Noodles Fresh El Cerrito CA.Chinese Cuisine
10042 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
My family quite enjoys this place, and I got to go with them recently for my first time recently and I also enjoyed it. They have a good number of items that are vegetarian and can be made vegan, and also a good number of items that can be made gluten-free. There is a small subset of these that can be both vegan and gluten-free, which made me happy. One of these was the Vegetarian Stir-Fry Noodles, which I got. It was good, though, perhaps a bit bland. Maybe it was a misunderstanding with our server, because she said that the dish normally comes medium-spicy, and I said I was fine with medium-spicy, but there was zero spice to it at all, like they had omitted the chilis for some reason. Oh well ... nothing a little Sriracha (which they have) cant fix.Lots of options for noodle stir-frys, noodle soup bowls, and rice dishes. A little bit of something for everyone. Even a nice list of appetizers, too.Service was good, and our servers were attentive enough. I would come here again.
Monora Thai Cerritos
11448 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
One of my most favorite places to go for LARD NA, Crying Tiger and Thai Boat Noodles !!WHY?? Because its authentic, fairly priced and I dont have to drive all the way to Hollywood or Monterey Park to have a good meal when theres MONORA THAI right here in Cerritos. The parking lot can be a mess at times because this shopping center has some of the best restaurants in town hands down. You might not agree... or maybe you do.. but you wont know until you sit down, relax and eat. :)

Everything was perfect! They showed up exactly on time and were extremely professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and made adjustments to the entire system as necessary. They were quick, friendly and honest. They did not try to sell me any additional products or services which were not needed. I will definitely call them the next time I have issues with my garage door!

Hosanna Oriental Food
10028 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
I traveled from West Oakland to Hosanna, as I wanted to stop by an independent/small East Asian store before braving the grocery chains. I was impressed with the wonderful organisation of this store, and the well-stocked selection, especially considering the panic-buying going on! They have lots of water and canned drinks, as well as canned fishes, instant noodles, uncooked noodles, frozen/refrigerated food & desserts, basic veg, lots of seasonings, and fresh kimchi. When I came by, there was not the normal fresh/frozen meat available, but considering panic-buying I was not surprised. Very kind store-owners, who are an older East Asian couple. Please support your local immigrant businesses, like this one. Thank you Hosanna!

Pasta e Pasta by Allegro
11410 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
Nestled in a corner of the bustling city, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that surpassed all my culinary expectations. This cozy little restaurant had an unassuming exterior, but once inside, it revealed its true charm. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the quick and attentive service, my dining experience at this establishment was nothing short of delightful.Lets dive right into the star of the show - the flavorful Uni Pasta. Bursting with the taste of the ocean, every bite was a symphony of flavors. The fresh and delicate uni (sea urchin) paired perfectly with the al dente pasta, creating a harmonious blend that left me craving for more. The chefs expertise in combining these ingredients was evident, as the dish showcased a perfect balance of umami and creaminess.Speaking of creaminess, the Japanese Style Mentai was a true indulgence for the palate. The creamy mentai sauce draped lovingly over a bed of succulent seafood, creating a tantalizing fusion of flavors. Each bite was an explosion of richness and umami, leaving me in awe of the culinary mastery behind this dish.Despite being a small establishment, the service was prompt and efficient. The staff members were attentive and friendly, ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout my meal. Despite the constant flow of customers, the waitstaff managed to provide quick service without compromising on quality. It was evident that they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about providing a memorable dining experience. The cozy decoration of the restaurant added to the overall charm. The warm color palette, soft lighting, and tasteful decor created an intimate atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the interior design further enhanced the dining experience, making it a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a casual get-together with friends. In conclusion, this restaurant has truly won me over with its exceptional dishes and cozy ambiance. The flavorful Uni Pasta and creamy Japanese Style Mentai were undeniably the highlights of my meal, showcasing the chefs culinary expertise and passion for creating memorable flavors. The small size of the restaurant did not hinder the quality of service, as the attentive staff ensured a smooth and efficient dining experience. If youre looking for a place with incredible flavors and a cozy atmosphere, this restaurant should be at the top of your list.
Roong Jing Jing Thai Specialty
10164 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
A nice little Thai market in El Cerrito, CA. Not too much of selections, but it does have what the family needs/wants. The pre-packed Thai foods are pretty good. We usually get the Northern Thai Pork Laab, I believe they were out by the time we dropped by. This dish contains pork liver. The dessert that we also usually pick up is the Thai cotton cake. During this visit, we picked up the Thai cotton cake, pork laab, flower-shaped cookies & rice crackers w/honey.Update: 04/30/2023We stopped by the restaurant next door today and decided to stop in to see whats left from yesterdays pre-packed food. We managed to pick up some more Thai Cotton Cake, pork laab and a few other snacks. Always a pleasure shopping here. Great service! ?
Yaoya-San
10566 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
My favorite place to go for Japanese grocery (especially hot pot ingredients and eggs), bentos, onigiri, rolls/makimono, side dishes, various sweet and savory buns, breads, desserts, etc… and household items. I've been shopping here for about 15 years and am always amazed at the selection. Now that they took over the adjacent store space that used to be a Japanese dollar store, the shopping experience is even better with the wider aisles and modernized displays for refrigerated and frozen goods. The staff is friendly and helpful. Many are at least bilingual. I also love that most of the people at the register know how to pack the items efficiently into your bags taking weight distribution and whether an item is refrigerated/frozen or not into consideration (like they do in Japan). Lastly Moser Square where Yaoyasan is located has plenty of parking too.
Sushi Gallery
16436 Norwalk Blvd, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
I cant takeSeeing you w/ himCuz I know exactly where youll beIn his gallery. - Gallery, Mario VasquezThis song is, of course, referring to my Albacore Lovers Roll ;P.Happy Hour 5pm - 7:30pmHad to satiate my sushi hunger pains, so I stopped by Sushi Gallery to quell my fishy desires.Heres the lowdown on my HH order-Albacore Lovers Roll $6.99-Albacore is one of my favorite fish to eat. Its sweet & quite healthy, being chockloaded w/ Omega-3s. Albacore Lovers is an apropos name for the roll since it sports albacore on the inside as well as the outside. 8 pieces. Delicious & well-madeShrimp Tempura Hand Roll $2.50-Good size, w/ nice texture coming from the crispy shrimp tempura, cucumber & nori.I alternated between a couple pieces of the Albacore Lovers Roll & the Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll, w/ liberal helpings of the pickled ginger hither & thither. Both to cleanse my palate & because I just love the freaking stuff.Seating is adequate, with semi-private tables & the bar. Theres a flatscreen TV which had the news on & music being piped in overhead. Why only 3 stars? Unfortunately, there was neither a welcome upon arrival or a thank you upon leaving. Im used to sushi spots shouting IRASSHAIMASE!! before even being completely in the door. There were only a few customers eating, so it wasnt because of being busy.I recommend coming to Sushi Gallery during their Happy Hour. I hope the staff can make a more concerted effort to welcome all of their guests, as there are a plethora of sushi alternatives in the area.NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
Bnh M Ba L Vietnamese Sandwich Deli
10174 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, United States
If youre not Vietnamese read this review, because if you are Vietnamese in any way you already know this place is great... Friendly and fast folks working in this small store filled with Vietnamese / Asian snacks, drinks and the main focus is on tasty sandwiches! You know its good food and a great deal because its usually busy but the line moves very quickly. My favorite sandwich is the bacon, which is like a warm char siu /red around the edge of the meat, thick Sliced pork with the fat on it. Ive also had their BBQ char siu pork(red finely shredded pork) sandwich and their BBQ chicken sandwich, which is finely shredded chicken mixed with mild chicken like spices (dark yellow color). Those were both tasty but might not be what you think of as BBQ pork or BBQ chicken because they are so finely shredded. You can ask for the sandwich roll not to be toasted, which if youre eating it in your car I recommend because the crumbs will go everywhere if its toasted. Toasted or not its still a good and full sandwich with plenty of vegetables with the big bonus of having the sandwiches sliced green peppers not being too hot/spicy, unlike most Vietnamese sandwich stores. I havent tried the other sandwiches but the #2 seems very popular and as soon as I try others, I will list them here.A quick note about one of the other pre-made ready to go foods available besides the sandwiches, its their delicious raw young papaya (sliced thin strips) salad, because it is fresh and traditionally made, a very small percentage of humans might be a little bit allergic to the small quantity of natural latex like ingredients that can naturally occur in it. If you feel a tingling in your throat or breathing is affected stop eating it, even though it tastes So delicious.Lastly, I recommend everyone try a sandwich here. There are other food choices in this peppermint tree plaza strip mall but I think this is the best value for your dollar and it tastes delicious!!!
