sweetgreen
180 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036, United States
This place is bomb for a post workout bite. They have a lot of different options for you to make your own salad bowls, or choose from some that they can make.I got the Shroomami which was surprisingly good considering it was the first time I had kale. The Tofu was well seasoned and the mushrooms paired with it made it perfect. The dressing was light and refreshing too which was nice because after finishing it I didnt feel heavy, just a comfortable fullness. My girl got the avocado ranch which she couldnt finish, the portions are surprisingly generous. Cant say much about it since I only tried a bite of it but the chicken was good. Only doc is because the avocado wasnt ripe but they gave half of the avocado so I give them a pass.I dont know the name of the girl that helped us out but shes a real one. Super kind and considerate. Asked lots of questions especially with toppings since it has questionable ingredients such as nuts, mushrooms, or dressings. Props to her ??The sweet potatoes and Mustard was worth it. The Mustard could be its own dressing in my opinion because I really like it. We also tried the Hummus and bread. I wish the bread was warm but honestly no big deal, the bread by itself was good and so fluffy. The Hummus was sour, but a good sour and i like sour so i dont know what others may thonk. Im picky with Hummus because my spot back home is #1 so this is probably #2.I wish they had more than salads like sandwiches too because they have so many good dressings and ingredients that I would just throw it between some buns with some more meat and it would be perfect. But this is a 4.5 spot not really 4.Im coming back.

Chicas Tacos
800 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036, United States
Nice small and friendly place. There are Mexican type soft drinks and a cool selection of tacos, with vegetarian options. I dont think there was any beer on the menu but I didnt mind. After ordering, your name gets called out to collect the order. After a short wait, the tacos were full of flavour and quite nice. It was a nice change from the other restaurants in LA.

Sushi Box

Sushi box is a little hidden gem tucked away in Brea. This is a small sushi spot but the food, flavor and presentation speaks VOLUMES. When I got there I was greeted and seated. I sat at the bar because I love to see the Sushi creators make the rolls! My food was ready in 10 to 15 mins. I tell you that this is geunuine FOOD ART!! It tastes just as good as it looks. I took my time enjoying every bite. I also love to eat put and try to have little to no carbs. I had a side of mouth watering Shashimi. My absoutle favorite is called the love love. It is slices of raw tuna stuffed with spicy raw tuna SHAPED AS HEARTS and topped with pieces of avacado mesago. It came with a salad in the middle of my plate with vinaigrette on the salad. I absolutely love it because the roll had No rice. It was a lunch special and very affordable. I the Red Spider Roll was riceless too it was so good. If you love sushi swing by and give this spot a try! You will not be dissapointed.

Taco Bell
1604 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90019, United States
Overall good experience. Driving into the lot was stressful, my google maps GPS took us over a double yellow line to a one way entrance (South La Brea Ave). We could have just made a left at the light (turned left onto Venice Blvd.) and gone in the safe way. Customer service was decent, we ordered around 10:30 pm and the lady taking our order sounded very tired and ready to go home (I will not be saying her name as we were not treated badly in any way, she just sounded very tired.) We ordered a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Chicken Quesadilla, Doritos Locos Taco (nacho cheese one) and when we pulled up to the window I also added a Chalupa. (I asked for the Chalupa with just meat and cheese though.) We pulled over in the parking lot where there was lots of parking and hardly anyone there. The 5 layer burrito tasted great but it fell apart in my hands, I dont think it was wrapped very well. No complaints about the quesadilla or doritos locos taco (my husband and son ate them and said they were great). When we got to the Chalupa though I was pretty sad because they added everything on it (Im allergic to tomatoes). I will take some of the responsibility for that as I should have ordered it at the screen, not the window. While we were eating I did see the same lady that took our order bringing out orders for curbside pickup in the freezing cold. Gained back some points for that! (They all had their masks on properly!) ??

Nekter Juice Bar
2435 E Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821, United States
This location is closer to me, but I usually love going to the one that's a little further. Well I just decided today to go to this one. One of the worst experiences I had. I ordered a Banana Berry bowl and there was no one else in there but me. However, it took over 10 minutes to make my bowl. When they were done I was handed a bright pink bowl. I asked them if they made it correctly and they laughed and told me they forgot to add açai. Didn't once apologize but just laughed and went to make it. I Waited another 10 minutes and was handed a very messy bowl. It seems they do not care how they present themselves or the customers wants. I don't like blueberry so I always get no blueberry extra banana and they couldn't give that to me either.

Biancos Italian Cuisine
935 S La Brea Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301, United States
A small inconspicuous storefront 2 doors down from Wise tires on LA Brea in Inglewood. Walked in and immediately swept up into a comfortable and inviting small space that was all Italian restaurant. The menu was large and prices were extremely reasonable. Food was prepared fresh to order and tasted like food at any of the finest 5 Star Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at.Delicious, wonderful, all made with fresh ingredients and flavor that overwhelmed the senses.I had the meatball sandwich lunch special, including chips and a drink. It came out of the kitchen completely filling the plate. I have a large appetite and could only manage to finish half of it. Huge portions! All of this for $12.95, you cant find a fast food equivalent for that price anymore, let alone fresh prepared like this.I was amazed at this hidden gem ?.No matter where you are, it is well worth a trip to Inglewood for some of the finest Italian food.
