Panera Bread
307 Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
I ordered my food at the entrance order kiosk, we sat at a table and our order was called at the end of the restaurant. The pepperoni sandwich was warm, toasted and my son enjoyed it to the max. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and was nice and toasted. They were out of baguette so my tomato soup are out with potato chips. The place could use some cleaning.
Green Leafs

Went here for a light lunch and went with a salad from here. They had a nice selection of greens and toppings to add to to your salad. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. Quality and freshness guaranteed. ??

Burma Silver Star Restaurant

A few years ago, this place was a Burmese restaurant with a different name and I was sad when it closed. Now I’m happy to hear they are back and remodeled. The place looks really homely and nice. The food is really great. The soup noodles tasted like a chicken noodle soup but better! They were also kind enough to substitute noodles for rice for my grandmother who doesn’t like noodles. I definitely will be back!
Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby
32 Park Plaza Dr, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
First time dining at this new sushi restaurant. Service is excellent. We had the No 1 Combo box(served with miso soup and salad) and veggie tacos. Miso soup is flavorful. Sushi is very fresh and tasty. Would recommend!!
Taste Of Burma
2025 Gellert Blvd #200, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
I come from San Francisco to visit this restaurant as often as I can. I dont drive for any other restaurant, and it is well worth the trip. Amazing food, that beats the big name Burmese restaurants in the city in freshness, flavor, portions and price. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The Samusa soup is otherworldly good, with crisp bits of falafel and samusa, and a complex and satisfying base. This dish is matched by the tea leaf salad. Crunchy and lively, they ferment the tea leaves on site. The freshness makes it tastier than any others Ive had. The paratha, the curries, and everything else I have tried is consistently delicious. The owner has just changed the name from Happy Myanmar Cafe. People were passing it up, thinking it was a coffee shop. Same great prices and quality with the same menu. Always people there, but so far no wait to get a table. Get a seat while you can!
Fil-Am Cuisine
66 School St, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
This place is amazing. Had to drop the car off for an oil change next door at lunch time and immediately followed my curiosity and my nose. I got the 2 bbq skewers and rice (I wish I got the pancit since its the same price!) And ten pieces of lumpia and I. Loved. Every. Bite. This place draws you in with the perfect bbq smell for good reason. I got both chicken and pork skewers (one of each) and the chicken was perfectly smokey, almost dry (but still incredibly tasty) and the pork reminded me of Vietnamese pork chops (but smokier!). HUGE portions for the price! The service is standard for literally any Asian cuisine (direct, to the point, Next! What do you want? Anything else?type-dialogue, dont expect any courtesies, just solid, pragmatic, get-in-get-out-you-arent-here-to-chat service), polite enough to get by, and free water in the corner. They sell other dishes and, not being familiar with any of them, asked what some items were, and they honestly looked delicious. Alas, I will have to come back to try it all. The food is displayed out cafeteria style, but dont be fooled, they will grill the bbq the moment you choose it. This dive is a solid win and a new favorite. Whether or not youre in the neighborhood, give this place a try, its worth the portion, taste and price!!!
City Kebabs & Gyros

I’ve been this restaurant many times also they do have great menu and food are amazing my favorite is tribe soup they do every Friday. Most of Turkish restaurants they do not make this special soup. If you haven’t tried yet you’re missing delicious food.
Los Metates
260 San Pedro Rd, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
If youre in a bind ( I mean in the mood for meh Mexican cuisine) and in the Daly City area, Id maybe suggest this place. Their enchilada sauce is tasty but its more tomato-y than anything so with cheese they couldve fooled me into thinking I was eating Italian type foods, even though I was eating a chicken enchilada. I also got the Super Lengua burrito, it was kind of bland, but tasted better with the green tomatillo sauce, the lengua was a bit stringy and kept getting stuck between my teeth ( didnt have that chewy yet melt in your mouth texture that Im used to with lengua ... the best for that, that Ive tried so far is Taqueria el Metate in Belmont), also you get your $$ worth in Belmont, you order a super burrito.. you get this fat log of a burrito... wet burrito... youre in heaven. They make everything fresh there even their chips (I cant say the same for Los Metates, as I witnessed the lady behind the counter dump out some chips from one of those big ass Costco bought tortilla bag o chips. For enchiladas I would drive to Fremont for it (the best melt in your mouth enchiladas I had besides homemade ones from a friend were from Los Cabos in Fremont).Oh and I forgot to mention, I also got an horchata (my favorite drink), you would think that when the lady poured out the horchata from the tub and I could see the layer of sediment at the bottom that their horchata would be pretty thick and creamy.. boo to my dismay it was thin and watery. :(
Bart Grocery
108 Los Olivos Ave, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
I was kinda disappointed with this place. Ive heard a lot of great things about this korean restaurant and it just wasnt up there for me.Their jap chae was good, but its really hard to mess that up so I dont give them that much credit. The kimchi fried rice and bulgogi were also mediocre. I feel that they could have marinated the bulgogi a little better. They both tasted good, but not as great as others claim. Their tofu soup was good but the broth wasnt up to par. Its also spicy for those that are not about that life.I dont think Ill be coming back here. Im a bigger fan of Kukje market and its only 5 minutes away. Bart Grocery does have affordable prices though. They also have very limited seating so be prepared to take it to go!
Wongs Cafe
1111 Hillside Blvd, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
Service: 5/5I did not dine in so I cant speak about that. However, when I called to place an order, the gentleman asked me if I knew where they were located. I thought it was an odd question until I realized he mustve seen my area code and wanted to make sure I had called the right place. I thought it was funny and kind of him. Next, talk about speed. They had my order ready in exactly 20 minutes. Maybe even sooner. They also packed my food well. They couldve crammed everything into one bag but they didnt. They split my order between two bags instead so I could carry it out easily.Food: 4/5The food was pretty good. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Salt & Pepper Pork rice plate, and Hot & Sour Soup. The chow fun had nice wok hei flavor and I liked the bean sprout to noodle ratio. Some might not like all the bean sprouts but I like my veggies and it gives the dish some texture. The pork rice plate was good but a little salty for me. The soup was good but different. Its not the traditional hot and sour soup. Theres tomatoes and carrots in it but it tastes good still. And there is properly sour and spicy! Sometimes restaurants give you a watered down version. Not this restaurant! And to top it all off, the price is good at this place too. All their rice plates are a steal deal. If youre a hungry college student, a full plate of rice and lots of meat will cost about $10. Not bad in my opinion.Parking: 2/5This is the only bad part. Parking is terrible in this area. Especially at night. If youre just picking up, you can park right in front for a few minutes. But if you plan to dine in, be prepared to circle the blocks a few or 10 times. Also, for anyone not local, if you plan to pull into someones driveway to turn around, be careful and pull in veeerry slow. The drive ways arent great here and there are a lot of hills. You may scrap your front bumper and your cars underside if you go too fast.Overall, definitely recomend! Affordable and good food!
