Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
1025 Dana Dr, Redding, CA 96003, United States
On entering the establishment, while waiting on the waiter, I was thinking about the building. I was floored by the quality. I entered with my friend Alec. So far my impressions are good. It seems to be the best olive garden I’ve ever been to.We were thinking about getting the Lasagna Fritta, it paired well with the Blue Moon Draft according to the card. The brand new menu looks great! It tells us exactly what drinks pair best. We were very excited about it. Alec decided to go for the Blue Moon Drafts because of the great pairing! We were about to order the Lasagna Fritta! At that point Alec went to the restroom. While he was gone I was thinking about how good the restroom would be. I was expecting great things – I was not disappointed. Alec came back with a big smile and upon asking he told me that the restroom was great – they had nicely smelling things in the urinals. While ordering the waiter was kind, even complimenting us on our choices. She informed us extensively on the soup possibilities and gave her personal recommendation. We ordered, she yelled “You got it!” took the cards and that’s it – That’s how you order at Olive Garden! Then panic struck, the first issue of the night appeared. The table moves approximately .25 inches every time you touch it. The margarita could have spilled. We were no longer feeling the place that much. The Blue Moon arrived. The Blue Moon Draft pairs very well with the Lasagna. There was a larger party behind us, around 20 people, constantly we were kept waiting, I felt like a second hand citizen. I didn’t even get my salad. Is this the best Olive Garden has to offer? I feel like I’m a citizen of Olive garden but I get treated like an Alien.Then.. Unbelievable.. I can’t believe it.. THE FREDO IS OUT. THE FRITS. ITS OVER. Alec bought the pair for the Alfredo and they ran out. The pairing has FAILED. We had to replace it with FRIED MOZZARELLA. THE PAIRING DOES NOT WORK. We wasted this Blue Moon Draft. Then the birthday started behind us. The waiter gave a quick apology ‘sorry guys’, and the singing started! We started clapping along, it was great. It felt like it was my own birthday. The singing was great and at the end we clapped like we never clapped before. The soup was great, meanwhile Alec was talking to the waiter and the other guests seem to have joined the conversation. The soup was great, the salad too. Then the bread sticks.. the bread sticks were great. The evening was saved because.. the new dish paired fine with the Blue Moon Draft! They should add it to the card. I was impressed. Then the main dish, the salmon and broccoli arrived, looks good. Then I found out I have unlimited soups for all of the soups. Five soups, we can eat all of them. I was having a 9 out of 10 experience. I’m not even meme-ing. Impressive. Then I got the managers card. Fantastic meal. Pretty sure I will own this Olive Garden soon. Thanks Carolyn.I ate the salmon too fast, bit on my lip, was bleeding pretty bad. We made friends with the servers and the managers here, not Carolyn, I’ll text her later. The waiters are nice, one wants to become a stand-up comedian, his name is Jordan. So far, best experience so far, best olive garden I have ever been to, maybe the best restaurant I’ve ever been to.Then we sat down in the luxury suite (picture attached!!!). I was sitting exactly where Obama was sitting while looking at the picture of the founder of Olive Garden and his wife.I’m not even joking, this is really good food, this one has it all. Some of the best. Best salmon I’ve ever had. Best soup I’ve ever had. The breadsticks are great. Salat is perfection. Alec is here. Ravioli was great. Not meme-ing, actually super good. This one is really good, right in California.*review written based on vlogs.

Terrible experience! Rude racist staff! This restaurant offers delivery through door dash, I ordered a sandwich and it came completely wrong! I called the staff to let them know, a man answered and said let me hand you to my superior. A female named Kc and the phone and she said well bring it back and well remake it. And I said well that defeates the purpose of me paying a delivery fee. She said well we cant understand those people and their accents when they call. and that next time I should call it in directly. And I said maybe you shouldnt go through the app service then. And she said well its not like we did it on purpose to piss you off. I told her i didnt call to be cursed at or treated badly and ended the conversation. Never ever will I recommend their services and will make sure to tell everyone to not go there.

Not happy that there was no avocado, only guacamole and they didnt even have sour dough bread. Thats like a given! And you cant see what there putting there hands in to see if you want it or not, they need to update with clear glass so you can see what there touching. And although its Redding, no body had masks when I walked in. But its not un common here. And the ladie kept cleaning instead of tending to the customer, I believe she was a manager. Poor customer service.

We stumbled in at 2pm, closing time. Instead of being turned away, we were happily welcomed! After taking a while to decide what to order, as everything looked amazing, I decided on a Super San: Turkey, roast beef, ham, and cheese. The appearence of this sandwich was stunning, filled with yummy meats and fresh produce. The first bite was YUM! Filled with flavor. My girlfriend (happy birthday!) ordered the roast beef sandwich. Hers was just as flavorful and yummy. We ordered a potato salad side and found it to be great and definately worth it. Very quiet, calm, relaxing place to have a date.
Lucky Millers Deli & Market

Ive been here in a few times, so I decided to write a review. This place is truly out of the chart. Every time, every single person you interact with at Lucky Millers are super nice, professional, and they make you feel home and welcomed. The culture and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is simply ridiculous!!! There are a few good burger places in Redding that you can compare to each other but not this one. Lucky Millers is in its own league miles away front of the others. The ingredients are fresh and representing the best quality. The taste of everything Ive tried so far is outstanding. You will find a great balance of sophisticated multi-layered flavors in your meal, a true art of using spices brilliantly. IMO, you only can make food of this quality when you are deeply compassionate and going after excellence . Considering what you get here, the slightly higher prices well worth it. I think, there is some room to improve the place, the restroom and the furniture (a few loose chair legs), de-greasing the tables, but nothing too bad that would negatively affect your experience. If you want the BEST burger in Redding, undoubtedly, this is the place to go!

Great selection of cuts at a great price for some and decent prices for others. My only gripe is that their customer service is great by the workers but not the best in one circumstance by a manager. They had a deal for 30% off a meat cut so I went in and got 2 lbs. of it. When I got home I realized the price was a little high so I double checked the weight and realized they forgot to give the discount. This isn't a big deal since the discount was just emailed out the day before so I totally get maybe some people weren't updated or just forgot to check. However, how it was handled next is what knocked a star off for me.I called the store explaining what happened, they connected me to a manager, and they said come in and get credit or just get another pound of that meat (so I would've evened out either way).So I gotta drive back out there on my lunch break, let them correct the mistake just to be back to even, and make the drive back.I feel like for the inconvenience of making a customer double the trip due to a mistake on your end means you throw something extra in. Nothing big, just something to say “sorry for the extra inconvenience since you had to waste another 35 minutes of your day.” I mean it could've been a $5 rub thrown in for all I care, it's just the principle that counts. It's like if a waiter at a restaurant forgot to put an order in for like 30 extra minutes: yes you still get your meal, but if the delay is significant enough just throw in some free drinks or fries because you've wasted people's time unnecessarily at that point.I've read some other reviews that apparently had the same experience. So yeah overall get your meats here because it's an amazing place still, but just something of note. This review is really only for the business owner's awareness just to let them get a pulse on the customer experience. Once is not a big deal, especially for me, but if this happens every time a mistake is made by the R&R team it might have a greater impact overtime.Edit: Taking another star off. Just went back and the same manager as mentioned above got me a meat selection, wrapped it in butchers paper, and then just handed me the cut with meat juice on the outside of the wrap. Every other time I went AND every other person there at the time got their stuff put in a bag. Second time this manager just handed me the stuff straight with some meat juice on the outside of the wrap and no bag. Also I'm pretty sure they wrapped wearing the same gloves they used to handle the meat, which isn't a big deal if they got it in a bag, but just makes it worse that they didn't. I'm just surprised a butcher shop out of all places would negate this.

So let me say I was expecting a delicious taco from this place considering the prices(over $4)…no flavor on the carnitas tacos. It was juicy but the sauce they even put on top of it, was like I couldn't even taste it. Super weird that there was no flavor to the taco. Then got a half order of the biscuits and gravy, which was 1 biscuit in a pool of watery gravy. My bf said it wasn't good. And it was $6 for one biscuit. Idk but this place is definitely not worth the price. They were nice tho. Just unfortunate that we had this experience with lack of flavor and high prices.

We've been in twice in the past few months. The first time, we got there 10 minutes before closing time and the doors were locked. We knocked on the door and an older Asian woman came over and rudely told us that they were already closed (really, you think?) and tried to shoo us off before turning around to walk away. We had to persist to just ask if we could maybe place an order for take out since we were there before their posted closing time. She said she'd be right back and would ask her kitchen. She came back moments later and said they already closed the kitchen and it wouldn't be possible. Again, continuing her completely wrong attitude. We we super patient and nice and we were treated with disrespect the entire time.We just went back this week after calling in an order. When I went to pick up the order, the older Asian woman at the counter gave me no greeting, did not smile, and simple put my check on the counter and stood there. I gave her my card, she turned around to swipe it, turned back around to put the receipt on the counter for me to sign, then turned her back around and that was it. No greeting, not smile, no acknowledgement, no thank you. Just felt like I was a piece of unwelcomed trash. I don't care how good your food is (and our bbq pork was old, dry and terrible I might add), if you are careless enough as management to put someone like that at the front counter, you're not going to have anyone but airport customers. But I guess it's all about the money for these guys. Shame.
