Bart Grocery
108 Los Olivos Ave, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
While Barts is basically a neighborhood mom and pop convenience store, they have a Korean takeout area that you can order Korean food that is better than some sit down Korean restaurants. Portions and quality are great for what they charge.Located up the street from the Daly City BART station. Although there is no metered street parking, parking can be tricky because the store is in a residential neighborhood.I have gone out of my way to drive here to get my Korean food fix. My trio of sure bets are Kim Chee Fried Rice, Bibimbap or Spicy Pork.
Tofu and BBQ House
2350 Junipero Serra Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
I always eat korean food because I am a traditional Korean at heart. I have dined at every korean restaurants in Dallas, TX and I was visiting SF and this restaurant because some of the other korean restaurants in SF were closed on Tuesday I find odd time to be closed during the business week! This restaurant has NO environment just a building that serves korean food. The question is, was it good??? I say IT IS NOT the best korean restaurant in SaF that I've tried.I've tried Wooden Charcoal Korean Village BBQ in SF is one of the tastiest and I really enjoyed their concept of charcoal bbq. One thing to keep in mind is that the charcoal gets VERY HOT so be careful while grilling your meats.I live in Dallas, TX and the VERY BEST TRADITIONAL KOREAN RESTAURANTS are in Dallas, TX!!!!!In Dallas they have ALL YOU CAN EAT KOREAN BBQ!!!!!!! Heaven on earth!! And in Dallas they do not charge you extra if you request for more rice and more sides like they do in San Francisco!! Lame!
Seapot Daly City
383 Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
I had a great time at Seapot Daly City CA, a restaurant that offers both hot pot and Korean BBQ. The place is spacious, clean, and modern, with a rotating conveyor belt that brings you a variety of ingredients for your hot pot. You can choose from nine different soup bases, such as spicy miso, tom yum, or healthy herb. The soup was flavorful and rich, and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. I especially liked the beef toro, the fish cake, and the crab legs. The Korean BBQ was also delicious, with tender and juicy meat that you can grill on your own table. They have a good selection of meat, such as pork belly, beef short ribs, and bulgogi. The meat was well-marinated and seasoned, and came with some side dishes like kimchi and salad. The service was friendly and attentive, and they refilled our drinks and sauces regularly. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. It was $23.99 for lunch (hot pot or bbq) or $28.99 for both. It was $32.99 for dinner (hot pot or bbq) or $37.99 for both. They also have free parking, sports on TV, and private rooms for large groups. I would definitely recommend Seapot Daly City CA to anyone who loves hot pot and Korean BBQ. It was a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
Dae Jang Geum Tofu House
235 Southgate Ave, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
Delicious tofo soup stew with beef, bibimbap, and kimchi fried rice. One of the best Korean restaurants in Daly city and very close to the gas station and Home Depot. Short beef ribs are also highly recommended.
Chick & Jajang
243 Westlake Center, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
Great new addition to the Westlake Mall! Glad to see more Korean restaurants opening up in SF. We came at 12pm and within 10 mins, the restaurant started to fill up. Its not very big so if you want a spot, highly recommend coming before 12:30pm. We ordered the small order of honey and cheese korean fried chicken and their Jjam-Jja-Myeon. The honey and cheese powder was really good. Its cheesy and sweet, almost like the sour cream and cheese ruffle chips. There werent a lot of wings and drumsticks - mostly breast pieces for the small order. :/ The Jjam-jja-myeon was a 3.9/5. I really liked Jjamppong and it had a nice smokey flavor to it. I dont do too well with spice but it was bearable. The jajangmyeon was okay. A bit too salty. Wish the black bean sauce was fried. Service was good and efficient.04.08.2023 | Saturday @12pm

Delicious Korean restaurant tucked inside a Korean supermarket. Fast, friendly service and reasonably priced. Everything we’ve tried is great! Our go-to Korean spot.

City Kebabs & Gyros

Really good food, excellent service. The hummus we had for the starter was good and creatively presented. It was served with very good pita bread that was delivered fresh from the kitchen, still hot, soft and perfectly chewy. The silverware was not only nice but noticeably clean and the table we chose to sit at was prepared for us swiftly and with care, to include the arrangement/setting of the very tasteful flatware. The staff were exceedingly attentive, and even though the place was getting busy, they were REALLY working hard to stay on top of all the orders and keep the pita bread and water and drinks topped off with great timing and care. When the food arrived, it was thoughtfully presented and tasted very good (had the gyro). The baklava was good too and I forgot to save room for the rice pudding or the other gourmet looking deserts available.. It all looked so good.At first, I thought the prices could have been a little lower. But theyre definitely not worse than anything downtown. And when you realize how good the food and service is, you realize that you dont mind paying a little bit more than some other place because the attention to detail is just that good here.Definitely worth the trip, if you like good people and good food. Stop reading and go now. This is one great little family business that earned our support and our business and is definitely already a new loan favorite. So glad theyre here!
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - DC
6893 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
Its one of my go-to places for Hawaiian BBQ. Depending on the time of day, it can get pretty busy, but the store is always clean and ready for the next wave of customers. Simply decorated, and they always have the hawaiian music going. The people who work there always have a smile on their face and are always happy to help.My go-to dishes are:Garlic shrimp - messy but onoliciousSpam musubi - standard stapleFrench fries - something about it just always hits the spotBeef sandwich - definitely worth a tryChicken katsu bowl - one of my go-tos. I love broccoli with crunchy chicken katsuSpam saimin - always good on a cold or rainy dayLoco moco - you can not forget this as well. There are so many favorites to choose from that I can never leave with just one.
