Note: Writing this as part of a party of 7, just to be clear. Your experience may not be as bad because they may have only given us this experience for that reason. And honestly, if that is the case, they need to not do parties of certain sizes. Our half of the table went ignored for much of the visit today. When they passed out silverware, they had other guests in our party pass us our silverware. I'd rather not have other people passing me my silverware, having multiple people touching it. Would have been nice to just have the server come to our end and hand us our silverware. Then when she took down our orders, she had us practically yell across the table to her our orders instead of coming down to us. I didn't even know it was my turn until someone tapped me.Then when we got our drinks, she had them pass my drink to me. Somebody passed me a water, not what I had ordered, but we had assumed everyone was getting water plus their drink. Just a lot of unnecessary confusion. When we got our food, they did bring it directly to us, which was nice. When they came around to ask if we needed anything extra, our end of the table was ignored. When they came to refill water, they ignored our side as well. It's difficult to get any server's attention. Like they don't have peripheral vision and can only see what is in their walkway.I wanted some siracha sauce or something spicy as a sauce. Never got a chance to ask for it, even trying to flag someone down. The food was okay. I had a crab fried rice. I only tasted one piece of crab in the entire dish though, so it was more like just fried rice with a pinch of crab. Not coming back though, that's for sure.
Pho Mai Vietnamese Gourmet
26487 Ynez Rd, Temecula, CA 92591, United States
Worst Vietnamese Food EverWhen we entered the restaurant we asked an employee the food was good. He declined to answer the question and referred us to the owner whos also the waiter. The owner responded, the food is the best Vietnamese food in Temecula. He flatly lied to us. I love Vietnamese foods but this one restaurant was tge worst of the worst.I ordered rice with tofu and assorted vegetables. Instead I received a plate that was mostly diced carrots, sliced onions, flavorless tomatoes colored rice, and four shaved off tinny tofu pieces. Looked like something scraped from the bottom of ancient cooking pot.My girlfriend ordered lemon grass beef and chicken. The portion she received was mostly fat, gristle beef served over the flavorless tomat colored rice. One side of her plate was filled with their so-called salad, no greens. It consists of two slices of cucumber, one small slice of tomatoe and watery inner part of Iceberg lettuce. Please save yourself from disappointment. DONT EAT HERE. DONT EVEN RECOMMEND IT TO YOUR WORST ENEMY. :-( :-( :-(

Great Food! I ordered takeout on a Tuesday evening, about 5:30 PM, which is 30 minutes after they open for the evening. The lady said that it would be about 45 minutes for my order to be ready. Well, this is generally a good sign, when it comes to a restaurant. I ordered their entree dinner, the basil fried rice, both with chicken. And also ordered a mixed seafood salad. The entree was a mix of stir fried veggies with a nice portion of chicken. The sauce was a sweet and savory, leaning more on the sweet side. The basil fried rice was one of the best Ive had, with a very balanced Thai flavor. It was a breath of fresh air to eat chicken in an Asian restaurant, that didnt taste like cat. (If youre wondering, cat taste just like slimy chicken). The mixed seafood salad was a raw seafood mix, marinated in the sweet and savory sauce. Very similar to Peruvian ceviche. The seafood was squid, shrimp, oysters, and scallops. Everything was ridiculously fresh and delicious. The total with tip came to $60. This is very reasonable for very good quality food. The people that complained about the price, really need to stick to their Panda Express, and stay out of fine dining establishments. Im very critical of Thai food, so trust me when I tell you. If you like good Thai food, this restaurant is well worth the drive and the wait and the money spent. Highly recommend.
Island Pacific Seafood Market

Reviewed on 2018-10-31Overall rating is 3.5.We were glad when Island Pacific opened up a branch in the Temecula area in June of 2017. This place is a Filipino supermarket focused on selling traditional Pinoy cooking. You will find almost all the ingredients you need to make your favorite dish a reality at home. Some of the popular ones, for example, are Pork or Chicken Adobo, Pansit (bihon, canton, lug-lug, palabok & etc.), Lumpiang Shanghai (fried egg roll), Lechon kawali (crispy pork belly deep-fried).In the fridge section, you will find the magnolia branded products like ice cream using flavor from indigenous fruits like mango, ube (purple sweet yam) or langka (jackfruit). There is also the frozen novelties such as the popsies, pinipig crunch, fun bar and k-pop. Then theres the ready-made frozen lumpia, daing (marinated milkfish) and various seafood (i.e., shrimp or scallops). The store offers a great selection of beef, pork, chicken and fish. Their meat cutters can help with accurate portion cutting of your choice. You have the option to get your fish cleaned, cut and fried. For those opting to have a sit-down, theres the cafeteria on the side offering wide-ranging of Filipino cuisine and a section to witness the roasting of pork belly or lechon. Like most stores, you can take advantage of their rewards system and I heard that they even have a military discount.

This review is solely based on my trip today at 14:37:19 with the cashier who rung me up at the register closest to Trining's Cafe. She had short wavy black hair, fair complexion, thin build and was wearing black frame eye glasses…I didn't get her name. I have not had any issues on my countless trips prior to today.I purchased two 7 ounces Calpico drinks, grape tomatoes and pearl onions. As I picked up the Calpico drinks off the shelves I saw price tags that read $5.99. I didn't think I had to read the description because the first two shelves were ALL FILLED with 7 ounces Calpico bottles. Any customer would think it's the correct price because of the quantity of Calpico bottles on both shelves. After the cashier rung up the Calpico bottles at $6.99 each I mentioned that the shelf price tags read $5.99. She went to check the shelves and returned. She seen the price I stated but also said the price tags were for “tea.” I said “those shelves are ALL FILLED with Calpico bottles and there is NO TEA around. So how would I know that I HAD TO READ the price tag's description? Is it my fault that the price tag is wrong or is it the fault of the employee who stocked those shelves and did not put the proper price tags? Will you please honor the price?” She then goes to say that she didn't have the authority to adjust the price and pointed back at the manager area and said “you can go talk to my manager.” As a customer I shouldn't have to go fetch a manager. The cashier should've called the manager over to resolve the issue. I can understand if a cashier isn't granted authority to adjust a price, but at least THEY should call a higher up. At this point with the back and forth I was doing with the cashier I didn't have time to go talk to a manager. I had already waited because she went to get star anise from the aisle (for the customer before me. I didn't mind). Witnessing her performing that customer service act gave me hope that she would give me the same level of customer service. To be honest I was more upset at the fact that she saw the same price I saw on the shelves, but didn't have the mental capacity to fix a $2 problem BUT had time to go back and forth with me at the register. If it was a ridiculous price adjustment I could understand, but I was getting charged extra for an employee's mistake. That alone is false advertisement. I told her “someone should go fix those price tags and that I wished she had better customer service skills.”

With so many breakfast options in town, I will not be back. I walked into an empty restaurant hopeful that, since I was the first one, I would be greeted and walked to a table. Instead, I was shouted at and told to sit at a table the employee pointed to from across the restaurant.I thought little of that and did not see it for what it was: a harbinger of what terrible service was waiting for me.I sat down and found the menu stacked on the table, as all the others were. Although I arrived at the opening, the table was still sticky and did not appear clean. The wait staff came to the table and asked what I wanted. I said I had never been here and needed a few moments with the menu but would like water. That took so long, when she returned with the water I was ready to order. She dropped off the water and in futility I tried to tell her I was ready to order. She made eye contact with me, held up a finger in silence, and walked away.Eventually, she came back to take the order. More people began filing in the place, and I heard the order of the table behind me. My water had run dry, and every attempt to flag an employee for more water was unsuccessful.Thankfully I heard the order of the table behind me, because when she came back (no water) she tried to give me the food from the other table. I told her what I ordered and said that food goes to the table behind me. I threw in that I could use some water, Oh was the only response. After continued waiting, my waffle combo arrived. I thanked her and asked for more water in vain.As I tasted the waffle, I needed water like a camel traversing the Sahara. The waffle tasted like it came from a $1 just-add-water mix, similar to a cheap hotel self-make waffle bar. The eggs were just as bad; tasted like a premix egg liquid that was mass-cooked. I had camp food that was better. Finally, my pleas for water were heard; Neptune must have looked favorably upon my plight. I could not finish the meal and left disappointed.I realized I did this to myself. In my desire to try new things, I was given a truly awful dining experience. If this is a representation of breakfast, one might be tempted to forever skip the meal. Thankfully, there are many other and better breakfast options. Also, the prices are extremely high for the quality and portions. I will not be back to this place and encourage you to stay away.
