Flame Broiler

This place is so simple, yet so delicious! They have a great choice in sizes as well. I recently discovered this place, and have been coming back since. I have tried all of their meats and the tofu, which are all cooked to perfection and have great flavor. The organic tofu is firm and has great flavor as well. I feel good after eating here since none of their food is fried. This is a delicious healthier alternative. The food is filling but does not make you have a “food comma”. I recommend adding kimchi and avocado to your order as it definitely completes the meal. Their sauces are so tasty! My favorite ones are the Magic Sauce and the Triple Hot Sauce. I recommend this place to everyone! Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

This is an amazing restaurant! I was so surprised at the quality of food and the authenticity of the cuisine choices offered. Being a lover of Korean Cuisine I was thrilled when I saw they offered Kimchee Stew on the menu..mind blown! This was delicious and the other dishes we ordered were delicious as well...totally reccomend!

I was very excited to try this restaurant, even though reviews have been mixed. My husband and I, along with two other couples, had a reservation on a Saturday at 5:00 pm. It was empty with exception of maybe two tables. It was bright (almost too bright as sun was in our eyes) and appeared clean, but nothing fancy or remarkable. They do not serve liquor. Only beer and pretty good list of wine. One beer that was ordered came out not cold. We did ask for three separate checks up front. The server, Sylvia, seemed pretty attentive at first, but that did not last long. We had to ask for everything at least twice. After a little too long of a wait, one entree was brought out. Korean BBQ Beef Skewers. After another seemingly long wait, one persons Rainbow Roll came out. Upon looking around the restaurant, most tables were full AND had already gotten all of their food. We asked the server that brought the Rainbow Roll if it was going to take as long for the remaining food to come out. He gave some explanation about having a kitchen and the Sushi Bar? Two bowls finally came out, but my husband and I were still waiting for our sushi order. By this time, our friend who was served first was finished with his meal. We flagged our server numerous times for water, extra sauce, etc. and to question where the rest of the food was. She did not offer any explanation. Finally, one Philly Roll came, but we asked for tuna instead of salmon. It was salmon. She took it back and return a bit later and put it in the middle of the table like she was doing us a favor. Finally, the three items we ordered came out slowly, one by one. Everyone was about finished at this point. One of our rolls had the purple rice. It wasn’t too bad on the Salmon Skin Roll, one person ordered another roll after we received our order and it came with the purple rice (which does clearly state on the menu). It did not go with the Spicy Tuna Roll. I would not recommend the purple rice. The sushi and kabobs were good. The bowls were exorbitantly high for what you got. Very disappointing experience overall. I hesitantly gave three stars for the sushi and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
The Cantina Kitchen Bar at El Dorado Polo Club
50-950 Madison St, Indio, CA 92201, United States
Such a fun patio and the food is amazing. We had great margaritas and sangria. We tried the chips and Trio of dips (guacamole, salsa, queso), it was plenty for four people. The Fish taco is great. Perfect, light, crunchy, breading, fried and served hot with a wonderful sauce. Another in our party had the lobster salad and raved about it all the way home. There is an inside bar and seating area too. The view from the patio of the beautiful polo fields is incredible. We can't say enough about the amazing service. So attentive and happy. It was great dining here and we would highly recommend giving them a try.

Overpriced. No Korean side dishes in a restaurant that offers some Korean dishes.

Locals go nuts over this place, and IMO it was a bit overhyped. I was told to order the Philly Steak with extra cheese, and while it was definitely cheesy, the whole thing just tasted kinda bland. No real extraordinary flavor. I also ordered the Chicken Hawaiian which I thought was also bland.Ordering the large 16” just means two of the regular ones. It's ~$8-10 for the regular sized sandwiches and 2x the amount for the large. There are lots of items on the menu, but the two I chose were average. The place didn't decorate too much on the inside, but the soda is easily accessible to accommodate as many refills as you'd like. There are also restrooms for customers which was nice.I probably won't be returning. That place wasn't worth the price—the food just simply tasted bland but filling.
GRACELAND FIL-ASIAN MARKET
82590 CA-111 STE 203, Indio, CA 92201, United States
I have been shopping at this store for years. I make it a point to support local businesses but I am disappointed. I attempted to visit the store this past Saturday to purchase some specialty items that are specific to a Filipino store. The store was closed with no sign to state why. I visited this store the day before on Friday and no sign posted that they would be closed on Saturday. I asked the nearby restaurant (Alkobar Grill) if they had any information and all they could tell me is that they have inconsistent hours. I called the store today to ask what happened with Saturday and the owner said I dont know. Remember that customers are always first.I will give them another chance but I may have to support the Fil Am Market in Cathedral City instead.
Sushi ON - An Authentic Japanese Sushi Bar & Re...
44100 Jefferson St C307, Indio, CA 92201, United States
Since the pandemic, we don't dine out. We decided to order online twice from this establishment since they claim to offer curbside pickup. Paid for food on Website, it was super convenient as we wouldn't be required to go inside. They tell us when to pick up order. We arrive to pickup up our order, on both occasions we parked at designated curbside spot in front of the restaurant entrance, hard to not see parked car when person is at the entrance podium. We called so many times in a period of 10 minutes. They don't answer the phone. On both occasions we had to go inside.1st occasion, my husband thanked the sushi chef since we were already inside & tipped at the sushi bar. We didn't tip the second time we had to walk in to get our food. Answering the phone isn't hard when it's ringing off & on for 10 mins. Taking food out Curbside is easier than waiting a table.I was a food server through my 20's in college in west LA, which wasn't too long ago. My good service earned me great tips & gave the restaurant I worked for a favorable reputation. I'm tired of servers feeling entitled to tips for showing up to work. I see it's become a trend on social media to put customers on blast for not tipping 20% or more. Servers Say customers tips are a must and to not dine out if they are broke. We can certainly afford to tip if service is great. The only person that deserves a tip at this place is the sushi chef as long as they don't split tips, I'd only tip the chef. I'm glad I record everything for tiktok and IG.
