I tried Beef Pho, Spring Rolls, and Sandwich.Taste was just okay. Not that great, Not that bad.Very optimal for a new business.Definitely I will be there again to try another menus.Interior is very cooler than any others pho restaurant. It was feels like I am in the modern bar tbh.Spring Roll was so so. I recommend it.Pho had good portions of meats and noodles. Soup taste is just like “Oh it’s soup” If you really like deep tastes from soup or if you expected salty soup, you’d might be disappointed. However, just like what I said, it’s very optimal taste. You can control the salty with sauces. So wasn’t bad at all. I would love to try again with different types.Sandwich.Taste good But the portion of Sandwich wasn’t. If they put little bit more meats and veggies than I had. It will be good when I compares to the other pho places.Service is okay. Before covid, this place was a Japanese restaurant but unfortunately they couldn’t open and finally this new pho restaurant opened.Good luck for your successful business.I give 3 stars for now. After couple more visits, I will change it.

Up until today one of my favorite lunch places in the area. Went there at least once a week for the past two years. My all time favorite is the Pesto Chicken Sandwich. Its served cut in half so you can perfectly see the bit-sized chicken strips. For the first time today, mine were cold and clearly pink inside. Its chicken, so I decided to have the sandwich replaced. Better safe than sorry. Went back to the register to quietly tell them about it. Spoke to the manager in charge, an older male who seemed like he would actually be the owner. Now, instead of acknowledging and being sorry for this, he first doubted that its actually raw inside and showed me a plastic bag of chicken mentioning that this is how we buy it and its already pre-cooked, obviously not realizing that the mistake could have been on the supplier side too. Showing him the pink chicken pieces one more time, he agreed to make me a new sandwich. Once I got it, he left with the words I hope this does it for you.Didnt say sorry once but actually made it sound like its my fault. While these things can happen, the owners attitude is not only out of place but outright ridiculous. Got him that 1-star review and lost him a life-long customer.

I come here every Tuesday for lunch w my dispatch classmates and everything Ive tried on their Spring menu has been great! Especially for the price! Service is awesome! The drink specials are always so good and Im the kind of guy that always orders water when I go out.Make sure you make reservations. If you have a large group you can call a few days to a week or more ahead to ensure they can fit you in.Serving sizes arent huge but quite adequate.Ill hopefully add some photos when I eat there solo.
Heartland Cafe & Mart

Picking up some to-go earlier, the server wanted to verify if the order was correct. Sometimes I picked up for myself, but if it was for others, it was hard for me to verify unless I opened the bag, which would displease the actual consumer. The server was cordial though and verified at the end. It's a cute little store; the signage indicated that it was organic. Part of their store is assigned for dining and the rest showcases their snacks and variety of items, mostly natural I suppose. Trust they are selling quality items. It's located in a middle-class neighborhood full of patrons with sharp taste buds.
Mazesoba Hero

This place is good! I have previously only tried this style of noodle from Menya in Arcadia, and not sure if this is just a new style to enjoy ramen noodles. If you are a eggs Benedict lover, or someone that loves runny eggs, having this addition to a noodle bursting with flavor is delicious. I have visited twice, and have had a great experience with the friendly staff. The place is right across from Mt. Sac, it isn't the biggest place so if you are looking for 8+ this wouldn't be the spot. The place looks modern and clean.FoodThe two times that I came, I gave the Champion Mazesoba a try. It is so good with the runny egg plus additional two soft boiled eggs and the cha-Siu. I'm glad I gave spicy a try as the first time I got it with no spicy. The first time I also tried the Crown Mazesoba. It was also quite good if you like Karage, that is fried and sweet.I will definitely plan another trip sometime in the near future again. The good thing is that you also do not have to drive far into Orange County, or 626 area to get this, as it is right in Walnut. Until next time!

Let me start by saying this place is always crowded. We waited about 30 mins . The food was pretty good. I had the tomato soup with grill cheese . The soup was excellent. The coffee was good. This place is pet friendly. Parking is in back of restaurant .

I am absolutely so upset with this place. This is the second time we have not been treated accordingly by the establishment. On Saturday, March 2nd we had friends come in from Anaheim. They arrived downtown before us so they picked 25°, with what had happened to me last time I would've never went back .But thee were already seated and had ordered a drink so we met them there About 3:45- 4 PM. We all ordered food, . We also split the chili so we could all have a small cup and we ordered an appetizer and half fries half onion rings . At about 6:45 they left and some other friends joined us since there was a small musician/band playing we stayed to listen to the music at about 9 PM 930 I was informed by the bartender that we were cut off, mind you we are almost 50 years old and locals to HB. I wasn't aware of this until I went up to buy the singer a beer that is when the bartender informed me that we were not to be served anymore. I said why ? and he said my manager Noah said that you have been here all day and haven't eaten (I did not see nNoah there during the day when we ate ) I said actually we've been here since four and we ate over $100 worth of just food between four of us which isn't hard to do there. They said you cannot just keep hanging out here drinking without eating. I explained again that we had already eaten. At that point I was so upset. I said we will leave, there was about eight of us at this point, and I said I will happily go give our money to another establishment downtown, any of them could use it. Even the man that was singing confused as we were leaving he said “we will see you all around somewhere soon” thanked us for supporting him, and he shook his head in disbelief. Noah was rude unprofessional, and did not have his facts straight before he decided to cut off that many people. I will not be going back to this place, I would advise anyone in town to choose somewhere else. I honestly can't even remember if ever there has been a time I've been cut off at a bar/restaurant. It was absolutely ridiculous.
Arslans Turkish Street Food
113 Walnut Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, United States
I went there with my family and was really looking forward to it based on the reviews. The place looked nice and was clean on the inside. I thought the prices were high but figured being downtown Santa Cruz, rent must be outrageous too, so understandable I suppose. The person helping us was not very friendly or helpful in answering questions. I ordered a chicken wrap, chicken plate, water, coke and fries. The fries were ok, but the chicken was just not good. It really tasted old, both in the wrap and plate. It was very dry and tasted like how old chicken would taste and pretty much ruined the entire meal. Maybe our mistake was not getting the beef or lamb but we expected more for a meal that cost about $51 including tip. Finally, the handwritten sign in the bathroom about what to throw and not throw in the toilet with exclamation marks is just silly. For those who do such things, it is not because of lack of knowledge but rather lack of character and a handwritten sign will not change anything but make the place look bad .
Tonys Place
14157 Market St, Walnut Grove, CA 95690, United States
I can assure you, despite what the Google ratings may suggest, that this place is definitely a 3.A 4-star restaurant carries Pelegrino, and a 5-star restaurant serves it to you and pours your glass while holding it in a towel. This restaurant does neither so it cannot be greater than 4-stars.Food was ok. 3-starish. A1 and condiments on the table suggest that seasoning may be lacking (it was). The restaurant also only takes cash, and makes you withdraw from an ATM machine when you want to pay with card…. A little bit sketch but ??♂️Our waitress was very nice though.Edit to respond to owner:I'm not new to the Delta, in fact, I traveled to your restaurant via Jet Ski ?. I am also not new to eating delicious cuisine from around the globe, and I can assure you, despite your perceived “historical relevance” that everything about your establishment is three-star.It's ok to have 3-star restaurants around. If you didn't exist, I wouldn't really be able to enjoy a 5-star meal. We need to be reminded of what true quality is by dining in places such as yours. I definitely will maybe be back if the Mexican place is closed. ?Also, if you've been anticipating this review, then you were already aware that this is a 3-star spot.
