Ohgane Korean BBQ Concord
1671 Willow Pass Rd, Concord, CA 94520, United States
Best overall all, all you can eat buffet. Good meat, good service, outstanding price. They change your grill several times while you dine. Wide selection of grilling and not grill items. Limit of 5 items per order, however you can order as many time as you like. Some dishes are so large they require a minimum of two person in the buffet to order. The franken cut short ribs is one of there dishes. It comes with 5 to 6 pieces, thickly cut.2 or 3 pieces is considered an entree at other Korean restaurants. Expect to wait for a grill as many others know this one of the best deals for all you can eat korean.

Gen Korean BBQ House

We spent a nice time in Huricane Harbor in Concord and decided to get a dinner at Gen Korean BBQ. We waited for 20 min in area without AC. When we was invited to a table, we found dirty table with side dishes that looks like left overs from previous customers. Also, water cups were dirty as well. I am so disappointed with this restaurant. We dont recommend it at all. Itakes our day bad :-(.

Plus 82 korean bbq

The staff here are very friendly but the last three jumbo plates I ordered here were different in price and selection. Seems that not all the staff knows what is considered three items. Some Ive gotten 2 items and some Ive gotten 3. Not heres the big ? mark. Of the three jumbo plates I ordered. Ive been charged $17+, $21+ and the shocker was $28+... I didnt want to make a big issue of so I just let it slide. Im not saying the food bad or the staff are bad, I think they are not all on the same page thats all ...

Shout out to those who love Korean food! Great restaurant experience for anyone who loves salty, spicy, sweet, saucy, umami bombs left and right and trying to practice Korean with the workers. I usually go for the Bibimbap or Haemul pajeon cause I love the crispy rice that forms at the bottom of the stone pot, but not this time. Galbi Jjim was the star of our lunch. Braised short ribs that were braised in a deep, rich, soy sauce with radishes, onions, carrots, and potato starch noodles. What more can I say? Its the Korean version of French burguignon but with short ribs that fall off the bone type of action. We also enjoyed the crispy, shredded potato pajeon filled with egg and cheese, rice cake and light drizzle of teriyaki/mayo sauce, absolutely robust. It was paired with a gochujang crème Fraîche which was not necessary yet it was enjoyable. I suggest ending the meal with hot barley tea. You will be glad you did just as my friends and I did.

Big Bang Boba & Chicken-Concord
4383 Clayton Rd, Concord, CA 94521, United States
The Best thing about this place is the Boba. Excellent Boba. The inside is rather nice, and staff is friendly. The Chicken and Octopus Balls not up to par. Much better chicken in Concord with the same or similar flavors, especially for the price. Octopus Balls had zero flavor and just tasted like mush. The chicken was over breaded and the flavors arent memorable.Went back to try again, because its a nice little place with a very cute atmosphere and great Boba selection. This time I got the Spicy Fries which is just a little schezwan powder sprinkled on top, not spicy at all. None the less the fries are soft and fluffy and go well with any Boba. The Japanese Potato Croquette was the real winner here. Very crunchy outside, delicate potato interior with a sauce poured over half the top which I couldnt taste over the hot temperature of the potato and its breading, but it looks fabulous. The Cheese Corn Dog was disappointing because it looks and tastes so appetizing on the outside, but when you eat it only have the corn dog is actual hot dog and the other have is mozzarella cheese. So it doesnt eat very well in my opinion, if the cheese and hotdog were combined throughout I think it would be better or just have all interior being just hotdog or just cheese. Again, the breading was delicious and everything is visually appealing.Watermelon Lychee for their most refreshing Boba on the menu!! Delicious!!

Browsing places to eat on yelp and this place popped up. The pictures of the food looked too good to be true so I knew I had to check this place out. Yesterday I finally had the chance and and this place delivered on quality, price, and most importantly the taste.I brought my son, who can be a picky eater, and we were both blown away. The food was prepared immediately after ordering and was ready quite quick. My son ordered the katsu burger and devoured it so quick. He really enjoyed the yellow sauce that I can best describe as a house made honey mustard, I tried it and also like it quite a bit.I had the fire burger and was surprised that it had a nice level of heat. I love spicy stuff and most places disappoint with the heat. My first bite caught me off guard, not because it was too spicy but it was more than I was expecting. I feel it was just right and with the amount of guacamole it helps balance it all out. I also enjoyed the burger itself, my favorite part is that it tasted like it was flame grilled. The garlic fries was also a hit with the both of us. It had fresh garlic and herbs and was not over powering. Had a perfect garlic flavor and they were still crispy. We both agreed we will be visiting this place again soon. I will be waiting for the volcano chicken burger and my son plans on the crispy chicken burger. But I am sure I will be back enough to make sure I try everything on the menu.

Fresh Tray
2035 Salvio St, Concord, CA 94520, United States
Nice Korean-family owned clean restaurant with friendly service. But, be warned that they make everything fresh and dont keep chicken under a heat map so expect to wait about 10 minutes for your order. The menu here are like In-N-Out, few items but very clear on what they serve. The chicken here are the starts and its amazing. The fried Chicken Sandwich (at $5.25 is a bargain) was tender and juicy. The fried chicken drumstick (and fried chicken wings) was done to perfection and not overly crisp or hard from over frying. The flavor was spot on.. not too powerful but enough to bring out the taste.Their fries and onion rings are standard food service quality but they were cooked just right. But, the sauces seemed out of place as they were on the watery side, so getting this on the burger aint happening, and dipping fries or onion rings just made it soggy (they do have the regular ketchup and ranch sauce).Although this is a fried chicken place, I think serving some vegetables will enhance the dining experience, perhaps roast corn, green beans, fresh coleslaw or even some Kimchi.
