Thai Dishes Restaurant
707 S Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Tonight we celebrated my aunts 80th birthday. A friend recommended Thai Dishes Redondo Beach. I dont know when Ive had a delivery dinner (or any dinner, really) that was so good. We ordered coconut chicken soup, Pad Thai, spicy Thai fried rice, and Kang Ped Curry. I cannot say enough how wonderful each of the entrees were. The soup had a strong and tangy galengal-lime-lemongrass flavor, offset with the sweetness of the coconut. It is hard to say which was better: the pad thai with a mildly peanut vinegar idea, or the curry* which was utterly complex yet light with notes of basil and cilantro in a sweet coconut broth. (*Note - the curry does not come with rice, so be sure to order some.) Willie, who I think may be the owner, delivered the food himself. He also took the order, and customized the order for our party readily and happily. For example we asked for no mushrooms in the soup - Sure! Can every item be mild? - of course!Could you add egg to the spicy Thai fried rice? Sounds good!He is very personable and friendly. This restaurant could shut down all other Thai food places around, if people only knew. Ive lived here all my life, and this was my first time. Check it out, for sure!
The Green Temple

A great restaurant - great menu, great meals, great staff. I´m not vegetarian but I did not mind the fact that this is a vegetarian restaurant, since the food was exceptional... Perfect!
Chicken Maisn
2709 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, United States
This is a restaurant that I recently discovered with friends who live and work in the area and their food is fresh and their service is also great. Everyone that eats there races about their chicken but since I am a recent vegetarian I only get to live through them vicariously.
Table Manners
1611 S Catalina Ave #150, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Ate at Table Manners for the first time tonight.First I must comment on the staff. They are all incredibly friendly and professional. Every staff member that would pass by us would greet us and ask if we needed anything. Fantastic start...Now onto the food: There were four of us. We ordered the Social Salad, fish n chips, Salmon Panzanella and Black Garlic Honey Habanero Chicken sandwich. This is going to be super easy as all of the dishes were simply fantastic! The fish n chips and the chicken sandwich were crispy, but NOT greasy and incredibly flavorful. The black garlic honey habanero sauce was spectacular!! The salmon was cooked perfectly with a lightly seasoned crust. The portions were generous to say the least. The prices are moderate and what youd expect from a restaurant in Riviera Village. While dining, the co-owner, John K. visited our table twice to ensure that we were pleased with our selections and to ensure that our beverages topped off! Again, great service!John also explained what he and his business partner had in store for the entire building. Needless to say, we were very excited. John and his business partner own several restaurants and its pretty darn evident that they know exactly what they are doing and how to treat their guests. In conclusion, I was sad to see Chez Melange go. Equally, we couldnt be more pleased that it was replaced with such a fun, hip and well run restaurant that seems to really want to dazzle their guests with delicious food and outstanding customer service. Trust me, they do both and incredibly well.
Nekter Juice Bar
403 N Pacific Coast Hwy Suite 100, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Just had a horrible experience here, but reading reviews seems pretty consistent with this Redondo Beach location.Essentially ordered, walked outside, as is consistent with current procedure at all restaurants and sat at a table. The server came out and asked us about specifics on our order on 2 different occasions, then crickets. 20 min later my wife went in and told the server we still hadn't received our order to which he had a “uh-oh” response. 10 min later a different server brings us our order which was placed on the table reserved for Uber eats. The bowls were completely melted. He said he had a ton of orders so we'd be waiting a while to get it remade without having melted for 30+ minutes. Apparently getting orders correct before moving on to new orders is not part of the business model at this particular location. I asked him if he thought I should just eat it melted, he's reply was “well yeah”. Since I felt $22.50 was a bit high for acai soup, I said I just wanted a refund. This is when he really rose to the occasion, and threw my money to me, going all over the counter. We retired from this nightmare and went to Bowlology for the best service, best bowl we'd ever had.Being treated well, and working with young professionals that know their product and take pride in their service is delicious. If the owner does not want to adjust the culture of the employees at this location, I encourage you to use your power as a consumer and give your business to deserving teams that understand the value of a quality product and service, particularly during these uncertain times.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in town. Super flavorful and fresh ingredients -- I love all of their salads and bowls. Owners are super cool as well. Highly recommend!
Kin-D Thai Kitchen
2110 Artesia Blvd unit A, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, United States
Food is still good compared to the previous Thai Express. Got the pad se ew beef and thai tea. Tastes similar. They painted/remodeled the front area which looks nice. They had 4 cooks in there running the line compared to the 2 prior older thai ladies that were machines.Only real criticism is they jacked up the prices and decreased the portion sizes. Used to be about $18 for my order, now $25 and the tray is less full. Such is life. Ill probably hit it a few more times with the whole family and get their take. Similar thing happened to Rice Things down the way.
Mychals Caf
2302 Artesia Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, United States
Stopped by Mychal's cafe on Friday with my mom and sister. It was around 10:30/11 am and I was hungry enough to eat more than the typical muffin and a hot drink. I ordered a grilled cheese plus bacon with a green salad, a chai latte with oat milk (they have tons of milk options!), and a snickerdoodle cookie. While waiting for my food I walked around and admired the artwork on the walls (created by Mychal's students), the bright lighting, and the overall open airy feeling of the cafe. Shortly after we sat at a table, a staff member brought my chai followed closely by my sandwich and salad. The sandwich was perfect, it had the most beautiful grill marks on the bread! Not too cheesy, not too much bacon, not too small, not too large. Plus the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. I should note I'm a notoriously picky eater. The service was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other options on the rather large and varied menu.
Sausalido Cafe
3566 Redondo Beach Blvd, Torrance, CA 90504, United States
Came here on a whim due to hunger pangs as my car was being worked on by my mechanic. I was greeted by a man by the name of Julius and his lovely wife Lucy both whom I correctly assumed were the owners. They had a dignified and most welcoming countenance about them. I ordered the Dragon noodles with chicken and a house made strawberry soda. I must say, though he admitted that this was his version of pad Thai, it rivals the best of them out there. It was scrumptious and had perfectly balanced flavors that makes you want to keep shoveling in your mouth. No joke, some of the best noodles I've had which is surprising coming from an unassuming little cafe. You can taste the care that went into this dish. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The lesson here is this: don't overlook little businesses such as these for you will be pleasantly surprised just as I was with this little cafe called Sausalido Cafe on a non descript strip mall. Let's support one another by supporting small businesses such as these! Man, those noodles SLAP!! ??
