Loving Hut

One of the great vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area. We came on Sunday for lunch at open hour. Restaurant was clean and ready to serve. All dishes tasted great except brown rice was incompletely cooked and was too hard to eat. Also the artificial tofu for kong pao chicken is too hard to chew.Over all everything is great ?Recommend it and will try different dishes next time ?

Bombay Chaat House

Not writing about the food quality here! I have been to this place twice so far, and never in life have i come across such rude, uncivilized, discourteous, arrogant, blunt & unfriendly waiters cum workers at the billing counter. I really dont want to generalize this to all of the people working there, but just the two people in specific, who were in-charge on the days I went. The first time I had a bad experience, I avoided arguing or giving a bad review considering that people have their ups and downs in a day and I did not want to make it an issue. However after another encounter today, its clear that this place hires people who are positively unethical and unrefined. If a customer asks for a TO-GO order and you expect them to come to the counter and collect it after sometime, you are supposed to let them know about it in advance. We are not getting things from you for FREE, for you to show such arrogance and make the customer wait without informing anything. The bad-mannered billing person just watched me sitting and waiting and after 40 minutes of wait ( I didnt want to rush them), & when i ask him if its ready, the idiot gives a cold look and murmurs to himself that my order is at the counter. When I went to the counter, he reads a wrong menu and asks if that is what I ordered. So much for thinking not to rush them in the first place. He doesnt even apologize for making me wait or not having made my order ready, takes the PHAV bread packet casually in front of me and goes to the kitchen, to start preparing it. I wanted to badly shout at him but he never came out after that knowing I was waiting at the counter. After another 15 mins, he came out and handed over the order to another person to hand it over to me and left back to the kitchen.. The PHAV bread was half toasted( just like his brain I guess) and had such a raw awful aroma. Dated 28th July 2016, this is for the bearded guy in black framed spectacles who wore a black shirt / t-shirt : JUST QUIT IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DO YOUR JOB! You are just a disgrace for other sincere people working in the place, if any. I really hope you get to see this!

Annapoorna Authentic Indian Cuisine

The restaurant has a casual and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for both families and friends to enjoy a delicious meal together. Annapoorna is also known for its affordable prices, making it a great option for anyone looking for high-quality Indian food at a reasonable price..It is a popular Indian vegetarian restaurant in Milpitas, and rightly so. It offers a wide range of authentic Maharashtrian dishes, including misal, poori Bhaji, vada pav, thalipeeth, etc.The highlight is their Puranpoli! It is known for its high-quality ingredients and freshly prepared dishes. The restaurant uses only the freshest vegetables, spices, and herbs to ensure that every dish is full of flavor and nutrition. The restaurant also offers a variety of gluten-free and vegan options, making it a great choice for people with dietary restrictions.

Hyderabad Dum Biryani

This place is a great find! I tagged along with my non- vegetarian friends ( I am a vegetarian ?) to this place since this is their favorite go-to places. To my surprise, this restaurant holds some of the yummiest veg items as well. Their garlic naans were the softest, their Makai koafta was too good, right amount of spices, one of the best that I had eaten in a long time ( usually at other places, either the curry is too sweet or bland). Their Gobi Manchurian was also great, fresh and crunchy.I went back to this place, ordered take outs for eggplant curry, palak pakora and veg biryani. Oh! And before I forget, their double ka meetha was out of the world, I haven’t had such yummy one even in Hyderabad to be very honest!!I wanted to leave this review because every time I try to order a new dish from here, it has been very satisfying.

Asian Bowl
790 E Tasman Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035, United States
We visited this place last Friday. We ordered Manchurian Sizzler, Malaysian Roti Prata,Passion Fruit Lemonade and Hazelnut Bliss. This place has good ambience and was not too crowded. The Malaysian Roti Prata was fresh, flaky and sauce was flavourful.Passion Fruit Lemonade was very refreshing and had real passion fruit pulp in it.The Hazelnut Bliss(Vietnamese Coffee) had a nice taste and we loved the flavor of the coffee. The Manchurian sizzler plate had Spring Rolls instead of fries(because they were out of fries). The spring rolls were crispy and tasty. The Veg Manchurian balls were crispy and had good taste. Fried rice and Noodles were a little bland but when combined with the sauce given both tasted very delicious. Everything was very tasty overall. But I think for 18$ the quantity was a little less(probably because of inflation, cant blame them). The fact that this place is fully vegetarian and all the dishes we ordered were flavourful, would make us go back to this place again to try out some more dishes. Best Indo Chinese food in Bay area.

Barbecued pork and shrimp rice roll $9.5Nest egg beef porridge $9.25Herbal Chicken Feet $9.5The three types are combined into a set to relieve each others fatigue. It is highly recommended. The rice roll itself is quite satisfactory, and its sauce is great. It is a salty soy sauce with a little scallion oil, but it is still a bit bland overall. Adding a little chili sauce to enhance the flavor is quite delicious. The beef porridge has the texture of moose porridge, which is very similar to Kinmen porridge and very smooth. It will feel bland when you first eat it, so take a few mouthfuls of rice rolls, especially the dried shrimps in the rice rolls. When you want to change the taste, take a mouthful of porridge. At this time, the light taste will suddenly become smooth and warm, like drinking. The soup can be eaten one bite at a time. A little green onion and shredded ginger added to the porridge can also enhance the flavor and add the finishing touch. The meat of the medicinal chicken feet is very soft and tender. You can separate the bones and flesh with your tongue. It tastes very good with the small cartilage. The taste of the medicinal food is also very mild. It removes the fishy smell while retaining the meaty taste. If eaten alone: rice rolls 80 points, porridge 70 points, chicken feet 85 pointsIf paired together, it will become 90 pointsIf the vegetable dirt on the dishes is not cleaned, points will be deducted.

Our office recently moved to the border of Fremont.Hardly any restaurants compared to our last location. I found this place near by and decided to give it a try. I have not tried their food yet, but their smoothies and Açaí Bowl are amazing. I build my own açaí bowl and it fills me up pretty good. The staff are very friendly and cheery. The atmosphere is comfortable and the decor are very cute. If you are looking for a good smoothie or a quick vegetarian bite, this is the place to be. ??

CRUST Sourdough Deli
760 E Tasman Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035, United States
Happened to stumble on this place during their soft opening. What a fantastic surprise! The sandwich is amazing with a fresh baked sourdough “crust”, boars head meat selection, and the perfect amount of fixings to go with it. There is the perfect variety of drinks and chips of both the standard variety (Lays, Doritos) as well as the more unique (dirty brand) flavors. I had a great dill pickle on the side and some spicy pepperoncini (available for self serve) as well.Pro-tip:Because it was their a soft opening, I was able to also sample their spicy spread which actually isn't that spicy (I eat spicy) but has a fantastic slightly smokey Sriracha flavor which I will add to my sandwich each time...or dip on the side.Super pro-tip:When it comes to fresh baked cookies I'm usually a chocolate chip purist at heart. But it also being their soft opening, I was able to sample the white chocolate macadamia with coconut shreds and the lemon. They're all amazing but you have to try the lemon! I can't quite put my finger on the flavor but it's a light lemon based flavor that reminds me of something I just can't put my finger on. Try it and tell me what you think! The location itself is a beautiful and clean design and service is EXTREMELY fast. I think I waited five minutes for my order if that. Perfect for the grab and go at lunch, or if you want to dine in, they have indoor seating and were installing a bunch of outdoor seating as well. They are only open during lunchtime but close enough to my work that I will definitely be back for this as a favorite.

Kakuna Sushi
75 S Abbott Ave, Milpitas, CA 95035, United States
This place is BOMB! My friends randomly discovered it and weve been coming here ever since. The fish is of good quality and very fresh, the rolls are flavorful and HUGE (like no joke, you only need ONE...TRUST ME), and the service is awesome. My favorite roll is the Umami but Ive also had the Aloha and Kakuna which are both delish.BTW, super affordable for sushi. Three rolls (remember, they are HUGE) and six pieces of nigiri (also big) is just $65. This is enough to feed a family of 4-5.The place is a little small, so if youre going for lunch, I would suggest getting there before noon. The first time I went, it got busy right about then and there were no tables left. The second and third time I went, it was not overly crowded, but I can see it getting busy about noon-ish. Not sure how this place does on the weekends or for dinners, but lunches seemed to get packed fast. This restaurant is in a standalone structure so theres plenty of parking.Would def go back and cant wait to take my family!Yay for good sushi in Milpitas!
