Tulsi Indian Eatery (Northridge)
19535 Nordhoff St Suite 50, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
The place has good vibes, that fresh and new look and menu tells you that this place got something unique than other Indian restaurants around. Very modern looking ambience, indoor and outdoor seating, the whole complex in newly built. We tried Vada Pav, Samosa, Sev Dahi Puri and Lilva Patties. The food was amazing. We no longer need to drive all the way to Artesia for such delicious food, we got it right here in Valley now. We are going to come back here and try Biryani, Makki de roti and saag and Idli Sambhar next time.Even though we enjoyed the food and experience here, I would like to give some constructive criticism for the improvement. The place is new and even though they have another location in DTLA, seems like staff were still struggling a bit to fulfill the order. I request owner NOT to americanize the food and keep it authenticate i.e. Serve Vada Pav in regular Desi Pav and dont try to make it fancy slider type looking(The taste of vada was awesome). You do not need to serve spinach salad or french fries, instead just increase the size/portion. The sweet chuteny was bit extra tangy(On the other side, your green chuteny was ON THE POINT, very different and authenticate from other places). Sev Dahi Puri should have more filling, it was almost empty. I know you guys just opened and such genuine feedback is needed for improvement.Overall, this is a MUST VISIT place for someone who loves Indian food.
Pieology Pizzeria
9118 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91325, United States
I wouldn't even rate this place a 0 it should be negative . I have been here multiple times and hope it would get better but no the staff isn't working half of the time I have to repeat what I want multiple times because they have AirPods in . The pizza press is broken ?!? And they tell me I can't get the crust I want and the only one they have is more in price . I get it anyway because I drove here they throw no toppings on and I see my pizza done and I'm standing there thinking maybe they are grabbing the ranch I ordered but no the workers are all on break with 5 pizzas on the counter fully finished . They come back and use the same cutter on all 5 pizzas . Then after another 15 min of standing there looking at my fishes pizza they walk over and give me the wrong one then argue and tell me it's the one I ordered . Finally I get the right one and tell them I ordered a ranch and guess what no ranch and I just wasted a dollar it's not about the dollar but why can't they just tell me they have no ranch when I order ranch . This place is always I hope anyone higher up sees this review and does something about this awful establishment I wouldn't recommend anyone goes here can't believe it has 4.2 stars I have not had 1 good experience here and I have been here 4-5 times . One word AWFUL!!
Yard House
9301 Tampa Ave Suite 216, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
I really don't think I've ever left a review for a restaurant BUT I knew I had to after eating here with Danielle as our server about a week ago. She was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout our dinner, I hate to be dramatic, but, it felt like (as a college student away from home) I was with family. She was so busy, yet helped guide us through not only the regular menu but the gluten allergy menu as well, listing all her favorites from both while asking us our preferences. She made sure we left with a “get home safe” and re-heating instructions for our leftovers because she said she'd hope someone would do it for her kids when they're away from her.The food was great, she helped two of us find gluten free beer (man, I miss beer), AND she even helped us all enjoy our meal the next day when we knew to heat the oven (NOT THE AIRFRYER!) a specific way so that both the regular and gluten free buns from our different meals would heat nicely without getting weirdly dry (like all gf bread does with too much heat). Also, as someone with a gluten allergy, she killed it in communicating with the chefs, because I didn't get even a little bit glutened… YAY!I wish I had gotten to speak to Danielle's manager— or anyone honestly— about what a great server she was because they need to know how freakin LUCKY they are to have her as an employee!!! She remains so deeply kind and human in a job that sometimes makes that hard (if you've ever worked food service… you know what I'm talking about lol). In conclusion, and from a poor college girl with dietary restrictions who really enjoyed my fancy night out on the town just a little more because of her, please give this woman a raise and let her know I— and my friends— really appreciated her.
Ikes Love & Sandwiches
19500 Plummer St Suite B-12, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
Never heard of this place, stopped by on a fluke craving a sandwich, found it online. It was the best vegetarian sandwich ive ever eaten from a quick restaurant. it was flavorful, it wasnt bland, the vegetarian and vegan options are fairly abundant, house bread is soft and crunchy at the same time, it was just a damned good sandwich, i really appreciated every bite. Next time im gonna sit and eat it there, while its still hot, my goodness thats gonna be eeeeven better!!
BurgerIM
1790 Northridge Mall, Salinas, CA 93906, United States
Decided to take a chance on BurgerIM since I had never had food from the place before. I ordered online since it's the most sensible option, especially considering our current circumstances. I choose a pick up time for 11:45am and that was pushed back to 12 by the system. No problem. I specified that I'd like store pick up and called a couple times before completing my order to see if that was actually possible and no one answered the phone. As instructed by the order system, I put in the special notes that I'd like curbside pick up. I arrive at the location at 11:58 am and then call the number at 12 noon so that I could again check on curbside pick up. Again, no answer. I send my girlfriend in to pick up the food and the staff knew nothing about my order, she stood around for 15-20 minutes, until finally someone from the kitchen comes out exclaiming “Aquontis!”. Seemed that had finally figured out there was indeed an order, they just had forgotten about it. We get home (4 minutes away from the location) with the food and it's cold, like it's been sitting around for quite some time. Reluctantly, we partake and it was nothing to brag about. I was left with a stomach ache for nothing short of 4 hours and my lady threw up everything she ate and spent the last few days curled up in bed unable to keep anything down. I know that we are enduring very trying times and I try to give companies much more thought and consideration, but unfortunately, I don't believe I will be back to visit the establishment for a long while. Thanks for reading my feedback.

Zaatar N More
9545 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
Absolutely delicious! The pizza wasnt greasy, the dough was hearty, and the toppings were fresh. My partner and I had the vegetarian and it was loaded with a nice assortment of veggies that were cooked thoroughly but not mushy. We also had some of their tasty yogurt cucumber salad, which would go perfectly on a hot summer day. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant seems to be a well-loved staple of the community, I saw several regulars come in to talk to the main chef. New favorite pizza place!
K-STOP
19480 Rinaldi St, Northridge, CA 91326, United States
Really well-made but it could have been a little more than basic Ddukbokki with K-stop only topping.Kimbop is top notch, fresh ingredients, well seasoned rice, perfectly rolled with right amount of rice.Buldak (spicy chicken) was tasteful overall, rice could have been a little more fresh but still amazing.Spotless clean restaurant is also a big plus.Only wish I have about this place is for them to provide a cup of water to dine in customers. I had to pay 2 dollars extra to drink a bottle of water.
Halal Biriyani Kabob House
9420 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
This place is fantastic! We never tried Afghan food before and wanted to try something commonly found in Afghanistan - when we went inside we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who walked us through the menu and gave their best recommendations. They recommended the bihari kabob for our intro to Afghan cuisine, and we wanted to try their chicken tikka masala because whenever it's on a menu anywhere, we always like to try. We got some garlic naan and cheese naan as well, and rasmalai for dessert. The bihari kabob was HEAVEN ON A PLATE. ORDER THIS! The meat was incredibly flavorful and better than any regular kebab you get elsewhere. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic as well! We have probably had close to 100 different chicken tikka masala's and they're all very different…some too spicy, some too tomatoey, but Biryani Kabob House's was VERY good. Very close to the best we've ever had - only one or two places we've been had better, and those were nicer sit-down Indian restaurants, which isn't really fair because it seems like this place focuses more on Pakistani cuisine. So overall, that was an excellent dish as well, and we would definitely order it again. The garlic naan and cheese naan were amazing! The cheese naan was on another level - you absolutely should get an order of it. It's addicting! And even the rasmalai for dessert was super good - it was actually homemade unlike so many other Indian and Pakistani restaurants that take the easy way out and buy desserts premade wholesale. I cannot stress how much you should be running to check this place out. You will be very happy with your meal!!
Valley Hindu Temple
18700 Roscoe Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
True Sanatan temple! Peaceful and spiritually charged place. People there are awesome! Respectful, happy and hopeful. This is why this temple is one of the best in California:- You can offer water, milk, etc on Shivalinga! (No other temple in 100 miles of radius offers that!)- Pipal Tree!- You can offer Sindur to Hanumanji!- You can offer oil to Shani Dev!- During each Indian religious day, they offer free Prasad! Indian food made by real Indian people! I haven't had that type of taste in any restaurant. For real!- Small Banquet Hall: Yes! You read it right! If you want a gathering of 50 people for any auspicious function, you can take permission from temple to host it here. There are fees but they are not too costly and this money goes towards temple's development and maintenance anyway!- All Gods in one place: Once you are in, with just your eye movement, you can see all gods happily looking at you! What a great experience!- Temple Community: Temple has a community that volunteers and organise small gathering for various spiritual and celebration reasons. People are respectful, humorous and humble.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
