One of the best Korean Restaurants in Northern California. The best Korean Restaurant in my opinion is OHanas on Maui
Han Yang Korean Bar-B-Q
22365 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94541, United States
Good Korean BBQ at a good price. I have been patronizing this restaurant for 15 years. I have eaten at other Korean restaurants in the Bay Area but keep coming back to Han Yang.
The Sisters House

Hands down THE BEST KOREAN FOOD!!! Amazing service as well, but the FOOOOOODDDD is the absolute best!! My go-to is the Galbi and Gogi Soondubu special!! Its delicious with a beer or some rice wine after a hard days work! The Japchae and Spicy Rice Cakes are delicious as well as the Seafood Pancake!!! I have been to a bunch of different Korean restaurants all over California; Oakland, Fremont, San Jose, LA, Dublin and other Korean restaurants in Hayward...... this place definitely has them beat by a mile!!!!! I am a total regular!!!!!
Volcano Island

Delicious Korean food. Just wish they sell alacarte on bbq item such as kalbi & buloggi. And also need to offer more side dish like other Korean restaurants.
Bobjip

I heard that there was a kimbap restaurant in Hayward, so I ordered it, and the menu was very diverse other than kimbap. You can receive your food by asking at the counter when picking up your order or scanning the order screen on the tablet PC next to the counter.I had vegetable kimbap and chicken gangjeong, and both were delicious! In particular, the chicken gangjeong is delicious because it is seasoned entirely in Korean style and the meat is soft. Its sprinkled with peanuts, so people with allergies may need to request it separately. There is also a small space where you can sit and eat at the store pickup stand.

El Rey Del Taco
2613 Oliver Dr, Hayward, CA 94545, United States
The king of the taco (El Rey del Taco) has arrived in town! Just a hop and skip away from la casa de mis padres, this is sure to be my go to spot whenever Im in the area. The run down strip mall El Rey del Taco is located in has definitely seen better days, but dont let this deter you! As a matter of fact, as long as I can remember, this area has always been in the same condition, and it creates more of an authentic hole in the wall feel instead of being too posh.In addition to El Rey, the popular Volcano Island Korean restaurant a few doors down is also a local favorite. Both of these establishments combine to create a rather solid culinary destination in this otherwise non-descript plaza. Furthermore, Lai Young has been an institution for many decades for frozen dumplings and potstickers. As far as El Rey goes, I have so far only sampled the meat platters, and I must say I have been quite impressed! Whichever you choose, whether its carne asada, pollo, carnitas, etc., portions are absolutely massive! All are extremely fresh and flavorful to boot.Service is polite, but not chatty, and very efficient. There is no indoor seating, as the shop itself is quite tiny inside, but there is a very cute parklet in the lot with room for perhaps ten guests or so.The DIY salsa bar is ample with fresh ingredients, although everything is very exposed when the lid is open, so do be aware of this if it is a concern.Im always quite excited to return to my old stomping grounds because because there is a plethora of dining options all within walking distance. With that said, in a very short amount of time, El Rey has lived up to its namesake, rapidly ascending to become the new king of the neighborhood! I now have yet another reason to come back for a visit.
East Bay Eats
1025 A St, Hayward, CA 94541, United States
Didar Persian Food, nestled within East Bay Eats, offers a refreshing twist from Haywards usual dining scene. My recent experience tasting their Zershk Polo and Combo Kabob left me thoroughly impressed. The Zershk Polos saffron infused rice and tangy barberries burst with flavor, while the Combo Kabob featured perfectly grilled beef and chicken. You get 2 skewers and 2 grilled tomatoes. They also provide fresh herbs, bread, and a delightful dessert. Didars dedication to freshness and authenticity is unmistakable. This culinary gem really ramps up Haywards dining scene. I would recommend this to anyone who is craving exquisite flavors of Persian cuisine. It's a MUST try!
Sector 19Craft Eatery
22380 Foothill Blvd, Hayward, CA 94541, United States
Can I just start by saying, I am SO happy I went with Sector 19. Heres the breakdown of my experience:Event: My (turning) 10 year old daughters birthday with 15 boys and girls.Staff: Nick and Carlo responded to emails same day, even late night. Their communication was clear, accommodating, friendly and professional. Couldnt have hoped for better.Food: Oh my God..why is the food so good here? I would and will come here just to eat. Great food, great drinks, laser tag and arcade games?? Sounds like the perfect Saturday to me.Setting: The laser tag area is so much fun. Im giving some very serious thought to having 10-15 of us friends do this one weekend day. The kids had a blast. There were places to hide, theres a black light effect, the equipment was easy to use and put on. It was amazing. Good amount of room as well.Cost: Extremely reasonable given what you get in return. I was shocked by how much fun we had, for how long, and what we paid at the end.I will absolutely be coming back here again. I really hope you get to hold an event or just come here to have a blast. Its well worth it.
