Daeho Kalbijim & Beef Soup
1620 Post St, San Francisco, CA 94115, United States
I seldom visit San Francisco since I live South Bay. I visited friends place and they recommended this Korean restaurant. We order this braised beef ribs with cheese it was super good, it’s one of the top Korean short ribs in the area for sure. If you are a soup love you cannot miss Seolleongtang. You’d have to season it with salt and peppers, it have meet options and also have some rice noodle. Long line during lunch and dinner hours so plan your visit ahead and checkin yelp for wait in line to save you some time. Click like if it’s useful :)

Daeho Kalbijjim & Beef Soup

I love Daeho and it pains me to only give this 4 stars but it's really due to the value and price. Compared to the original Daeho in Japan town, the value you pay for isn't the same. In Japan town you get the atmosphere, alcohol, ambiance, and energy which isn't present here. The food is still delicious though, albeit in a cafeteria hall setting that's more oriented towards families and other dining options at hmart.Galbijim is a must. The yukgaejang (spicy beef stew soup) is incredibly addictive. The banchan and purple rice is on point. Just be prepared to enter flavor town because everything on the menu is STRONG. Think garlic and spice but multiply it by 5x. Your breathe will stink for the rest of the day but your taste buds will leave satisfied.Excellent spot, but wish the prices were lower.

I found this place by accident and now I go there weekly and sometimes more often. David and Lei(sp?) are very welcoming and attentive. The food is deliciously addicting ?. Im vegan and Lei is very helpful offering suggestions from an extensive healthy menu. I love the vegetarian soup, the rice crepes, the spring rolls and the sautéed vegetables. Everything that I have tried so far has tasted fresh and been delicious. One can order to go or eat at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions very generous. I highly recommend it!I cant wait to go back again soon!

Wasabi Bistro

Why has basic customer service died at so many restaurants in the city?! I sat down and was given a menu, and I was the only customer there. My server was setting tables and I had to wave her over after so time, to take my order. I wanted water, and was pointed to where I could get it myself, so I kept getting up to get some. My portions were small and pricey, and my appetizer(miso soup) was served last. When my sashimi was served it was just put in front of me, and they walked away without telling me what each one was. I wanted lemon, and some spicy flakes with this, but noone ever came back or was around, or ever asked me how everything was. I was, and am still hungry, but I just wanted to leave. I had to get someones attention for my bill. They also changed a $1.35 convenience fee for a credit card- which Ive never seen at any restaurant, and my bill was $42. I always leave at least 20% when I eat out, but Im not going to here, I left about 15% which was still too much. I guess this place is doing so great, they dont have to care if anyone comes in, as countless restaurants around them are closing down. Best of luck to them, but I wont be back.

Great for an airport fast restaurant. I just got soup because I was feeling sick but my friends got sandwiches and seemed to enjoy them! It was a bit pricey though but it’s in an airport so I kind of expected that.

I went here during off lunch hours with my bf, so there was no line and not too many people around in general. Ive never been here or to any other Ladle & Leaf locations before, but I have been to places with similar offerings (e.g., Tender Greens, Sweet Greens, Specialtys, etc.), so I ordered my usual - grilled chicken cobb salad. One thing I liked about this place compared to some of the others is that they mixed the salad up so that the dressing spread evenly; they didnt just dump the toppings on and leave (or leaf ?) it at that. The staff was friendly too, though a bit hard to hear with some of the overall background noise around. While this may not necessarily be the first lunch place I think of, it will almost certainly make the list of salad places when Im craving something healthier. I guess that just means Ill have to try something different (not salad) on their menu next time ?

I love love love the crab fried rice! It is simply delicious and very rare to find in a different thai restaurant. The pad Thai is also delicious, this time we also tried the Tom Yum soup which it was delicious and the sticky rice with mango dessert - really good.

California Pizza Kitchen
53 3rd Street, 53 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States
I blame my friends from the Suburbs for why I even ate here. Its always friends from the suburbs who convince you to go to California Pizza Kitchen. I tried to take them to Empire Pizza to eat what I deem as the most authentic New York Style Pizza but they didnt feel comfortable sitting down anywhere until we walked by a familiar face, California Pizza Kitchen. So blame them for why this place got a review. Is reviewing California Pizza Kitchen pointless? Not at all. As a matter of fact, Jack, I have had California Pizza Kitchen in so many different places I cant even keep track. Heres the thing about them though - they deliver. You can eat all the great Pizza in the World and California Pizza Kitchen is still solid. They even make solid frozen Pizza considering they have also been known to butcher Pizza by putting toppings that make any Pizza purist want to puke. That being said, I have always enjoyed food from California Pizza Kitchen and now that I am a Top 10% Pizza Reviewer and I have tried 85 Pizza Establishments in San Francisco since May 2022 Alone, My 2 Cents are obviously valued. So here they are;Why did I not give them 5 stars? Number 1 reason, although the wait staff is nice, at times it feels like they are not even listening to what you are saying. Do not even ask them questions about the food, they can hardly hold a conversation. While this is the case, they do deliver on the Parmesan Cheese when you ask for them to give you a side of it. They really do. Why else did I not give them 5 stats? Because 5 Stars are reserved for legendary Pizza like Tonys, Cafe Zeotrope, PizzaHacker, Cellarmaker House of Pizza, Capos, Longbridge Pizza Company, Pizzeria Delfina etc. not chains like this. Thats all. Thats really all. Even bringing up those other places makes me feel like maybe I should lower CPK down to 3 stars really. So I will stop writing this Review now before I change it because CPK is good. So thank my Suburban Friends for this review, San Francisco. Thank them. I didnt want to do this. They wouldnt allow me not to Review CPK.

Pho Recipe Vietnamese Noodle House

I always get the Five Spice Chicken Noodle Soup, but soup saltiness is not always consistent. Sometimes saltier than other times. Food portions are great though. Not a large restaurant but I always get my food to go. Owner is nice.
