Really good solid korean food. Reminds me so much of the small mom and pop shops located in ktown in LA. The portion size is huuge and soo good. We ordered the gamjatang and it was the best I ever had. The meat was so tender practically falling off the bone and the soup was super flavorful and had so much depth. They added a lot of potatos too which was a surprise! Usually restaurants are pretty stingy with the potatos for this soup. Side dishes especially the radish kimchi complemented the soup so well. The restaurant itself was pretty crowded filled with old korean people - thats when you know this is place is legit. We also ordered the galbitang for takeout and it was sooo goood!

I ordered Bomb Ramen, spicy level Medium. It was not that spicy but taste good. The combination of soup and meat was nice. They use different type of noodle each ramen. That’s thoughtful. I appreciate it.I‘m grateful for the existence of this restaurant because there is no good Asian restaurant nearby.

New favorite seafood spot! Cute little hole in the wall and very clean! The service was amazing and Pablo was a sweetheart and very attentive. We had the prepared oysters they were so fresh! We also had the mojarra that was perfectly fried and not dry and bland like other places. The 7 seas soup was sharing size! And such good flavor! Pablo also brought us fried calamari that had the perfect crispness and the sauce paired with it, chefs kiss! Cant wait to go back and try more things off the menu!

North Fork Deli

SHORT VERSION:Oh, my, this was good. Need a sandwich? Try this place!LONG VERSION:My intent coming in had been to order a Club sandwich, but before I could, the young man behind the counter suggested the tri-tip French Dip they had on special. And just then two of them came out for an earlier customer and I was sold.I got the sweet French roll and passed on the garlic aioli. As Miss Vickie and I have had an intense relationship going for years, I was happy to meet her on their chip rack and share the sandwich experience with her. Sodas are in the can, which is not my favorite way to drink it, but pricing is reasonable and the selection is wide (my Diet Dr Pepper is a mundane choice - they have many varieties and flavors of sodas, juices, and the like). The sandwich was just about perfect. The tri tip was sliced to a proper thickness and cooked tender with absolutely none of the stringiness that tends to happen in these sandwiches. The au jus wasnt the watery restaurant variety, but a creamy, almost soup-like sauce which dipped well, coated the sandwich bites well, and was savory enough I considered using a spoon to slurp up what was left after Id finished. The staff was friendly - not just with me but with every customer who came in or called. And it was busy while I was here! They were outgoing, talkative, and seemed to be enjoying their work. Great job!In a day when a convenience store sandwich will cost you seven bucks or more, $16 for a neat perfect trip tip French dip of decent size is a good deal.My only complaint was atmospheric - the fluorescent bulb above the counter seating I chose was flickering like a strobe light, which was far more annoying than I thought it would be. Odds are itll be fixed before I come back though.I loved it! Eat here!

Lokal Sandwich Burger Bar

Food:Lokal‘a bacon breakfast burritos are absolute FIRE. Omg. It has just the right amount of egg, cheese, potato (not too dry), peppers, bacon, etc.. The tortilla has a littleeee crunch from the grill and doesn't get soggy. The burrito always stays intact which is rare and amazing….. and they are served all day.I also get the Albacore Tuna Melt sometimes which comes on crispy-ish sourdough and is so flavorful, fresh, and absolutely divide. *chefs kiss* Their coffee (I like the cold brew) is awesome as well (and I'm a Starbucks brat).Service: Plus, the staff are so friendly and personable, give you a mom and pop feel. The food comes out SO quickly. They also do take out but again it takes like 2 secs, you may as well order there.Atmosphere: Inside and outside have cute places to sit and eat or study, and it's rarely crowded.Price: That's not even including one of the best parts of Lokal: the REASONABLE PRICES.I come here at LEAST 3x a week and you should too.

One should set expectations when coming to this restaurant. The glass of white wine was goodThe Caesar salad is just lettuce and basic sauce, the aranchini taste was mild. Probably we didnt order the right dishes. The chicken covered with a lot of cheese. The Francaise chicken had a basic taste with very little taste of lemon. The waiters recommendation was not suitable in terms of the main course.Il faut se fixer des attentes en venant dans ce restaurant. The glass of white wine was goodLa salade César est juste de la lettuce et de la sauce de base, le goût de laranchini était doux. Omakase Por Favor
640 Twelve Bridges Dr ST 100, Lincoln, CA 95648, United States
I stepped outside of my comfort zone for dinner at Omakase Por Favor, and found myself confidently swimming in a sea of both familiar and new combinations of flavor.Set in a modern, unassuming space, it's clear in an instant that a lot of thought went into Omakase Por Favor. I commented to my dining partner that even the restroom had distinct and tasteful personality. With a menu that leans into local, seasonal ingredients, Chef Jeana showcases her roots in Mexican cuisine. Every ingredient here serves a thoughtful function, has a role to play for each dish. From the delicate house ponzu that accompanied a bright and flavorful crab hand roll, to the perfectly fried sturgeon skin chicharron on which was served a delightful caviar. When Chef Jeana presented a tuna dish atop a tostada, she admitted that the tuna slices were a bit heavy handed, and I panicked when I saw the thick pieces atop the tostada. Panic turned to bliss when I placed the tuna in my mouth, however, and the tuna melted on my tongue. Chef Jeana described how she broke down this 77-pound creature the day before, and I barely heard a word as I savored the buttery texture. The tostada and cilantro crema were a fine accompaniment to this dish, punctuated by tangy pomegranate arils, but the star was the soft, plentiful tuna. The service was delightful and friendly; the intimate dining room allows for personalized attention from waitstaff who were approachable and clearly passionate about what Omakase is poised to do to the foodie scene in Lincoln and the immediate region. They were excited about the dining experience they provided, and their energy was contagious. The food at Omakase remains grounded, in part due to authentic, local ingredients prepared without ego or hubris. Omakase Por Favor's dishes clearly aim to celebrate food, not its chefs, though they clearly deserve that recognition as well. The concept of omakase is all about trusting the chef and her staff to curate and assemble ingredients into a delicious and memorable meal. Chef Jeana and her crew have definitely proven themselves worthy of that trust, and I will no doubt be back, asking for more, ‘por favor'.

My mom and i came over from wheatland to grab a quick donut and drink for breakfast and let me say: this place is amazing! i got a bearclaw and it was buttery and cinnamony, and my mom loved her sprinkled donut and said the icing was perfect.the drinks were amazing too. i got the blended funky monkey and it was hands down one of the best blended drinks ive ever had, and i drink a lot of coffee! my mom ordered something off-menu, and they were happy to make it for her at her request. she also loved her drink. they were nice and awesome, so if youre looking for a cute place to grab a quick breakfast look no further. i will 100% be coming back for the biscuits and gravy they offer on saturdays.
