I used to love this flame broiler. Food was excellent. Rubi and Nicole always gave excellent customer service!! I went in today ordered 6 bowls. I saw the cook mess up one of my bowls and scoop out the beef with his bare hand. He than added chicken and left it on the side.. I received my order correct but than went and ordered another bowl. The cashier grabbed the old bowl they left on the side(sat there for 10/15mins) added onions and tried to give it to me. I of course asked him to make me a fresh one which he did. Its just upsetting because before I never had an issue when ordering.

The food was good the place is clean. The cashier was a little awkward but thats to be expected free kid holding down his first job I suppose. The whole thing took less than 20 minutes from the moment we ordered the moment we got back in the car. I do recommend this Flame Broiler. But me my wife and kids just love teriyaki balls like that so check it out anyways.:-)

Coming back from my childs therapy I always order a bowl with all white meat meaning nothing else but clean white meat for him to have lunch but today was the 4 time my meat was hard and some of it had lots of mushy fat on it. I call and ask if I can save it to take it well the answer is NO I cannot ask my child teacher to dig it from the trash just so I can drive 12 miles and take it back. I dont like to complain but hey I would like to get the food i paid for.

This hole in the wall Korean teriyaki grill place is amazing! The portions and nice and big and the meat is so well cut and cooked. It is fresh and all three sauces (two spicy sauces and one teriyaki sauce) are absolutely delicious. The people were very kind and the food was delicious.I had the Genki Bowl, which includes 2 meats, rice, and veggies, for only $7.80! Where else in Orange County can you get a good, healthy, filling meal for that price?!I chose the spicy pork and the beef, which are cooked Korean BBQ-style and it was delicious.Also, there was no upcharge for brown rice.My total came out to $10.33 with a large drink, including tax.

Great place for lunch during work. The food is pretty healthy overall as long as you dont indulge too much on the sause they offer. I like this flame broiler cuz they seem to clean the grill.more often so the beef doesnt come out with burnt pieces. Great location too, with ample parking. Despite all the office buildings nearby and hospital, there is hardly any wait. The food comes out really quickly!

Definitely the best sushi in northern OC, probably all of OC. This is an actual Japanese sushi restaurant. Not the Korean-style sushi you usually find. It is small and the service is excellent. The omakase has been amazing every time Ive had it.

I live in Idyllwild and Mile High Cafe really really cares about their patrons. The food is always great and fresh, you can get a fabulous home cooked meal yet they have some wonderful Korean dishes that are the BEST! The service is excellent run by a Mom and her son, they are the only ones in town that offer fresh sushi and Poke Bowls. But you must make a reservation for those days, thats how popular this wonderful restaurant is. Its our go to spot in Idyllwild when I have guests in town that want a wonderfully cooked fresh meal. Not only, they are one of the only ones in town that have a generator when the power goes out in our town. I cannot even recommend one dish as all of our meals have been fantastic!

Nice team running the restaurant however the mild ramen we ordered is INSTANT ramen (they added two small pieces of fresh cabbage to it) and they forgot our gyoza (yet charged for it - since we got takeout, I didnt check we got everything before leaving the restaurant). We ordered two rolls which were okay, ramen, green beans (swimming in grease and many pieces were burnt), tempura, and gyoza (which was forgotten about). Everything wouldve been acceptable but to use instant ramen on a restaurant menu is pretty low. Please tell all your Korean friends who run Japanese restaurants to never do this - youre only perpetuating the belief that Koreans cant do Japanese food.
