Koyla Indian Restaurant
8140 Haven Ave #101, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
By far the best Indian cuisine not only in Rancho Cucamonga, but possibly Southern California. Excellent vegetarian options, fresh, non-greasy and very flavorful. This restaurant is a must visit if you’re interested in Indian dining.

Excellent addition to the restaurants at Victoria Gardens. Tried this for the first time and it felt like being in a healthier version of Chipotle. A lot of vegan and vegetarian options and the serving is actually good for 2. I placed my salad on top of the focaccia bread and it was the best idea ever. I suggest you get your dressing on the side if in case you couldn’t finish it, so you could bring it home without it being soggy.
The Impossible Shop
7815 Monet Ave, Victoria Gardens Ln, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
It's not an actual stand alone shop, it's a shared kitchen with Dog Hause— a non vegan restaurant. I walked around the entire Victoria gardens looking for it, there's no signage. Most of the menu also isn't there due to supply chain issues so you have to buy from dog haus. Honestly, this restaurant is just dog haus
Mezzaterranean

Cant believe I neglected to review this place. I try all the reputable Mediterranean food places in the area because I really enjoy this type of food. This place is top notch. The people that work there (ALL OF THEM) are very cordial and seem to take pride in what they do. The owners are quality businessmen, through and through and the food exemplifies this. Ill discuss what Ive tried. Im breaking them down by item, not by dish.Chicken Shawarma: white meat non-gyro style, very moist and flavorful, large portion (and Im a big eater). Excellent.Beef Shawarma: non-gyro style, lean, tender, packed with flavor unique from the chicken version, large portion. I dont like it because theres something in the spice mix that is unpalatable to me. This is not their fault, its a me thing.Lamb Shawarma: non-gyro style, tender, flavorful, lean, fantastic rich flavor, large portion. Excellent.Salmon: grilled or sauteed, dry, not flavorful, uncharacteristic of their typical quality. Dont get this if youre a picky eater and know how to prepare grilled salmon. Every place has at least one meh dish, this is theirs. I hate to even admit this because I love this place and the people that work there so much.Chicken Kabob: grilled, five pieces, adequate portion, seasoned right. The gentleman who usually cooks these knows whats up. Chicken kabobs are tricky because you dont want to over or under cook them. Then theres the issue with chicken getting that rubber texture. They get it right about 9/10 of the time here and never undercooked. If your kabob has a suspect texture LET THEM KNOW, theyll make it right. This is my go to dish now.Beef Kabob: grilled, five pieces, adequate portion, very beefy, lean (filet), good flavor. I think theyve improved these because I now prefer them to the chicken kabobs. In any case, try them. You might love them.Lamb Kabob: grilled, five pieces, adequate portion, lean, rich flavor. You should try this. I prefer the chicken and beef, but you should try these if you like lamb.Hummus: the best in the area. The right texture, moisture, oil, and flavor. The only hummus Ive tried that rivals it in the area is Mes Amis in Chino Hills (now closed) or maybe DVine in Brea. All the others are too smooth and taste... not yummy. Ha ha!Tabouleh: made to order, excellent.Mediterranean Salad: their version consists mainly of the lettuce with almost no cucumbers and tomatoes, but the flavor is very refreshing. Get it with the pepperoncinis (youll have to ask for them). This comes with every plate and the standard portion is huge. Again, the only places to rival their version is Mes Amis in Chino Hills or DVine in Brea.Rice: very simply prepared rice pilaf, moist, adequate portion, delicately seasoned, suitable.Bread: they dont bake it in house, but they buy it from a supplier who bakes it fresh each day. This bothers some people, but you have to remember a few things: 1) Costs would rise significantly if they bake it on site; 2) When you eat there, they toast and slice it to perfection (delicious); 3) if youre taking it to go, you can toast it at home or ask them to toast it before packing it (this will negatively affect the texture which is why they dont do it unless you ask). No, its not the best bread available, but its suitable and they give you as much as you request. The default is two full circles. There you have it. Hope all that detail helps someone.
Yard House
12473 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
This was a cute little spot. One of the busier restaurants on the strip. The environment was nice even though it was quite busy. It was nice and relaxing. The food was cooked to perfection even though we had to wait a little while to receive it, which is understandable with how busy they were. The only issue that I had was our waitress was not very attentive to our table and when we asked for a minute she would come back 35 to 40 minutes later to take our order. Then we had to wait 1 hour for appetizers to start coming out and only one appetizer came out to the table and we had to wait another 20 minutes for the other appetizers to come out which came out with our entrees. Again. It was busy so I understand why the food took so long to come out of the kitchen but our waitress never came to let us know or check on us or give us refills. After our food came out she asked if we needed anything else. We said yes refills and salt. She came back with the refills and not with the salt. Then she said that they were supposed to bring the salt. I dont know why they didnt and then she took off towards the kitchen and by the time she came back with the salt we were already done eating, ready for boxes and dessert. Then when we were paying she dropped the check and then it took about another 35 minutes for her to come and pick it back up. I dont know if she was new or she was serving in a new section but her service was very MIA. I guess you can say everything else is wonderful. We were celebrating my sons and his girlfriends college graduation so at least we were able to pass time. Reminiscing and enjoying family company. The Yard House did supply. Congratulations! Free desserts for the graduates which was nice and I believe we will in the near future, return to this location since like I said the food was excellent.
Taco Bell
6579 Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
This place was terrible, aside from the disappointment in food which I've ordered before and was content this was the worse. Now to get serious the drive thru worker who had no name tag was beyond unmotivated to be there, looked fed up and was completely unsanitary. After touching money in the register and scratching his nose with both hands he served two beverages and his hands completely covered the lid bottom with out washing his hands which then went in to his pockets, food missing from my order is expected at this location, so wasn't surprised when I was missing food. The lack of training, awareness and unsanitary work habits is quite frightening and alarming. Please approach this location with caution. My family and I go to this Taco Bell because it's close to home and it's convenient. However the workers there are always very unprofessional management really needs to step in. I don't understand why anybody would work somewhere where they are completely unhappy. There is an older white woman medium size who is very nasty the way she speaks to customers even threatening to fight them. Again someone needs to step in! this place is absolutely the worst!!!
Citrus Kitchen Meal Prep
10431 Lemon Ave unit h, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737, United States
So, I cant believe the experience we just had Saturday at Citrus Kitchen. I mean, its a great alternative to cooking at home, and its great for my elderly mom who lives alone. Normally, Anthony takes care of my mom and helps her with a smile, and overall great service, getting my moms weekly order together. But today, Ryan, the apparent owner was so nasty and rude. First of all, he was condescending, then wasnt even listening to what my mom wanted, and third he started shouting things like You cant just get what you want.So this guy with serious anger n control issues, told my mom to get. If youre paying $80 for your order, the least you should be able to do is pick what sides you want with your meals. I dont think well ever go back. This guy is completely out of control. If hes really the owner, he really needs some psychiatric help. If he was lying to my elderly mom, he should be fired and get psychiatric help.UPDATE:After getting a heartfelt apology from Ryan, he gave me Mike the owners contact information. He was very nice and sent an apologetic and heartfelt text to my mom.She was very happy to get this text as this is all she wanted, a genuine apology and to know this wont happen to her or anyone again.
Taco Bell
12789 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
Horrible customer service today Saturday 7/8 at about 8pm from the girl working the register/drive-thru. I ordered here last time and even though she gave me attitude for asking for hot sauce last time, when supposedly they were out, then magically two customers later I see her hand out hot sauce to another customer who ask, then wants to drop it in my hand. I let slide, because everyone has there days, but then again today. I walk in, order off the app and wait for my order or name to be called just like last time or anytime I've order Taco Bell off their new system or off the app now. There wasn't a red flag until I watched this lady come in after me and order for her and her kids and get their order before I do. I go up and ask if my order is ready and she turns around and the order that has been sitting there for at this point I don't know how long, just so happens to be mine. Of course, then of course she didn't put any hot sauce in my bag even though once again I added it to the app. She wants to give me an attitude for asking for the hot sauce, then she drops it in my hand, and then purposely I feel adds ice to the tip top, like if I'm not going to notice or something. Good thing I was eating there and just dumped the drink out and refilled it, but this is the worst customer service I have had and that's saying something for a fast food location. My expectations are not that high. I would never visit this location and I would warn others to never visit this location as long as she is working the customer service counter. Do better Taco Bell please.
Nekter Juice Bar
10798 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
On July 11th 2020 I ordered a banana berry bowl. I asked that no Acai be placed in the bowl die to food allergies. I asked that the Cherry?? be used instead of the Acai. I let the cashier know multiple times to please swap out the two items. She said yes no problem I made sure to put in the ticket no Acai. I used my reward points of 400 for the bowl. When I was handed my purchase it had two bowls inside. I let the workers know I only ordered one. And that I think the additional bowl belongs to someone else. They took the extra bowl. On the bowl I took it is written on top no ACAI. I asked the girl ate you sure this has no ACAI in it because I am allergic. She said yes I made it myself. The bowl looks exactly like the photos with ACAI in it. My gut said it was wrong but she was adamant that it had no ACAI.I ate half the bowl, but my gut kept telling me something was wrong. The next morning I woke to a breakout on my face and both arms. The bowl clearly had ACAI in it. Thank goodness I did not eat all of it, because I could have gone into anaphylactic shock and would have to use my epiPen and go to the Emergency room. This was the first time I ordered a bowl from Nekter, and these were the results. I am disappointed on so many levels. People need to understand and completely pay attention to what is ordered and stated by a customer. Food allergies ate nothing to be played with. Not a happy customer at all.P.S. I kept the receipt and have the 2nd half of the bowl still in my freezer for proof of my claims.Tiffany P.

Dumpling Master
7220 Day Creek Blvd #149, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, United States
I had high hopes for this place since I had not had dumplings in forever. Drive by the place and checked out the Google reviews and thought I was in for a treat. It was a Sunday after a long hike, late afternoon. Not many people in the place. I took a seat by a window. The floor under the table was filthy and I tried not to smear around the food droppings. The overall appearance of the restaurant looked good enough though.I ordered a green tea, chicken lemongrass dumplings, and noticed they offer a Tonkatsu ramen which is what I often get after my hikes so I get that too.I was taken aback when the server came back with hot water in a paper cup. Turns out everything was served in disposable containers. What surprised me even more was that the green tea is Lipton, nothing at all what I expected which was something that perhaps had more Asian authenticity. The ramen arrives and the presentation looked decent. Then I tasted it.Bland. The broth had zero flavor profile. Plus, it had no body which meant it wasn't a real tonkatsu broth. I tried putting in chili oil to help but it just made it spicy. Guess that's what I get for ordering a Japanese dish at a Chinese restaurant.Dumpling time. You would think this is their time to shine. Just looking at the wrapper I could tell these were not fresh. They tasted only OK. I thought my hunger would power me through but I could force down only half the dumplings having lost my appetite from disappointment. There wasn't really an opening to comment because no one came to check on me and see how things were tasting. Even when they brought the check they didn't ask if I wanted to take the dumplings home (I really didn't).Sadly, from this experience, I would not return.
