Yesterday was my familys first experience with Athena Grill and I have to say..What an impression it made!!First a small back story then my review. I am 95% Armenian 5% Greek which, according to my Greek side makes me ? Greek!I LOVE the foods of my people and am picky to a fault!Now to review..Walking in already had me hooked!The smell was like walking into my Greek Nonas home (Godmother)I already scoped the menu so I knew my sites were set on one thing!The bright white and blue and being on the waterfront was a lovely setting and my 12 year old usually wild child was enthralled by the beauty of the water and boats! He even remembered his manners to the lovely staff and used a napkin like a human!Now for the best part..The food!!!I had just talked to my husband about Pastitcio for a WEEK and here after a long day of house hunting we stumbled on this gem!Pastitcio for me and a beautiful bowl of avgolemono (chicken soup!)My heathen husband and son had bacon cheeseburgers and fries, although AMAZING, who does that? You dont travel to Greece for a stadium hot dog! Lol!Now my beautiful pastitcio arrived, portioned with some seriously delicious green peas!My first bite into the pastitcio I seriously almost cried! My Godparents almost 30 years gone, and ? Greek couldnt have done better! It was like my Nonas hands made that food with her love and care!I really felt the love in this food and cant wait to go back!I also want to thank Shelly who I had the pleasure of meeting for her warmth and time!10/10100/100Check them out..Just dont be a heathen like my guys and your first visit get Bacon cheeseburgers! (Second visit maybe, and incidentally, fries were DELICIOUS!)
Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza

You know what? I was going to order from here and then I went online and saw the prices. $30 for a take and bake pizza is absolute insanity and its disgusting that the prices are that high. You guys are raking people over the coals and theres no way that anyone should ever have to pay that much for pizza that isnt even cooked. Even when you go into a store and get a frozen pizza its no more than like $15 even at the most expensive grocery store. Why would I pay over double that for you guys to not cook my pizza either? I understand inflation but youre taking advantage of people and its wrong. Theres no reason anyone should have to spend that much money on a pizza that isnt even cooked!!! I will never be spending my money with this company ever again. Disappointing that a place that doesnt even cook peoples food and is basically giving you a grocery store Pizza is charging such high prices. You guys put toppings on top of dough!! Theres no reason to charge that much!! Stop Being Greedy

Dont miss the buttermilk fried mushrooms with the jalapeno ranch... they disappear as fast as they appeared. A great starter while you struggle over which entree to choose from. They all look so good.On this visit, I selected the braised short ribs...my brother went with the fried chicken...and another selected a salad for her meal followed by the rissotto, which is available in a vegetarian version. We went there for Mothers Day and was so disappointed. We wont ever go back. It took forever for us to get our food. The food was so bland as if they didnt use any seasoning; not even the basic salt and pepper. I ordered the Missing Link omelet and it was so bland that I had to add salt, pepper and sour cream just to be able to eat it. The homestyle potatoes that come with it were so bland that I added salt, pepper and tabasco and it was STILL bland. My dad ordered the crab sandwich and found that they canned crab meat (he uses the same crab meat on his nachos so he knows) on a sweet bread. He ordered a side of fries and they seemed like they were the frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. My mom ordered an omelet and it was also bland but hers had avocado on it so it helped with the taste. However, her homestyle potatoes tasted like fish (so nasty). While my mom was waiting for the restroom she had a clear line of sight of the kitchen and what she saw made her stomach turn. She said that the homestyle potatoes were sitting out (not covered or anything) and one of the cooks that was making a sandwich had wiped his hands (not washed) on a rag that was sitting out before he finished making the sandwich. I question the food that the people on here are saying it was good food because the food we had was so far from good. We were so disappointed that I just spent time writing a long review. THATS how disappointed and disgusted we were.

Wanted to try a new pizza. Got mediums garlic chicken with green chilis & curry chicken. Both were really good! Mild spice/heat but very minimal (Im not big in spicy). Filled with toppings, makes for being very filling. Nice!Order wasn't ready on time last week (initial review), had to wait 15 min, but since it tasted so good, and I'm a nice guy, gave it 4*'s. Ordered today, waited 20min before leaving (anticipated ready-by was 10min). Got there 28min after order, the guy said “we didn't check computer for email, we'll start it now [chicken curry calzone & meat-lovers pizza]. Next time call directly & we'll get it done faster.” Kinda defeats the purpose of using an app & rewards from using card. Dropping from 4* to 2* (pizza really is good).

This Establishment is terrible for military and groups because of their customer service. We had a going-away with 12 people and 2 kids. When I arrived, I told the waitress I was ordering my chimmichunga to go because I had to leave ASAP. Im the last person to get my food which was fine because I was the last to arrive. As she hands me my food in a to-go, I hand her my card so I can pay and leave. She dismisses me saying we dont separate tickets and abruptly moves on to the next table.Once we flagged her down again, I explained to her that I dont have time to wait with the group and thats why I ordered mine to-go. She repeated that they dont separate orders. I asked her if she can just cancel the order and then ring me up by myself. She said the system wont let her separate orders. I told her well then just cancel my order because I have to go. She took the food from me and left.Its frustrating, because she knew my order was to go while everyone else was dining in. Additionally, she lied to me. If she was able to cancel an order, there was nothing preventing her from ringing up my order separately after canceling it. It wasnt a system issue it was a customer service issue.My unit has a number of going aways often and as a foodie I am always telling people places to get good food at various prices. I will be sure to tell people about the poor customer service at this establishment and Ensure we never have to deal with it again.

I had the most frustrating depressing experience at my favorite most awesome cheese steak shop today . I have been so very sick the last five days losing up to 5 pounds today I got back my appetite for one thing cheesesteak from my favorite shop not physically up to driving, through a lot further than I would like to drive in this condition But after a long morning on the phone with AT&T U-verse treating me like a technician I needed my comfort food so I pre-order the food, go to pick it up, it was packed up perfect for travel so I did not want to disturb it. I got home got comfortable went to heat up my sandwich and it was missing my favorite part the peppers call the store of course no manager around told them the situation after they spent forever trying to find my receipt that I had right in front of me with all the info I said I will come back and some more meat cooked fresh with the peppers the bread was fine .On my way back to the shop on my one and only rest day half shot I decided I would I would like to keep to meet that I have as compensation for my stress time and gas I explain this to the girl and she said no I had to give her back The meet I already have knowing they were only going to throw it away she absolutely refused . After she insisted there was absolutely no one else I could speak to on this matter I ask for my receipt back she claims I never gave it to her . I told her I either want everything or my receipt back . She said no I can only take the old meet or the new one I was so upset as I left the store with nothing she finally produced a receipt . So upset I had to go back and get my money back . Needless to say now Im home sad hungry twice as stressed way weaker ( part of my weight loss was blood loss ) and really missing my favorite cheesesteak if only I could come up with something else to eat . I miss them already . People should not always assume someone is there just to try to get over on them . Some of us just like being treated fairly and with respect .Aawww but if wishes were kisses !Sincerely, SAD TIRED AND HUNGERY ?P.S. Every other time they were just fine

The food was good, but only 3 stars because of the service. They were very slow and it wasnt even a busy night when we went, cant even imagine what its like when it is busy. We all ordered a soft drink and water each, server failed to bring us our water. We had to ask someone else for it. When our chips were gone, we waited a long time until we saw a server at a nearby table and asked for more chips. We were out of salsa too, but when the girl brought the chips she didnt bother to see or ask if we needed more salsa, I had to go by the kitchen to ask for more. I wouldve asked her for the salsa too, but she was rushing. Ordered chicken nuggets and fries for my son, had to go by the kitchen again and grab the ketchup myself as well as hotsauce, no one bothered to ask if we needed condiments. Our server checked on us ONCE, but by the time she did, I had already gotten everything we needed so we told her we were fine. At the end of the meal she brought us someone elses receipt, which was already paid for, we had to tell her we havent paid yet and that she had the wrong table. I could understand the mix up and the not checking in on us if it was a busy night, but again, it WAS NOT BUSY! Plus I seen a total of 5 servers that night. I also had to ask her for a refill on my drink because she didnt bother to ask if anyone needed one, and so she brought me my refill and the correct check, but wish I wouldve had my refill sooner, not right before I was about to leave. The service sucked, but my food was good.
