Its no surprise that everything at Nekter is incredible, hence why I LOVE going there! But while every other Nekter Ive been to gets my order ready in less than 5-10 minutes, the Dana Point location doesnt quite match up in terms of efficiency. I have been to this Nekter probably 5 times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been there, there are very few customers and I still find myself waiting a minimum of 20-30 minutes for my order. At this location, the counter/work area is very open, and it legitimately doesnt even seem like they try to get your order to you quickly. Instead, a couple of my friends and I watched two workers make drinks/ bowls for people who had seemingly been there several minutes before we walked in incredibly leisurely and slowly with ZERO regard for time. I have always gone there with the hope that maybe I got caught on slow days previously and the service they provide will actually be done efficiently, but I have never been so thoroughly disappointed by an establishment that I have had to compose a negative review about it. If you dont mind the wait time because youre simply relaxing and hanging out with friends, then Im sure this is not a bother whatsoever. But for people who expect a certain quality of service, especially if they have somewhere to go, for your own good, do not come to this location. For the benefit of its customers, I truly hope this location improves its services in the future.

Went for a birthday and the starters were good, but after that it got a bit funky. Found a hair in one of our drinks and asked for something else and the server said oh thats just black sea salt, it doesnt dissolve. All of our kitchen staff wear hairnets and he just left it there. And as the rest of the food was being brought out by the kitchen staff guest what....NO HAIRNETS. I get trying to make it seem like your on top of food safety but dont lie about it. And after that the server was just watching us eat, just standing there. Not checking on the kitchen or wiping tables or whatever else but just watching us eat.Other than that the food was pretty good but rather spicy for somethings I know to be mild, the biryani was SPICY. I like spicy but I couldnt have a spoonful on its own due to the spice.Decent food but if I were to go back it would be takeaway, maybe ?.

I had the Mediterranean salad … absolutely phenomenal!!! The freshness of ingredients is amazing and what they do with seasonings is also out of this world. This place is definitely not your typical vegetarian restaurant. They are using revolutionary preparation and it is really good!You owe it to yourself to give the place a try!

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by this casual restaurant located within an outdoor shopping center.The food was fresh and delicious and made to order.I ordered the Hara Bhara Kebab plate which was beautifully presented on a black rectangular plate which was equal to presentation at a fine dining restaurant.I also appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options.My server, Hamad, was friendly and attentive.

The food looks great, I got delivery through Uber eats and no chopsticks. Uber suggested calling the restaurant. When I called about this, they said they're sorry but nothing they can do - there was an option to “add chopsticks” on Uber Eats. I didn't see one. No big deal since the food looks great and I figured they'd offer a solution, but this rating is solely based on that ambivalence and customer service. I've never had this experience of missing chopsticks on a delivery, or any sushi order I can remember, which amazes me as I reflect on that. I've never eaten sushi without some ‘sticks but guess I could invest in a pair now, and there's a first for everything, right?. Maybe sushi isn't their main thing here, but the reviews sure were high. Make sure you request them to avoid this. Will adjust review if I hear anything further. Update: the sushi tastes good, still a bummer eating sushi with a fork…

Ever since the poke place at town center closed down we’ve been hoping for a new poke spot. Poke Tiki finally opened and it doesn’t disappoint! I like that it comes with a boba section so there’s richer drink option than your typical restaurant. It also has eel bowl for those who can’t consume raw fish or vegetarian option. Would definitely come back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caló Kitchen, and I must say, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in and sat at the beautiful bar, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance alone was enough to make me feel excited about the meal ahead. I am thrilled to share my glowing review of Caló Kitchen.As soon as I settled into my seat, I was warmly greeted by a server who promptly provided me with menus and a refreshing glass of water. To my delight, they also offered complimentary chips and salsa to start the meal. It was a fantastic way to whet my appetite and set the stage for the culinary delights to come.Speaking of delights, the margaritas I ordered were absolutely delicious. Each sip was a burst of flavor that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. It was evident that careful attention was paid to crafting a well-balanced and satisfying drink.For my main meal, I decided to try the Carnitas, and it did not disappoint. The tender, succulent meat was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a savory delight, and I thoroughly enjoyed savoring each mouthful. This is legitimately one of our favorite places to eat in Dana Point overall and it’s our favorite Chinese food restaurant on planet earth.One of the biggest positives to Asian Kitchen is the consistency, it’s never missed in satisfying our group, no matter who it’s been. Everything we’ve tried on the menu, which is a lot, is fresh, very well prepared, and never greasy. Between all of us in the family we’ve tried Orange Chicken, Kitchens Chicken, Orange Tofu (you have to special order this one but they’re kind enough to whip it up for vegetarians), all the fried rices (shrimp fried rice is something special), Dan Dan Noodles, Mu Shu, White chicken with broccoli (gluten and dairy free), Beef and broccoli, steak and shrimp, and Won ton soup.They’ll even make the fried rice without soy sauce if you need it gluten free.Service is excellent, the owner walks around with a friendly demeanor, the prices are super reasonable, and the food is just so consistently good. We’re actually headed there right now again because writing this review has made us hungry. 7/5 stars.I know this review seems over dramatic but it really is excellent food. You can go here and order with confidence. If you see a dish you normally like on their menu, it will be made well here.

I began frequenting this establishment sometime in 2015 or so. I was directed there by an acquaintance who indicated that Oh My Sushi had great sushi and good customer service. I was hopeful because I had had about enough of Good Choice Sushis lack of consistency and was in need of a solid new choice for sushi.I became a frequent visitor and recipient of to-go orders. The sushi was of good quality and the customer service was overall decent; but not exceptional.I moved from the area in 2020 and returned in 2022. I once again began visiting and ordering from Oh My Sushi; however, I noticed that the cut rolls were rather small and would often fall apart. An unfortunate change and degradation in the quality of the sushi I had previously grown to love.Perhaps things will change. I have not written the place off as I have with Good Choice Sushi in Laguna Niguel; but I would really like to see a return to the quality I previously experienced if I were to return as a frequent patron of this establishment.

When we arrived, we stood at the door waiting because theres a sign that only one person at a time. The manager was outside having out with a group and didnt even ask to assist us. There were people there to pick-up orders who werent being helped. Others who just walked up, tried to cut ahead of us. It was very disorganized at best.We were told 3 times that the table was ready. We had a 80 year old disabled guest who had at this time walked in to be seated. She was told to go stand outside again in the cold even after the table was ready.The Beef with Broccoli barely had beef. See picture. The Tofu With Vegetable was a good size. Combination Crispy Noodles was okay. ALL THREE had the same base which was being drenched in Soy Sauce. This was not authentic Chinese food. It was okay at best, if you are hungry like we were. Had we driven a bit further to Westminister, we could have enjoyed a great Chinese meal.The Manager Shu doesnt seem to understand how to run the place. Its too disorganized. People stand around outside clueless what to do. Sandy, our server was very friendly and took care of us. Eduardo, the runner was awesome. Very attentive and polite.If you are hungry and craving for Chinese food, this might work, but Chinese food isnt anything with Soy Sauce poured all over it. Each dish has its own flavor, texture and the combination of those flavors is what makes for a great Chinese meal. I didnt want to ruin their overall score, so I gave 4 ⭐. If not for Covid-19 and everyone struggling, I would have given no more than 2⭐.
