Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
962 Gray Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
UPDATE 08/2023The older East Indian woman at the front who looks to be the owner of this establishment has always been cold towards her customers but the pizza WAS so good and we use coupons so we kept ordering every once in a while.Well, this last time she was completely rude AND the pizza no longer tastes like it used to. The dough and cheese taste cheap now and she really skimped on the toppings too.We ordered this for someone whos never had Papa Murphys because we loved Papa Murphys but it was embarrassing how poor the quality was. He was not impressed at all and you can imagine how upset we were with the owner who not only made bad pizzas but was SO RUDE for no reason. Were always so polite and thankful but she acts like all her customers are a nuisance or something. She really shouldnt be in the customer service business and whatevers changed with the pizzas needs to go back to the old recipes and techniques.Doubt well go back since not only is the customer service bad, but now the pizza itself sucks.Yuba City Papa Murphys, get it together please.11/2022The customer service at this location is TRASH. The past few months, every time we go in to pick up an order everyone working here is so serious and rude! They act annoyed youre even there, they act like youre going to steal their tip jar, and make you feel dumb when their card reader is acting up. Also, its too expensive for us having to bake it ourselves. The only reason we ordered was because we had a 25% off discount. I gave 1 star simply because the pizza is undeniably good, seriously delicious. But they seriously need to learn how to smile and be polite to their customers. If it werent for the customers, theyd be closed! Also, the prices should be lower.
Taco Bell
1483 Bridge St, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
One of the worst services I ever seen in a restaurant. I used to be a regular customer but now I am definitely not coming back here again. I placed my order today and once I got my order almost all of it was wrong. We called them and after 10 minutes of waiting, an employee shows up and we tell them what is wrong with our order and they made us wait for at least another 20 minutes before the manager (who is quite a rude person) comes and after that we asked for the replacement and after another 20 minutes of waiting we finally gave up and asked for a refund and guess what? we had to wait another 20 minutes just for them to give our refund back and even after I got my refund back, their was no apology from the manger. I know that fast food places can be some tough places to work at due to its fast pace environment but at the same time we as a consumer are paying for it and I can understand one or two things being missed but if you are going to screw up our entire order than it will be a problem. Personally I think if you want a value for your money or just need to eat a good meal, dont even bother to go here instead go to some other food places that actually cares about the customer. PS: I WISH THEIR WAS A OPTION FOR ZERO STARS.
Taco Bell
619 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Never ordering from Taco Bell on Colusa Avenue in Yuba City, CA again! This is the second time they got our order wrong and we were missing a bunch of items! Last time was a pick-up order, they forgot 6 crunchy tacos. This time was a delivery order where they forgot 2 white hot ranch fries orders, 2 cinnamon twists orders, 1 chips and cheese order. They said they dont do refunds on App orders because they cant. They said come back and mention the managers name to get your missing items free. Yeah, so we can take the chance of them doing something gross or bad to our food out of spite? I dont think so! Also, last time we werent told when our PAID FOR pickup order was ready, when we went to pick up they said it wasnt completely paid for and they tried to charge the remaining amount owed to our other card even though we had already paid for it online. We dont recommend this location AT ALL, but if you do decide to give them a chance PLEASE do not order from any apps and check your order upon receiving then decide what you personally want to do if they messed up.
Pizza Guys
1000 Lincoln Rd F, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
I ordered on line at 2 PM for two pizzas to be picked up at 6 PM. I arrived at 5:55 and the pizzas had not even been made yet. So, I had to wait while the made and cooked them. Why bother ordering in advance if you still have to wait while they are being prepared? At 2:30 they called to tell me my pizzas were ready and asking when I was picking them up. He then said, Oh, shes here now. At this point I asked what he was talking about as my order was to be picked up at 6 PM. He said, Oh. wrong number.First time I have done business with this Pizza Guys as I normally use the Marysville franchise. It is kind of out of the way and not easy to see from the road. I had to use Waze to find it. First and last visit for me even though the pizzas were fine.My son uses the Marysville store frequently. When he calls they inform him of specials and deals. The Yuba City store didnt offer any information. Havent frequented this place since I reviewed it 3 weeks ago nor do I intend to.

PUNJAB TANDOORI GRILL

***UPDATE****Ok, still totally AMAZING! Went back last night as our first meal in town while visiting my parents, and wow, this food is ridiculously good. I even got a few photos this time! Not of everything because, well, we couldn't help ourselves ;) Go here now!Pro Tip: if you are planning to dine in, arrive before 7pm. While they close at 8, they seat the last table at 7!EAT HERE NOW!Coming into town for the weekend, we knew we had to grab some Indian food. After reading a number of reviews and checking out photos, we landed on Punjab Tandoori Grill, and what a great choice we made!My boyfriend Abe called ahead and were told the kitchen would close in 30mins so we rushed out the door to grab a table. We walked in to an empty (thanks pandemic) but clean restaurant. The bubbling fountain at the entry was inviting and the sports game playing drew my boyfriend in to a table close up. A nice guy was helping someone with a pick up order but greeted us and invited us to take any table we wanted. We later learned his name was Vic. He was generous and friendly. Grabbing menus, we settled in while we waited the rest of our family to arrive. I have traveled extensively to northern India, and knew exactly what I was craving for dinner! The family meal was a great price and offered some of the dishes I was already planning to order. Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Samosas, & Naan. These are all a yes! After Vic recommended a few dishes, we added on the Goat Vindaloo and the added on the Dal. A few King Fishers were also ordered, then we sat back to watch the game, wait for our family and our food.Right away Vic brought out the Samosas, complete with tamarind and mint chutney. These 4 big beautiful samosas were steamy hot, and packed full of the traditional potatoes, peas and carrots. The spice mix was pure perfection, the BEST I have ever had. While we were distracted with mouths full of flavor, the tandoori chicken and butter chicken arrived. The Tandoori chicken was perfectly spiced, sitting top sautéed red bell peppers and onions, with a bit of lemon for brightness, great flavor that was not Overpowering. Crispy and tender, this melted in your mouth. The Butter Chicken dish was perfectly flavored and reminded me of my travels. No twist, traditional and filled with love. Chicken was delicate and moist. The chef brought us a taster of a dish he had recommended but that we didnt end up ordering, Malai Chicken. This chicken dish is top on our list for next time because it was so good! Our goat vindaloo was succulent, rich and packed with flavor, again just as it would come out of a momma's kitchen.Just as we finished our 4th basket of naan, the chef brought out a small plate of Fish Pakora for us to try! What a nice gesture! The fish was again perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly as you would want it, soft, flaky and warm. Our kids could not get enough of these dishes, and asked if we would come back tomorrow! We ended up talking more with Vic and his father came out of the kitchen as well to share with us as well. They are literally the nicest people who shared their family recipes with us tonight. We were so full and so happy that we picked Punjab Tandoori Grill for our family meal tonight! If you are looking for a fantastic dinner served with love by great people, this is THE PLACE!*no photos of share because we ate this amazing food way too fast to get a picture in!
Baanthai cuisine
520 Bogue Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
This is one of the hardest reviews Ive ever had to give. Let me start off by saying that the staff were very friendly! The restaurant was neat, clean and well kept! The food was delicious!! Heres the hard part, I could not give more than 2 stars because the price I paid for the tiny amount of food that I got was outrageous! $12 for 6 spoonfuls of food and it didnt even come with rice, I had to pay additional for that ? At $12 I would be so much more forgiving if the food was just ok but the portion was bigger. Baanthai cuisine would get a full 5 star rating from me if the portion to price ratio were so much more reasonable!!
TACO TWIST
706 W Onstott Frontage Rd A, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Taco Twist in Yuba City, CA, is an absolute delight. Having explored the local Indian cuisine scene extensively, the concept of Indian-inspired tacos intrigued us, and Taco Twist did not disappoint. From the moment we entered, we were struck by the restaurants cleanliness and the unique table bases resembling giant pots, adding to the overall charm of the place. The menu offers a wide array of choices for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I opted for the paneer tikka naan tacos with masala sauce, while my girlfriend went for the chicken naan tacos. The gentleman behind the counter was not only welcoming but also incredibly helpful in suggesting sauces and toppings that truly elevated our taco experience. The result? Our tacos were bursting with flavor and freshness. What truly stood out was the speed of service. The tacos were quickly finished, and the staff continued to be exceptionally kind throughout our visit. With such delicious food and outstanding service, were definitely planning to return to Taco Twist. Thank you for providing us with a memorable experience!
Sylvios Pizzeria & Deli
1747 Live Oak Blvd, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Great pizza and even better service! Was hosting a large gathering in town and was looking to find a place that I could order ahead. After some bad vibes calling some local competitors I gave Sylvios a call and their customer service was great! (Note if youre ordering more than 10 pizzas you may need to call in instead of doing it all on their website). The manager Steve hooked me up for my 12 XL pizza order and even gave me an unprompted discount. The pizza was amazing, they put the sauce all the way to the edge and fold the edges up so it almost seems like stuffed crust pizza (without being the obnoxious kind some places make that ooze out the sides). The sourdough crust was amazing!! The Home Run special is my personal favorite if you like meat but we had some vegetarian eaters in our group that loved the Healthy Harvest and even the cheese pizza. Super awesome place, please give them a try over the chain pizza places in the area. I havent been to the physical location but the service from there and delivery were fantastic. My new favorite pizza place in Yuba City!
Huckleberrys Breakfast & Lunch
724 W Onstott Frontage Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
I was having a terrible day and went here with my partner. He thought going out for a meal and some entertainment after would be helpful. This was our second trip to this establishment since I arrived and the first was great so I assumed this one would be as as well.We were seated and our waitress was what looked like a manager so I figured it wouldnt be too bad or frustrating. I had been crying a lot that day and when she arrived she asked my partner what we were having. He said we didnt know and she walked away. She didnt say anything to me (a strong theme that would continue up until we actually left.). When she came back she took our orders. Chatted with him. Walked away. She would come to the table to ask - how is the food? And other such pleasantries however she made direct eye contact with my partner and when I spoke or started to join in I was bulldozed and she would walk away. It would repeat several times. I was extremely frustrated and just shocked. Now I felt even worse than before and asked him to leave after I had maybe three bites of my breakfast. She came to the table and she asked him if he needed a box. His plate was clean. I had leftovers. I told her I would need a box. She agreed that I needed a box and went to get it. Im not sure why she felt the need to agree or converse with my partner only - it was just simply the rudest service Ive had since arriving here. I had already had a horrible day at work. It was just rude. And I wouldnt say it was her outright flirting but it was offensive and she blatantly did not speak to me or allow me to speak. It felt AWFUL. I also took a while to leave a review because I didnt want to leave it while I was upset and offended at her behavior.I will never be returning to this establishment.
Mongolian BBQ
440 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
This was my first time going to this place, if you carryout you have to pay first, I got 3 bowls $34. You can only take one bowl per visit to the grill, keep this in mind when ordering to go. The meat is frozen so if you want anything else only put a few pieces of meat (which is probably their way of cutting cost). There were people in front and behind me using there hands to push the food down in the bowls provided, which was gross since these people had not washed their hands. There was a fly fighting people for the noodles and vegetables, so then I am swatting away flies, they used so much water until there is no taste to the food, I should not have to add anything to this food. The sad thing is all the 5 star reviews they get which pretty much tell them they do not need to improve anything from people who obviously do not know what this food should taste like. Just because people are nice does not mean you should not be honest. My advice if you go here is to go Vegan, eat all vegetables. They also add a scoop of white rice and an egg roll, which I did not want and was thrown out. This lady who looked pregnant ask me if she can go in front of me because she was only getting vegetables, well sorry for her they cooked it on the same grill as the meat, so unfortunately for her she ate meat. If you are a real vegetarian don't go here.
