Service was lackluster and food was terrible. Let me explain.Got there and ordered a paneer tikka burrito for myself and the wifey ordered a thali. Place looked moderately packed with people so we thought it must be decent. Boy were we wrong. My burrito was brought out first. When I bit into it, the taste i got was wasn't of paneer and rice which are the main toppings, it was of chickpeas. And not good chickpeas, they tasted extremely over seasoned with cardamom. To the point that it made it bitter. Took the food back and thought they had made a mistake and given me a chickpea burrito. Nope, the paneer tikka burrito came with chickpeas in it and it was listed at the bottom of the ingredient list. There was a lot more chickpeas than paneer.I returned my food and asked to have something else made. And they charged me full price for it. Even that dish (kati roll) was so/so. I give it a 6/10. The dressing on the salad was a complete disappointment as well. The only good thing about my meal was the Indian soft drink I got. When they brought my wife's death by tikka masala thali out, she noticed it was missing the naan they promised came with it. She had to ask for it. They also never brought utensils. One bite of the paneer and it had the same horrible problem of being over spiced with cardamom and clove. It tasted way off. We are Indian and understand the importance of spices, the taste profile of everything was way off. She said the chicken tikka was ok, the sauce was different than the paneer tikka.'Chana was horrible. It was also super expensive and the bathrooms were not clean.I was totally shocked of my experience given the decent reviews on google. I would enoucrage everyone who has had a bad experience speak out about this overpriced farce that they tried to call Indian food. Please do yourself a favor and try a real Indian restaurant.
MIXT

I hesitated in posting this negative review because I feel bad. These are strange times and restaurants are having to adapt to a new way of serving their customers, and the employees at Mixt are very kind people, but are clearly being overextended by the onslaught of online ordering and it is contributing to the quality of food preparation. I placed my order online and selected a pick up time of 6:40pm. I arrived on time and waited in line to make my way to the counter. As I got closer to the counter, I could see the stacks and stacks of orders waiting to be prepared. Feeling extra bad for the employees, who were clearly trying to do their best, I waited around for over 15 minutes for my “create your own” salad to be prepared. Normally, when picking up a to-go order, I will double check that everything is there before leaving the restaurant, but not wanting to be “that person” when the staff were already stressed to the max, I simply smiled and took my salad and made my way home. Very big mistake... Half of my salad was missing. And as a vegetarian who relies heavily on the protein from legumes, grains, and dairy- the missing chickpeas, quinoa, avocado, and egg were a big disappointment. So basically, I paid $16 for a box of kale, cucumbers, dried cranberries, and dressing (which, by the way, was good). It’s just not okay...

We have been customers for more than 8 years. One of us have some special needs and they would accomodate. Last year we were dining in. We had some leftover. They have always packed the leftover for us. We asked Josh the server to pack it for us right after he packed it for another customer. He just gave the boxes to pack. I asked him why the difference, is it because of the way we look ? He started arguing. Another server took our food and packed for us. We thought of not going there again even after giving them so much business over the years. Still we decided to give them another chance. Over the pendamic we have always ordered every week from there and picked up. Today we ordered over the phone and we went to pick it up. They knew our order but there was a woman who would not give the sauces which they always used to provide. We were not asking for extra, we just wanted red chilli powder instead of red hot sauce. The woman became rude and started arguing. Nick, the guy who always took our order said sorry he cannot do anything. We are done with the Staff at the restaurant. This attitude of theirs is way beyond unproffessional ! They are not Loyal to their customer even if customer have been loyal to them. Sad.Then and Now.We went back after a long time as their food is excellent to give them another chance and we were content the way they have been taking care of the service. As earlier, we repeatedly go there almost every week. The food is excellent. The service is good. Their lunch special weekdays are the best value for the money. This is the only place where they use more than 7 different kind of vegetables in their Veggie Cashewnut curry.
Thai Dishes (Valencia)

Ive literally never reviewed a place before but well yeah. I used to love this place, and have recommended it to a lot of people who liked it as well until recently. I hadn't ordered in awhile but today my husband and I ordered takeout/delivery, and to my dismay I realized why so many of our friends have stopped ordering here. They have literally cut their portions in half, including not putting entire ingredients in their recipes that normally are there. I understand inflation, but for their already expensive prices when you receive less than half the portion that you are normally served but charged $20+ for that dish. Beyond ridiculous, and the flavor was all but missing. On top of all of this, 2/4 of the items we ordered were missing entirely. Extremely disappointed, the best thai place in scv is going down the drain. I was even thinking of ordering a different thai place but I literally said, this is thai valencia what could go wrong. Wish I wouldn't have ordered here and wont be again. Sad sad sad, thank you for turning me into a Karen thai valencia.
Taco Bell
23146 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
This Taco Bell location consistently turns off all of the outside lights for the restaurant by 11 pm during the week. The sign on the street is turned off, the menu light is turned off and the name of the restaurant is turned off. The first time I went through the drive-thru, before 11:30 pm, I noticed that all of the lights were off and I had trouble reading the menu because it was so dark (there were no backlights on the menu) so I mentioned it to the cashier when I paid for my order and I was scoffed at by the cashier. It was an unpleasant experience but I decided to give them another try and again, the next time I went before 11:30 pm, all lights, signs and any indication they were open were turned off. It seems like its more important to the night staff to intentionally drive customers away than to generate revenue and business for Taco Bell. Very disappointing management in the night staff.
Nekter Juice Bar
24371 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
I am never usually one to even write reviews and the only reason I am writing this is because I love going to this Nekter location on my lunches, the employees are always friendly and the bowls are usually amazing, and just hope I dont keep having the same problems. The last two times before today that I have gone, I have ordered my favorite Acai Peanut Butter Bowl, but have been a little bummed because both times half of my bowls have been a huge solid chunk of ice. Like I said, I usually never have this problem, but the last two times I was disappointed to find this when I opened my bowl to eat.Today, I got there at 12:35, usually PLENTY of time to get a bowl before I go back to work. I was the only person in line and the other customer was a lady who was already paying, so I didnt worry at all. However, I believe there were some issues with her card and I didnt end up get helped until 12:50, which is a significantly long wait considering I was the only one in line. No one acknowledged what the wait was or that their was a problem (if I would have known there would be such a delay, I would have left to get lunch elsewhere for the day). I was finally acknowledge and no apology for the wait, I asked how long it would be for a bowl and by that time, I was out of time.Like I said, I really dont want this to be so much a complaint, just more of a little feedback because I do love coming here!

Just ordered the Seco Catering package for our work conference and everybody (including our visitors) LOVED IT! We order catering from different restaurants almost every week and I must say LACO TACO might be one of our favorites. Super client friendly when I was ordering on the phone and during the delivery. They are hospitable and easy to talk to when making requests, But the best part (other than the yummy food) is it was so reasonably priced for so much food! Actually thinking of having them cater my personal events aside from our work conferences. :)

I tried several things, so I'll break it down by item and give individual ratings. The 4/5 stars is overall but the true rating is 3.7/5.Pizza slice: (2.5/5) nothing exceptional about it. Weird paring of what looked like pickles and cheese. Bold but not my taste.Iced Mexican Mocha: (1/5) this just comes down to personal taste. I could tell I would like their regular coffee but they put cayenne or some other chili powder in this. Another bold choice that just didn't work for me. Too much pepper overrode any other taste in the drink.Peanut butter cookie (4/5): not overly thick or peanut buttery. You can still tell you're eating a cookie and the salt adds a nice balance to the sweet and richness.Chocolate chip cookie: (4.5/5) damn good cookie. Great crunchy texture on the outside, chewy on the inside. The salt again adds nice balance to the sweet and richness of the chocolate. If it was fresh out of the oven I could see it being a 5/5.Will come back again to try a different pizza slice (only one option per day) and a different coffee.
Taishoken San Francisco

We had the vegetarian ramen with miso peanut broth. We have tried vegetarian/vegan ramen at several restaurants and this is one of the few that gets it right. The broth hits the spot, the rest if the ingredients go really well with the broth, would definitely recommend.
Italia Panetteria & Deli
27674 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
I had originally give this place 4 stars, however I went there today and was not pleased at all. The customer service is horrible, quite frankly non-existent unless you have a call in/online order. I walked in to get a dozen hard rolls, quick and easy so I thought. There were two gentlemen already there, I asked both of them if they had been helped and they said yes they had been. I looked at the number being served and saw it was 22 on the screen and the next ticket was 30, so I though no need to grab a ticket. I then waited for 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, by this time 3 other people had walked in and the first one of them had taken a number. So I grabbed a number just incase, thinking it wasnt needed because everyone working there saw me or walked by me at least twice. A young man behind the counter then walked up and said who was next and I said I was, well the guy that grabbed the ticket in front of me blurted out, I have number 30. The young man said does any one have a number lower that 30. I proceeded to tell him I had been waiting the longest and it was my turn. The young man then turned to the other gentleman and proceeded to help him. I thought to myself what a joke, wait for 20 minutes for a dozen rolls then some guy walks right in front of me and the people working there did absolutely nothing. If you like expensive Subway sandwiches, non-existent customer service, and have a half hour to burn then this is the place for you. I know I will never go back.
