The Creperie Cafe
1123 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
As a group with vegetarian and vegan needs, this was such a pleasant surprise. Not only did the layered flavors harmonize, but the staff were all engaging and informative. I am not sure if the person prepping the food was the owner or manager, but he came out each time we were there (on vacation) and made sure everything was made the way we requested. I am not sure why there were not people lined up out the door like at other restaurants in the area that were not at the level of this cafe, but selfishly, we enjoyed not having to wait. We will definitely be back!
Taco Bell
1830 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
Cant really say much here. Typical Taco Bell...that at times is really good and 9ther times rather poor. The food quality, like most massive food chains is fairly consistent, taste wise...but like all of these types of places...the quality falls squarely on the crews working there.Sometimes the food is put together with care and produces something which can look nearly as good as the menu pictures. Other times, the food is hastily and uncaringly assembled and barely resembles anything intentionally created for sale. This all points toward the leadership of each restaurant and how the Manager, Supervisor...or even Shift Lead works their shift to help motivate and hold crew members to standards.Anyway, this particular Taco Bell seems to have their best leadership during the lunch time. Each time Ive been there during lunch...I receive HOT food, put together well and looks and tastes like the menu items. Further, they nearly never make mistakes on the order...which being an old time Taco Bell consumer means I special order many items to recreate items no longer on the daily menu. This store...during the mid day shift...does a great job.The rest of the time...its a bit hit or miss.

This place is amazing! They hooked me on the chicken and then they started doing carne asada and that is our new favorite!Definitely get the meals, they are an amazing value (come with beans, rice, tortillas, pickled onions--my favorite, grilled peppers and whole onions, and salsa--I recommend the dark red). While I absolutely love the refried beans (they are awesome to dip chips in!), their charro beans are sooo good too.Every time we go, we also get the guacamole, which is awesome (we order no jalapeños in it). I have also tried their cactus salads and rice dessert and love both of those as well. When family is in town, we order the full steak and whole chicken meals, and always have left overs (feeds the four adults and lots of kids or probably 6-8 adults with the two meals--but you may want to order a few extra tortillas). One thing to remember, this place does get quite busy (because it is so good), so if you are ordering in prime dinner time, try to order at least 30 minutes before you want to pick it up. You could probably also call in earlier and tell them what time you want it ready, havent tried that.I cant believe anyone ever wrote a negative review, this place is a Seaside locals favorite!
Angelinas Bakery
1725 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
We were beginning our search for a bakery to make our wedding cake. We interviewed many bakeries that claimed to bake wedding cakes but we soon discovered that they seemed to only make wedding cakes from a list of basic cakes..... What was interesting was that they all seemed to have the same list..... We began to get discouraged. Someone told us about Angelinas in Seaside, CA.We visited Angelinas and began discussions...... One of the things that seemed to cause a lack of interest on the part of all the previous bakeries was that we were interested in having a carrot cake for our wedding cake. When we began our discussions with Angelinas we mentioned that we were considering carrot cake, Angelinas gracious staff didnt even flinch. They told us it could be done.We began thinking of possibly having alternate layers of other types of cake, not just carrot. We decided on a simple three layer cake, but were still considering wanting something else in addition to the carrot cake.Angelinas staff was more than accommodating, and very patient to say the least. We finally settled on carrot cake, Italian rum and lemon custard for the 3 tier cake...... but I (the groom) still wasnt satisfied..... I still felt there was something missing. My fiance told me to make the decision regarding what else to do...... I couldnt make up my mind..... but finally the decision was made with Angelinas staff. We were now looking forward to a 3 tier cake of carrot, lemon custard and Italian rum layers..... WITH 2 individual half sheet cakes, one of carrot and the other of Italian Rum.Next the decision was to be made on how to decorate the cake..... So then the research was on.We decided to have the some orchids cascading down from the top layer. We showed some samples to Angelinas staff..... They understood. The BLUE orchids were supplied two days before the wedding. On our wedding day (Nov 9th), Angelinas staff showed up at our venue ON TIME and I was called outside to see the cake/s in their delivery vehicle...... I distinctly remember my immediate reaction as WOW !!!I was blown away by the beautiful wedding cakes. Angelinas staff prepared a most delicious combination for us. Angelinas staff is wonderful, gracious, friendly and professional. Angelinas made us feel as though our desires were not impossible to attain. We love Angelinas and would sincerely recommend them to anyone desiring perfection...... even something different.
German Restaurant Stammtisch
1204 Echo Ave, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
Great food if youre into all things pork. Mom loved the house plate, solid savory flavors.A few problems though:- absolutely no healthy or any vegan options. The very overpriced vegetarian platter is just a set of sides with no protein.- very poor options for non-pork, 1 fried chicken and a couple of steak entrees only.- 1 (ONE!) high chair for the whole restaurant. Not very kid-friendly.- bottled water only.Bottom line: worth trying, but make sure you check out the menu beforehand.
The Oven Pizzeria
720 Broadway Ave, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
The Oven PizxeriaSomewhat a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Nestled in the new upcoming Developing area of Seaside,CA On Obama way.The oven pizzeria has great parking right outside its doors on Obama way. Very safe area with plenty of light and free parking. Very new and clean area of town. This place has great tasting garlic twist which makes for a great appetizer. The twist had a great balance of ingredients.. Not an over bearing taste of garlic and very soft. Easy to consume unaccompanied with a breathable red tomatoe sauce. You can choose from a fountain drink or bottles for beverages with free refills. They even have a tiny bar area if your looking for beer on tap. The bar provides about 3 to 5 bar stools to relax on.I had a NY style thin crust pizza for 2 divided into 8 pieces. Great tasting pizza with perfectly balanced ingredients. Thin crust was cooked to perfection. It didnt take more than 15 min for the pizza to be ready. My partner and i enjoyed our garlic twist first before the pizza. Garluc twist took around 8 minutes to be prepared. Both pizza and twist werent too hot right out of the oven to take a straight bite. The pepperoni and green peppers tasted fresh. Great consistency with the cheese and sauce. No repulsive grease. Graded cheese and pepper available free of charge. Also pizza by the slice available.Amazing staff with a great smile. A variety of amazing dishes besides the pizza. The place is well lit from the inside with limited seating in the inside and 2 outside tables. A couple of TVs displaying entertainment.$$$ on the price but definitely worth every penny. The place was around 30 min away from closing but did not feel rushed at all to finish our food.Perfect location, plenty of parking near or around, very safe, Great customer service with impeccable ingredients. I will definetly dine here again. Between the other pizza place just up obama wsy and The Oven..The Oven takes the Slice..
Tricycle Pizza Order Online In Person By Phone

Fabulous pizza! My parents, my adult sisters and I went here when we came into Monterey for the weekend. We each got a different kind, which yeah, was a little expensive... but it was so good! The crust was delicious- chewy, not too thin or too thick, flavorful (especially with the chili oil, yummmmm). The sauce was a little thin, I mean there could have been more but I also like a saucy pizza, so thats just up to taste. Cheese good, toppings EXCELLENT. We got mushroom, mushroom and sausage, spicy pepperoni, and the daily special which was a white pizza with truffle oil and specialty mushrooms. My pic has all of them side-by-side, haha!Definitely personal size, unless youre like my older sister who was so stuffed she couldnt finish hers (so I did...).The only weird thing was the Christian rock music blaring.... just turn it off, right? We dont need music playing our way through dinner.... We can talk to each other, hopefully.
Pho Fresh Restaurant
1988 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
This is the most exciting new opening in Monterey. Forget SaltWood, we have enough expensive sea-food places. Im sure its great, but this place is bringing a combination of authenticity and freshness you cant get too many other places. The interior is brand new and pristine, with a large bubble tea and snow ice menu on the wall, which may deceive you into thinking this place is desert-focused and the food might be uninteresting. You are wrong. The #2 summer rolls are like a super-condensed Bahn Mi, the crepe/lettuce wrap is a healthy, herby party, and the Com Tam broken rice combo plates are a trip. I recommend #31 (add egg) as a sampled your first time to try almost everything. The menu is pretty clear but doesnt really mention the substitutions and additions, but just clarify things with your server and you will get something amazing. This place really brings a bay area legit Asian flavor to Sea-Side, while being fresh and affordable. We will be regulars.
The Butter House
1760 Fremont Blvd Suite B-1, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
This was our first time going there. Long story short, the wife and I took a short weekend anniversary getaway to Monterey, Ca. for our 19th.The foodie she is, my wife researched a number of places that had decent to good ratings and chose The Butter House. We chose three food items (one to go), coffee for each and water with lemon for each. Service was friendly, professional and fast. My omlette was good but nothing extraordinary and my country potatoes were good. They served me what I believe to be a strawberry puree with my English muffin that was delicious though! My wife choose the tri-tip breakfast sandwich with fruit as a side. We both loved it. The meat was delicious and tender enough to eat by itself. My biggest gripe is THEM NOT HAVING OUTDOOR HEATING since COVID-19 regulations limited dining to outdoors. All in all Id give a 3.5 if that was an option due to my omlette by itself being a 3 star item and lack of heat on a 50°F morning, but I dont feel they should be penalized for the rating systems lack of a half star option.Ive posted pictures of the menu and the third item we ordered to go. It is a pork belly fried rice with a fried egg. Good, but FOR MY PERSONAL TASTE Ive had better tasting fried rice.Hope this helps and good eating!PS: The preview photos are blurry. Im hoping they dont upload that way as the originals are very high quality photos.
