Panera Bread
470 E Cypress Ave, Redlands, CA 92373, United States
So for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to revisit Panera Bread, well I was wrong! Still slow as f***, only 1 cashier @ 7:30 PM, only 2 pple in front of me but it took 10 mins. Doubt Ill be back unless they start giving away free bagels.First, they only had one cashier and were very busy, with seven pple in front of me it was a long wait on a Thur eve at 7ish. It would be better if they had more staff available.Second, I ordered the pick 2 with a BLTA with no tomato and and a Thai chicken salad with no edame. When I got my order I noticed they forgot the bacon on my sandwich. I notified the server and while she was getting my bacon I focused on my salad with no edame.Thirdly, my Thai chicken salad came loaded with wonton strips. I think the preparer got confused and added double wonton strips instead no edame. As I was eating this not so tasty salad I noticed it had no chicken. But by this point, I had eaten half of it and didnt notice the missing chicken because of the excessive wonton strips. As I started picking the wonton strips out is when I noticed there was no chicken. And by this point I had eaten about half of it and didnt really care for it, the dressing is not to my liking.I was upset that I spent $15 on a meal I couldnt eat. I wont be going back unless its for bagels and cream cheese. And fourth, to top it off, I brought a brownie dessert back home to enjoy later in the eve and it was hard and not very tasty.Lastly, all of the napkin dispensers were empty and the staff were stingy when I asked for extras. It seems to me theyre trying to save money: understaffed and stingy with the paper goods.Imo, they could turn the a/c up a notch or two and save a few bucks. It was so cold I was glad I had a sweater. The penny pinching is starting to show.Unfortunately, its not the Panera bread of the past ?

This quiet little spot is a fun new option in Redlands! My wife and I visited for lunch and were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was prompt and helpful! The spot took over the old Mill Creek BBQ space and theyve attempted to update the decor to match. The remnants of Mill Creek are still evident, but the hanging umbrellas are a nice touch and feel like it ties the space into downtown Redlands. My wife and I were most excited by the Burmese food options, which seem to be tougher to find in the area.We tried the Mohinga soup, the Samosas (Burmese Samosas are different than Indian Samosas), 2 of the sticky rice dessert options, a Falooda (a dessert beverage) and a Crab Meat Poke bowl. All the food was tasty, and it was really fun trying some traditional Burmese food. The Mohinga soup, with fish, tempura, and noodles was rich and full of flavor. The noodles seemed a touch over-cooked, but the dish was tasty. The Samosas were unique, wherein the potato inside was cubed (instead of a mashed consistency like Indian Samosas). The Samosas themselves were a bit bland, but the dipping sauce was very tasty. Additionally the Samosas seemed extra oily. The Crab Meat Poke bowl was tasty and simple. The Falooda was fun to try, and reminded me of a Filipino Halo-Halo beverage. The beverage came in a fun glass and was beautiful to look at, but was quite small considering the price, and that most of it consisted of ice.The Sticky Rice options (Black Sticky Rice & Mango Sticky Rice) were tasty as well. I wished they had more of the coconut/sweet milk, but the texture was good. The Mango was a bit underripe, but still a nice combination with the rice. The one downside was the servings were frustratingly small, especially for the cost of the food. What we did get (aside from the Samosas) was quite delicious and delivered to the table hot.The only other quirk about this spot is the home-made tables. While the table-tops are nice, they have 4, very thick legs at each corner of the table which make it hard to sit on the edges of the booths (see photos). A center post table would work much better for them. The menu is extensive, and the environment is welcoming. This seems to be a family restaurant, and they genuinely care about your experience. While I wish there was a bit more value for the food ordered, all in all we will likely be back to give this restaurant more business. This is definitely a worthwhile local business to support!

Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Fresh healthy food. I should’ve ordered a salad. The panini sandwich was just ok. The tomato soup was bland.

This is a fundamentally good company, Im a long time customer, however my Trane thermostats keep failing, have had zero temperature control for over a week, Nick finally gets someone out, the next day another thermostat fails. I had asked them to keep these thermostats as simple and dumbed down as possible for operational ease, they didn't listen then finally after months they decide to listen and simplify their programmability. When they keep failing and are glitchy I don't think it is unreasonable to contact them, yes even on a holiday via text to suggest that I troubleshoot over the phone or to get some third party help. He says “I'll get someone out next week”, so I guess that means no soup for me. I just want the things to work, and for that I pardonable sin I get “F” bombed by Nick over the phone. I'm told that I'm “entitled”, “I have my family to take care of” etc. The nerve of me to actually want functioning thermostats…WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, BLAME THE CUSTOMER, works every single time. I truly hope Nick is well, there seems to be trouble a foot at this company, I don't understand it. Things were better when his father ran the company. It is unfortunate. I've seen this movie a million times, things start slowly unraveling, a poorly run company will start standing in the moral high ground by hinting that somehow they have their own personal issues that supersede yours, worse, when they actually tell you what those problems are it's time to run. A true professional would never ever do this. They would not interject their personal issues onto you. I like Nick but something is wrong, very wrong. Apparently I'm in the wrong to want HVAC after having zero control for a week, one wonders how much longer is acceptable, two weeks? Three? Very unfortunate, I did zero to deserve Nick Daniels foul language and vitriol, I just wanted help.

This is probably my new favorite restaurant. The food surpassed my expectations. The service was on point. The variety is tops.My fiance and I wanted to try someplace new. We are vegetarians and were just bored with our main spots, even though we love them. Googled some options and this bad mamma jamma popped up. We looked at the menu, and said, why not? Let me tell yall..... there are NO regrets. We tried the po boi, jalapeno burger, v-bacon cheez fries, and spicy bbq wings. I also got a philly cheez steak for my best friend. Everything was delicious. Hands down, this is gonna be my new favorite spot. I wish I could better express the joy this food brought me within this comment, but I feel like words are not enough. Plus, the prices are fair. Definitely one of the more affordable vegan restaurants I have experienced.Listen, if you are vegan or just enjoy vegan food, please check this place out. Specifically the redlands location. Its worth it. ?
Stell Coffee and Tea Company

Went here for the first time and I really enjoyed the great service from the coffee to the sandwich I ordered. It is a little small inside but they do have some outside tables and chairs also. The mocha coffee was very good as it was made to my liking. They have a very nice menu of choices from sandwiches to salads and soups. I had a egg, sausage, cheese on a rosemary bread which was so good that I look forward to coming here again…I am a big time Starbucks drinker but this place is so much better and the best thing is their menu and service.
Saverinos Italian Deli & Market
617 W State St, Redlands, CA 92373, United States
One of my more exciting discoveries here in the Inland Empire! Ive had lunch there a few times and have been impressed.INTERIOR: The feel of the place is just straight up bistro. Very clean and organized, also there is a huge TV thats always showing sports. Once you come into the door there are menus ready for you to look at, so by the time you make it down to order you know what you want. Also please make sure you know what you want, mainly because this place gets busy with a lot of regulars.FOOD: The food at this place is just delicious! I have been there dozens of times trying many different sandwiches and it only comes out one way: delicious! I would recommend! Im pretty sure itll beat your usual lunch of subway or panera bread. Soup is good too.PRICE: Although it has been a little while since Ive been back, the price of the food fair. For me though, it is a Redlands staple and it is well worth your money. Be aware that this place isnt a franchise so youll know that youll be helping a local Redlands business!SERVICE: The service is a good, and although you wont find your super chirpy enthusiastic server, they get the job done. The people working the line for the sandwiches are seasoned veterans of a crazy busy lunch hour. Like I said before please try to make sure you know what you want when it is your turn, it just helps move things along. In short, they are great people and know how to do their job well!P.S: Continue to support this restaurant and those in the Redlands community! It is great to see new restaurants pop up for U of R and/or Crafton students and the community! The more support these businesses get the more businesses will come and fulfill our tastebuds!
Olive Avenue Market
530 W Olive Ave, Redlands, CA 92373, United States
This is my favorite viby spot in Redlands! The building is cute and artsy inside and out and kid- friendly. They have coffee, drinks, pastries, and a brunch thing some days.I like to try the many drinks they have in the fridges and their cranberry and turkey sandwich is very yummy. It tastes like the day after thanksgiving! I've had their chai which is good and the lemon poppyseed scone as well. They have a brunch thing going on in the back on certain days, run by a separate business. Didn't get to try this as they were sold out of the two items I would have liked.Olive Avenue has eclectic vibes with various indoor and great outdoor seating all around the building. Out front there is a doggie water bowl and a treat station, nice succulents, and a bike rack. The side of the establishment has a lending library and even a game lending library. They have tables of all sizes for big groups or small. The back courtyard has a little fountain, and the speakers play music out there too. It's great spot for parents to have a coffee with other parents and let your kids play in the playhouse. The area is all fenced in and even has a sink for washing hands. A few weeks ago they had an artist painting some of the table tops by hand, can't wait to see the finished product!I go to Olive Ave as often as I can to have a coffee date with a friend, feel inspired, or just do some relaxing drawing. They always have something yummy to sip and nibble on.

Therons Marketplace
122 Cajon St, Redlands, CA 92373, United States
Charming and so much fun to explore, be it the deli or the frozen yogurt counter, from the Mexican dishes to the Hawaiian cuisine, Therons Marketplace is really something special.Very reasonable prices, a beautiful setup both indoors and outdoors for casual dining or a lovely night out with someone special, but the real jewel in the crown is the exceptional quality of the first they made food behind every counter.(Sincerely, try the sourdough at Therons Deli, its a privilege).Just a few yards from scenic State Street in the heart of Redlands, located on historic Cajon near so many shops and beautiful sites, theres even plenty of parking to go around if you can believe it.Cozy and humble, relatively inexpensive and with something for everybody, the Marketplace is highly recommended for anybody looking for a nice little lunch, and a great memory.
