We had lunch at Fu Niu Tang Noodle Talk.On the positive, the food was very good. Squid with cumin, green onion pancakes, beef In sour broth, and batter-fried fish. All perfectly done, very delicious. Five stars.However...- The music from speakers was so loud you couldnt have a conversation.- No heat in the restaurant. It was in the high 50s (14-15C).- Although dishes were served in porcelain, the water glasses were cheap plastic cups.- We asked for tea. They gave us tea in paper cups with Lipton tea bags. This is one of the cheapest, no-flavor teas possible. It costs at most $0.05 per bag. A few sips and we pushed it away.- The service, well, you get much better service at McDonalds. Waiters barely notice you. They never said a word to us.- There is no menu to hold in your hands. You order by scanning a QR code on your phone. Okay, a low-end restaurant does that to cut costs, but Fu Niu Tang is not low-end: we paid $90 for lunch. The lack of menus is just cheap.All of this happens because the manager simply doesnt care. Waiters arent trained or managed.Noodle Talk is a chain. Weve been several times to Noodle Talk in Los Altos: much better place. If youre in Sunnyvale, drive 12 minutes more to Los Altos for a better restaurant.

Its a Decent size ramen shop in downtown sunnyvale. The street is closed for vehicles, so you need to park on other streets or near the parking structure. We came just after they opened. It is a nice restaurant that also serves alcohol.We ordered clam ramen and tonkotsu ramen. It is a generous portion even though we see it, It looks kind of a small portion. The noodle is cooked nicely and has chewy texture. It comes with charsiu, a whole egg, and an ear mushroom. I like it. The broth is rich. I wish I could finish the whole broth, but it is too rich for me. The spicy one is good, and it is not that spicy for me. The seafood one was light and good. Overall, it was a nice dinner. The service is also good. Our server constantly came by to refill the water.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday and the ordering kiosks reminded me of the way McDonalds has it set up. Lots of dim sum favorites to order, including an option to just get a dozen of each. Each of the entree options has a bunch of ways you can order it - with noodles or rice, different types of noodles, plenty of modifications.The modifications might have been the reason it was so slow though. Although we didnt modify anything, the meals took 20 minutes before we got one of the two, and then the other came about 5 minutes later. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, so it wasnt an issue of order volume.The food came and it was...alright. we ordered duck noodle soup and the curry leg/thigh combo. The meals themselves were very scattered, the soup was akin to a ramen soup with pieces of duck on a plate on the side. The curry was a Singaporean style curry, but one bowl held the meat, and the other had broccoli, carrots, and a tiny bit of rice. It was like we had ordered two or three different dishes that came together, and not a full meal.Taste wise things were ok, but the flavor profile felt pretty toned down. It was like the flavors we expected were there, but they made them in a La Croix style where we got the essence of flavor, and not the full taste of it. We also got an iced coffee that could have been taken from Dunkin - which could be s good or and thing pending your opinion on Dunkin coffee haha. But it wasnt a Vietnamese style iced coffee for sure.Overall the place was decent, and a lot of people might enjoy it. The space is large enough to fit bigger parties and has its own parking lot - just expect to wait for your food.

Best little Ramen noodle house in the Santa Clara peninsula. They use old fashion real ingredients in their soup stock. Believe others use chemicals and tons of who knows what to build up their noodle soup base. Good to see owners take pride in their food. You should also try their stir fried noodles, fried rice, fried chicken and other dishes...pretty much all home made dishes. Notice many locals go their as their spot. So definitely foodies should add this to their list of local comfort food places. btw...discovered they also have a sister Ramen shop in Las Vegas. The food is basically same menu, equallly good and everything home made.

I am a self proclaimed momo connoisseur and have tried many momos across the SF Bay and LA. This is one of my new favorites in the southbay!!! I don't say this often — execution on all items was perfect.FYI This restaurant does serve all halal meat, I confirmed with the front desk, and “halal” is stated on their menu.Food: Momos were juicy and you could tell that they were fresh and handmade. The momo wrapper was not overly thick, chicken was very well seasoned inside with good flavor! I ate the chicken jhol and chili momos. I highly recommend both! The chili mamas were exceptional — The chili sauce surprised me! I loved their sweet and hot sauce on the Chili momos and loved the charred onions and peppers with it. Slight kick to their “spicy” dishes but nothing overpowering or tongue numbing which is hard to find a good balance of! For those wary of spice, Jhol momo had a creamy sesame sauce that I highly enjoyed, very different and refreshing. Chow mein was very good as well, great flavor, noodles were saucy, nice bite to the egg noodles, and I appreciate that they added veggies like cabbage and broccoli to their noodles for texture variety. All items were executed very well and were not overly greasy, overly spicy, or over seasoned. Just perfect! They do offer chili crunch on the side for the adventurous.Service: very attentive, kind, and quick! We were hungry and the food came out within 15min.Ambiance: nice clean restaurant, nepal themed ambiance and decor, they have plenty of space for families, groups, or office lunches.Plenty of free parking in the parking lot.Overall, I will be back again and would love to try more of their items like the lamb momos, chicken lollipop, and lunch thali!

Moo Moo tea is amazing. Their variety of exquisite drinks as well as their fantastic sides make it a place I visit regularly. This is the best boba shop in Sunnyvale. Moreover, it’s placement next to the best dumpling and noodle houses in Sunnyvale makes it evens better as you could get a milk tea to cut down on a heavy and delicious meal. Overall, Moo moo tea (as well as noodle talk and top dumpling ) is a place definitely worth visiting as many times as possible.

Clean, non smelly, previously K Market seems to have encouraged Hankook Market to clean up its aisles and presentation. Baby friendly bathroom and water fountain are not things you usually see at Asian/ethnic markets around here.Mega Mart feels like a Mexican Mercado and Korean Hmart had a baby. They also sell Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. snacks.Would recommend for their candy, snack foods mostly. As always, check expiration dates. They also have a selection of Korean sheet masks and other asian brand cosmetics and feminine hygiene pads (cute cat brand).For produce and other perishables for Korean cooking, while it isnt anywhere near as good as L.A. or Korea, we prefer Hankook Market further down the road.Produce wasnt particularly fresh, and prepared food was pretty terrible for supermarket fare, dont recommend unless you think 7eleven, Nijiyas prepared food is tasty. Gimbap rice was unforgivably wet and mushy.Fried squid was dried rehydrated squid with too much pepper (후추가루), and chicken wings had freezer burn, dry leathery. Some baked goods may look cute, but ratio of cream vs pastry is too much for us. Giant (누네띠네)puff pastry wasnt bad, but didnt taste fresh baked. You should melt your own sugar and add baking soda instead of buying the dalgona (달고나). Fried croquettes and donuts looked less greasy than Paris Baguettes, but not fresh.Rice cakes are pretty much the same as any Korean market (made by same two rice cake factories/bakeries).Gave the much lauded uji time ice cream a try and was disappointed in zero lychee flavor or aroma. It just tasted like a generic soft serve ice cream, very fluffy and milky.Staff was all Mexican, including people prepping food. Tried asking staff if they take fried chicken orders (answer is no), got passed on to three staff before finally someone came out to assist me. Their English was as limited as my Spanish, so if you need assistance, you must speak Spanish.
