Nestled in this strip mall with nary the parking space, you find this little noodle shop. It was a Saturday mid day and it was pretty busy. CSUF is nearby so I gather they do brisk business with the college folks.I love the glass window that lets you watch the noodle maker practice his craft. Its amazing to watch how he makes noodles by hand and slices slivers of dough into the pot of boiling water from a couple feet away. The noodles are really good as are the side dishes that you can get. I got the Japanese miso ramen whilst my wife got the more traditional Chinese Spicy beef noodle soup. Ordered a side of cucumber salad. My kids got a seafood noodle bowl and they wanted miso ramen as well.

Wow! I was determined to find other places that had dry noodle in this special style, and was so happy that me and my family found this on yelp! They call this Mazeman, and some of the places I tried, I kept thinking, I wish there was more variety, in case a family member doesn't really eat this style of noodles. Well I don't have to look any further, as this place has plenty to choose from. Not only was there Mazeman, there was Ramen, and even rice bowls!. I'm not quite sure how the service is in this place, but when I took my order the person helping was nice and patient.FoodSo since it was our first time, and they had so many items we decided to try a few different dishes. Had to try the Deluxe Mazeman. Maybe I have never ordered this to go, but it was an awesome experience. There were instructions on the bowl itself on how to get your Mazeman ready to eat. You have to first heat it up, then add the egg they have for you (it's cooked a bit) and mix everything up. Then you add the vinegar provided, enjoy and add some rice in the end to finish all the ingredients. The squid appetizer and the chicken they have is so good as well. The place was in a bit of an unexpected location, but it wasn't too hard to find. It was clean inside and looked modern. I cant wait to come back and try more of the different food that they have. Until next time!

The Classic Cafe

I came to the Classic Cafe in Fullerton today to try their lattes and foods because it has been on my bookmark. They just opened recently and I got to meet the owners today. The owners were so kind to explain each and every drink to me even though I asked a lot of questions.TOP Recommendations:I was recommended to try their sweet blue dreams latte which was the best blue latte drink Ive ever tried. They also suggested that I try their korean triangle kimbaps (seaweed, rice, and protein (tuna or bulgogi-korean marinated beef) inside the kimbap! I love how they also sell korean noodles like ramen, bibimyun (spicy), and buldak (very spicy).I also tried alot of their other drinks like their tea-ades which were non-coffee drinks. I loved how the teas were organic and had flavors of hibiscus, chamomile, lemon, berry, and lychee syrup. I came outside to get fresh air and noticed a beautiful enchanted garden behind the cafe.Huge patio outside with a lo t of seating!!!You actually get to sit outside on their patio and enjoy the pretty decorated flowers and glass stained windows. The interior of the cafe is antique and cozy!! Its something Ive never seen before in Fullerton. Nowadays, a lot of the cafes dont have a cozy feel to it but this cafe was filled with warmth and love. I also got the tuna kimchi kimbap and bulgogi kimbap which was yummy.Next time, Ill try their bulgogi or Caprese panini!! I also noticed that they had alot of other desserts like financiers and pecan pie..which sounded very good as well. As someone who loves taking pictures of food and beautiful cafes, I need to come back here to enjoy their desserts and other drinks as well! Im so glad I stumbled upon this cafe today because their iced lattes (hoji latte, sweet dreams blue latte, and strawberry matcha lattes) were really really delicious!!

I got my sound chicken
1919 W Malvern Ave, Fullerton, CA 92833, United States
Elevating and redefining Korean Fried Chicken? That is what I Got My Sound Chicken vows to do and they actually do deliver it! Theyre a new korean fried chicken shop that opened up Fullerton where they pride themselves in their flavor infusion and take on Korean Fried Chicken without compromising on the quality. Their batter tastes a bit lighter but crispier than other spots that Ive had, and I dont know how they managed to still keep the chicken super juicy. They stand out to me with a couple items on their menu such as Gim Chicken (Seaweed), Caramel Donut, Apple Rice Cakes (Topoki) and more! At first, the name of the establishment may sound silly, but once you head inside, youll see that its perfectly decorated according to its name with old stereos, tuners, records adorned on the wall. They even have a section with Korean traditional seating which I thought was unique. I enjoyed the food and will definitely be back to try more items.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Cross Streets are W. Malvern Ave. and N. Gilbert St.-Located in the same plaza as Target, Barnes & Nobles, Rubios, DPlace Steak and Pasta and more!-Plenty of parking spaces in the plaza|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Bombok - I enjoyed their homemade cereal mix which has a mixture of sweet and savory. It was quite addicting.Half Gim (Seaweed) / Half Original Fried Chicken - I absolutely loved the seaweed fried chicken. Just something about the light yet crispy batter and how they still managed to make the chicken super juicy is what made me want for more. Dont judge it by its dark appearance, if you love seaweed, youll definitely fall in love with this fried chicken. The original was pretty good as well and is a good alternative if youre hesitant to try the seaweed flavor.Apple Dopoki - I was super intrigued as I never had apples in my spicy rice cakes. It added a slight sweetness to the spicy dish. The melted cheese on top was chefs kiss!Poppin Chicken - Their version of popcorn chicken. If you dont have a huge appetite, this is a perfect snack portion for you. I personally would focus on their fried chicken.Mint Mojito (mocktail) - This was my favorite out of the two mocktails that they currently offer. Mint flavor is quite strong and I liked how it wasnt overly sweet.Pineapple Paradise (mocktail) - Pineapple extract with sparkling water. This one is on the sweeter side due to the pineapple extract. It was still a pretty refreshing drink though!

Nothing special and not housemade.- Fried Chicken Bowl with Veggies: Great karaage style chicken that is moist, flavorful, and perfectly crispy.- Chashu Bowl: UH MAY ZING!!! i20 Ramen and Katsu
1941 W Malvern Ave Unit Q, Fullerton, CA 92833, United States
This place is one of the best ramen restaurant in Fullerton. When I walked in, the atmosphere made me captivated. The staff were friendly too! I usually order the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Tonkatsu, and Gyoza. If you kinda want to feel the spicy flavor, I highly recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen. If you order a tonkatsu, they give you a lot, so I usually cant finish it all. Gyoza was also tasty too and they give you the soy sauce with it. Overall, a perfect place to eat your meal! This is probably one of the top five delicious Japanese ramen restaurants in this neighborhood. When you open the door and enter, the atmosphere of the store catches your eye. The staff are also really friendly. I usually order spicy tonkotsu ramen, pork cutlet, and gyoza dumplings, and I recommend them all! There were two types of tonkotsu ramen, spicy and basic. I think the spicy one would be better for Koreans because its spicier. The taste is really delicious! The portion of pork cutlet is large, so one order per person is enough, and the gyoza is served with soy sauce and is very juicy and delicious. I recommend it!
Gaos BBQ & Crab
1390 Fullerton Rd # 102, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
The reason for so many 5-star reviews (Picture 1)First of all, the skewers chef in the kitchen is not Chinese. The way he sprinkles the ingredients seems neither light nor heavy, which makes the food taste extremely salty and spicy, completely losing the balance of barbecue. We ordered the red willow lamb, but all three of us had a sour taste and didnt dare to eat any more. The same goes for the chicken skewers, which had a distinct stale taste. The roasted leeks smell like vegetables with rotten edges that have been stored for several days. They are hard to chew and very dry. It is better to go to some DY tutorials (but scald them in boiling water before roasting...) (Picture 3)The baked potato slices were even more bursting, not at all the crispy texture I imagined. They were soft and full of toppings, making them difficult to swallow (Picture 2)The eggplant is not the garlic grilled eggplant that we are familiar with, but the tajin grilled eggplant that is closer to the Mexican style, sour, spicy and sweet. HahaThe roasted seitan was dry and tough, and the king of kings was just average. The only ones that were acceptable were the veal and lamb kebabs, but there was nothing particularly outstanding about them. The most delicious thing in the whole place was the melon seeds provided for free.
