were her employees. We wanted to leave, but we just thought that theyre busy so the food must be worth waiting for. Well, I was very wrong because when the food came out, it was literally drenched watered down all the food taste the same and most likely microwaved frozen premade. Failure of a restuarant and possibly the worst in the valley next to grandma Kims korean restuarant. Go somewhere else if you want good Chinese food.
Belgium Waffle Haus
18100 Chatsworth St E, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
My Father & I went to breakfast here. The atmosphere was nice enough, clean. We ordered 2 different waffle plates. We both did not really enjoy the food. It looked amazing. It looked fresh but the taste of the waffle was like a long frozen waffle it sort of crumbled & flaked in your mouth. It didn't taste fresh or delicious. A big disappointment when you really thought a freshly made waffle would be warm, fluffy, a little doughy inside, a hint of vanilla even but not here, not at The Belgium Waffle Haus. The fruit and other fresh food items looked very fresh but had absolutely no taste. Both my Dad & I looked up at each other after two bites & acknowledged that the food was bland not fresh tasting waffle & the fruit had no flavor. We agreed it looked as it should taste good but didn't. We both decided we would most likely never eat there again. On a better note the tea was delicious. The beverages are good. If you go for a coffee or tea that maybe worth it to sit in a clean chill environment or just sit outside on a nice day. 2 stars for the food & the price ($35 + tip) for two plates and a hot tea & have to order food at counter. 3 stars for good tea and clean relaxing environment.
