Zest Kitchen
2620 Sunset Blvd #1, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
Great vegetarian restaurant with a large and varied menu. Hot and cold selections, sandwiches, salads, lots more. All of our food was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and the facility was small but clean. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be returning for more meals.
Pizza Guys
4920 Pacific St suite a, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
My mom recommended them to me and I was so disappointed. The lowest quality pizza I've ever gotten. It also came with a strange smell. We ate it because it was late at night and we didn't have any other food and I've felt super sick all day from it. I've never had issues with any other local pizza place. I called to tell them and they didn't really seem to care. Avoid this place if you don't want food poisoning. We think it might've been the ham that was funky.
Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
4819A Granite Dr, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
Normally Ive never had problems here, but today was odd. My wife and I are at the hospital waiting for our daughter to be born. My wife did the online order and I grabbed it real quick. Dropped it off with my mom and kids and headed back to the hospital. Not realizing there was a kids pizza I didnt know about. We called from the hospital and either the guy was drink or stoned. Kept asking if we could bring in the receipt for proof, we stayed that we were in the hospital and her sister would pick it up. And again he asked if we had the receipt, her sister stopped in there not even 5 minutes after we called and its like he completely forgot that he was just on the phone with us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Biryani & Chaat, located at 4800 Granite Dr B-11 in Rocklin, CA, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Alex and Gary, who are absolutely amazing managers and clearly passionate about their restaurant. The first thing that struck me was the authenticity of this South Indian gem. As someone who loves Tamil Nadu cuisine, I was thrilled to see such a wide array of delicious dishes on the menu. I started my culinary journey with the onion pakoras, and let me tell you, they were divine! Crisp, flavorful, and reminiscent of my moms homemade cooking, these pakoras melted in my mouth with each bite.To complement the appetizers, I tried the Badam-geer, an almond drink that took me straight to drink heaven! The chunks of real almond were a delightful surprise, adding a unique touch to this already heavenly beverage. For the main course, I indulged in the Paneer Kadai and 2 Bhature, and wow, what a treat it was! The kadai paneer was hands down the best Ive ever tasted, perfectly spiced and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The generous amount of ghee added a richness to the dish that elevated its flavors to another level. The crispy capsicum pieces were a delightful contrast, adding a burst of freshness to each bite. And the bhature? Fluffy, soft, and simply irresistible! To round off this culinary adventure, I savored some authentic filter coffee that transported me back to the days of my moms lovingly brewed coffee. The service throughout my meal was friendly and efficient, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. One of the best parts about Biryani & Chaat is that all this deliciousness comes at very reasonable prices, making it a true gem in the Rocklin community. I cannot recommend this place enough and am so glad to see such a fantastic addition to our culinary landscape. Biryani & Chaat has definitely won me over as a loyal customer, and I cant wait to return for another taste of their incredible dishes!

Wallys Cafe (Rocklin - Granite Dr)
4800 Granite Dr B-11, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
If I could rate Wally’s higher I totally would. I love every thing about this little locally owned restaurant: quality and creativity of the food (so fresh and delicious), variety of food on the menu (including vegetarian options), prices are reasonable and the fact that they are a local and super friendly outfit. I am now living in Texas and even in the Houston area I don’t get this level of Mediterranean deliciousness. I was in town and ordered the Pomegranate chicken with a delicious and super fresh side salad dressed lightly with a vinaigrette, the lentil soup, and as always falafel. They give you these beautiful little baklava as dessert and they are sooooo buttery and sweet! The chicken is tender and fresh and perfectly seasoned. The pomegranate syrup is divine. Rice was fluffy and delicious as well, the perfect side. I ate for three weeks in restaurants all over the nation in August and I can tell you this was my favorite meal. I can’t wait to come back and see them again soon! (They have two locations that I know of in the Rocklin/Lincoln area)
Wallys Cafe (Rocklin - Sunset Blvd)
2110 Sunset Blvd Unit 600, Rocklin, CA 95765, United States
We love to eat at Wallys. Everyone is warm, friendly, and thoughtful. Portions and selections are generous (we always have enough left over for another meal), and the food is delicious. Im a vegetarian and there are plenty of options for me, while my husband enjoys the meat options. The restaurant is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Definitely add to your dine in/take out (support the restaurant and go pick it up yourself) rotation.
Chullas Cafe
6220 Stanford Ranch Rd Ste 200, Rocklin, CA 95765, United States
This is our new favorite restaurant! The food is amazing, the place is clean and the staff is super friendly. The owner, Tamba, greeted us with a hearty welcome and cheerful smile. The whole staff seemed to genuinely care about our experience and really put in a lot of effort. We had the Garlic Parmesan Wings, AfroRibs, and the Tanjier Stew with a Whole Fried Red Snapper. Fresh Hibiscus Tea to drink. The three plates easily will make six to eight meals. The portions are very generous. Seriously, I hope youre hungry. The wings were huge and crispy. The garlic concoction on them is fermented which imparts a unique flavor Ive not had before. I usually pass over chicken wings but my wife likes them, so we ordered them. I couldnt stop myself. Theyre so delicious. The ribs made me feel like Korean royalty. Gochujang and sesame combined with a West African spice palette. Tender juicy meat on the bone and once again, very generous portions. Finally, Tangier Stew with a Whole Fried Snapper. They mean whole... as in eyeballs, bones, tail, head, all of it. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, just perfect. The Tanjier Stew is a peanut based soup that is similar to Thai Satay, but its thinner and savory rather than sweet. Its paired with garlic jasmine rice. My wife is not much of a rice fan, yet couldnt put down the spoon. The hibiscus tea is sweet but also spiced. It is non alcoholic and served cold, but somewhat reminded me of mulled red wine or German Gluhwein.I highly recommend this place. I added a photo which was taken after we had already started eating so keep in mind the portionsare bigger than the photo. My wife held out her hand for scale.Well definitely be back!
Pottery World Cafe
4419 Granite Dr Suite A, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
Food was great, yes. The man we had as our server was also wonderful. Reason I put 3 was because of the extremely horribly rude lady that is older with purple short hair (at the front when you walk in). PLEASE TRAIN HER TO HAVE SOME BASIC HUMAN RESPECT. It wasnt only me but my friends that were treated rudely. We just came in and asked one question about the dessert, she answered my question like I was one of the stupidest people shes seen and even got an eye roll while she was walking away. She ignored my friend entirely when she asked her a question. Again we simply walked in and got this treatment from this lady. She was extremely rude and condescending to us. If shes there Id rather not come again. Not worth being treated like that. Upset that we had to run into her again after our great waiter and food and experience that horrible personality again. Lady I hope you see this and someone talks to you about this because how you treat others is absolutely not okay. There is NO REASON you should be acting like that in public. Dont throw your mood and bad attitude at others.
Granite Rock Grill
5140 Pacific St, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
My friend recommended trying this place out because he knows how much I enjoy a good breakfast place. My go-to places are Fox and Goose and Tower Cafe. Both are perennial best in the city breakfast places.Granite Rock has much more variety for different diets with a vegetarian and protein section of the menu. They have more options for omelets and a fabulous burger. Their biscuits have a great wow factor, and the front of house staff can match many top Sacramento options.I was not disappointed, and that is saying a lot, considering I drove 30 miles to get here.Next, I will try their sister restaurant in Folsom (the name is different, but they mention it on the menu I posted here).
