Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
1301 W Renaissance Pkwy, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
Went to lunch with my mother and she chose this restaurant. Of course, I had dined there before so this wasnt a new experience for me. Im not a huge fan of any chain restaurants and this one is no different. I know I cant go wrong with the unlimited soup and salad but Mom convinced me to try the lasagna. It was a very very simple lasagna at that. Pretty much just layers of pasta and ricotta cheese with a rather sweet meat sauce over it. The sweetness killed it for me and Im not a huge fan of ricotta cheese and they pretty much just used that. It was average to say the least. The service is adequate. The ambiance, almost non-existent as the place was very crowded-noisy and loud. If you want an average tasting Italian dinner go here. In all fairness, I must say that I fell in love with a meal they made years ago with pasta and artichokes. I would drive over 30 miles to dine there so I could have it for my meal. Then, one day I ordered it and the waitress told me it was taken off of the menu. I was disappointed after that and never went back unless it was someones choice.

Avoid this location. I went tonight to take my little man for a simple cookie. When we pulled in there were 3 or 4 cars in front of us, no big deal. We waited. And waited. Several cars pulled in behind me. We waited some more. Finally we were able to order; cookie for my little guy and a coffee for me. We had to wait to have our order taken, ok it happens. Then we waited and waited and waited. I wanted to leave but there was no way out. My little guy started getting frustrated. We finally pull up to the window and just sit there. No one acknowledged us or even seemed to care. At first I thought they might have been understaffed because I only saw 2 people. But nope, I eventually counted about 6 people. They seemed to have enough time for a few of them to just stop and talk for a few minutes. Eventually they took my payment and gave me my order. I asked if they had put cream in sweetener in the bag, they had not and when I asked for some it took another few minutes to get it to me. Yes, they were nice, yes, they gave me 2 free cookies for having to wait so long, but I waited for 45 minutes to an hour (I didnt note the exact time when I pulled in) for some cookies and a coffee with only 3 or 4 people in front of me. I will not return to this location. Just ridiculous. I feel bad for the 15+ cars I saw in line when I left.
Yang Noodle House Pho
1374 Foothill Blvd C, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
Im not from around this area but my good friend is and it was her first time trying this spot! i will definitely will return back to eat again. The orange chicken was ? hot( temp) soft ( tender) sweet (moist with sauce) NOT DRIED OR CRISPY as in over fried! The chow mein was really good, noodles were a bit thick like panda ? express but, overall BOMB. I got a mango smoothie natural ? ( not sweet) which is a plus if your not into sweet drinks/ smoothies. Can soda drinks are a bit over priced in my opinion could be a bit cheaper for a regular size soda can ?♀️. But overall its a great place to buy food to go ( small dining area) not a good idea due to covid . No long line which is a plus!!!

I got the “Pick 2” option, Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup... AMAZING! It was so delicious, I didn’t even have time to take a picture for the review lol. My husband wanted to try the chocolate chip cookies so he bought 3 of them.... devoured in seconds! I’m so glad we have this nearby because I was getting tired of the rest of the other restaurants around here. Love love love this fresh and fast food!

This review is more like a 4.5 star review. The service and food here is exceptional. Usually when I come here its to pickup large orders for friends at work. The girls do a great job of not only getting everyones orders correct, but they do a great job of packaging it, and dividing it into different orders so that I can pay for them individually. For someone who is on the clock picking up for 5+, it makes things so much easier.Recently I bought their box lunch special which came with a small grinder (ham, turkey, or roast beef), one bag of potato chip, and a choice of macaroni, potato, or fruit salad. I believe the meal was between $5-$8 w/o the drink. They have a variety of grinders and build your own or specialty sandwiches. I heard the P.W.D. special is pretty good. Its crispy pastrami, egg salad, cheese, lettuce, tomato & sprouts. Dont forget to add the avocado! They have over 8 meats to choose from, along with 8 different cheeses, including muenster and hot pepper. The reason I didnt give it the full five stars is because Im comparing to other sandwich shops Ive been too. The quality of food here is still good, and If I had to judge this place by itself my review would probably be a 5 star. Great work ladies!
Garden Thai Rialto Restaurant
575 S Riverside Ave, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
I really enjoyed this little place. It's in the parking lot on the corner of Merrill Av and Riverside Av. The lot with the Planet Fitness Gym and the El Super Market. It was nice and clean and the server was friendly. It's a bit small inside so it's not for large groups. The use of a pickup or delivery service is available such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. Calling ahead is also an option. Strangely enough the server is required to put a code into the restroom each time you need to use it. I've never experienced this in a restaurant of this type. Imagine going into Apple Bee's and having to ask to be let into the restroom ?. I assume it's due to their location and the particular clientele of the area. Nevertheless the food was good, the boba in my Thai tea was a little under cooked but no biggie.
Renaissance Marketplace

Finally Rialto has its own Panera Bread, which opened today at the Renaissance Marketplace - back near theater. You can order online in or out of store, where you can access your registered account. I have several customized favorites registered with my account along with gift cards saved to pay for whatever I order. So I dont need any money. The store is spacious inside with a variety of comfortable seating. The hazelnut coffee is wonderful. Unlike other Panera stores (and I have been to lots of them), a buzzard goes off when your order is ready (even if you dine in) and you go up and pick it up. If you need help, you can ask, and one of their friendly employees will lend a hand. The employees seem very friendly and seem to really like this store. They also keep it clean. I will frequent this Panera often. Also for those in a big hurry, there is a drive through. However, I recommend slowing down and enjoying a delicious, healthy meal and cup of coffee inside the store. I think their hours open are 6 am to 10 pm.

Tortas Ahogadas Chapala
402 E Foothill Blvd, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
Great service, Tortas Ahogadas Chapala specializes in a popular Mexican dish called tortas ahogadas, which translates to drowned sandwiches. These sandwiches consist of a birote (a type of bread) filled with various meats such as pork, beef, or chicken, and then topped with a spicy tomato sauce. The tortas ahogadas at Tortas Ahogadas Chapala are simply amazing! The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the meat is tender and flavorful. The tomato sauce is the perfect blend of spicy and tangy, and it complements the sandwich very well. Additionally, they offer a variety of salsas and toppings to customize your sandwich to your liking.Apart from the tortas ahogadas, they also offer other Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, and tostadas, which are all equally delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with a casual atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that your dining experience is a pleasant one.Overall, I would highly recommend Tortas Ahogadas Chapala to anyone who is a fan of Mexican food or is looking to try something new. The food is exceptional, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. It is definitely worth a visit!
California Fish Grill
1185 W Renaissance Pkwy Suite 340, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
My first impression was good but a bit pricey for fast food. Yet Ive come back three more times in the past year. Everything is prepared well, the portions are highly satisfying, and the staff is very attentive to customers. My only critique might be that the sound level at the registers is a bit high. A few times the person who took my order has misheard and had to correct it afterward. This, however, was done without hesitation and they were very quick to fix the order. The sauce bar has a wide variety of choices to customize your meal, among which I particularly enjoy the house remoulade. There are plenty of menu choices - even some great alternatives for the one person in your party who hates fish. I dont drink alcohol, but the six choices of craft soda at the drink fountain are excellent. But going back to the main attraction - this place has the most seafood choices of any restaurant where you dont order at your table, and so far all the ones Ive tried have tasted better than the nicer places and cost less. Definitely worth a try if youre fond of fish, and I wager youll most likely come back for more.
