Blooming Vietnamese Cuisine

If I can rate this place any lower then one-star, I honestly would. Dont bother dining at this establishment if you cannot speak little to decent Vietnamese. Otherwise, THEY WILL GET YOUR ORDER WRONG.I never write reviews on restaurants really, but today I just had to make an exception.I was seated at a table, ordered my food (requested to be starting off with some water, not too hard of a request right? Wrong, I had to ask twice from 2 separate servers working the same area). Please do keep in mind that its not busy whatsoever. I was offered to sit wherever I pleased, so I observe the surrounding and of course choose to sit in an area where there was little-to-no foot traffic, thinking itd be easy for the server to work with me (being that my Vietnamese isnt the strongest), BIG mistake. So Im seated, I order my food and manage to finally get someone to bring me water. The water was bottled. I believe thats to be prevent possibilities of covid. I finish about 2 bottles, given 3 throughout the course of my meal.On the dining-end, the food was decent. Nothing to complain about, just your standard run-of-the-mill Vietnamese cuisine. One flaw to note, they initially gave me the wrong food. They gave me someone elses order from the other side of the dining area. Youd figure that theyd divide the service in sections, but no. Seemed to be very unorganized. But again, I cant knock them on the food, just their overall service. One last thing to note is when it came time to pay my tab, I was given the WRONG check. I was very close to paying for someone elses meal (which was ofc alot more then my check that was to be payed), thank goodness I had the sense to check the darn thing.Oh, also about those water bottles. I was basically given 3 (the 3rd one not even being opened), I recall asking for a 2nd after finishing the first one and while halfway through the 2nd, the 3rd one was left on my table. A kind gesture I assumed, until I noticed it on my tab. $4 almost $5 for the 3 water bottles. Well, darn.Lastly, before even paying my tab, I request for 2 items to take to-go for family back at home. Just a small side of eggrolls which are good, I must admit. Kind of hard to mess up egg rolls and an entree of fried rice. This is where I now drew the line to write up this lengthy review.I specifically requested for no shrimp whatsoever, all the other meat options were fine. Just no seafood. My niece has very bad allergic reactions to seafood, especially shrimp. I made my request and even double-checked with my server and to no ones surprise. I get home, open the tray and theres fried rice with nothing but shrimp. Very disappointed.Again, food was decent, your basic run-of-the-mill Vietnamese comfort food. It was overall just the service that was disappointing. Wrong food given, wrong check given, additional charges to total with the kind gesture of being given and charged with the extra water. It is what it is, I guess. But I digress, what just pushed me to even write this lengthy review in the first place is the fact that the to-go order I requested was the complete opposite of what I wanted to get. I requested no shrimp, my niece cannot have seafood whatsoever, I even double-checked and made it clear to my server to the best of my ability to do so verbally, to then get the exact opposite of what was requested. Very disappointing.First time and last time Im ever eating at this place. Never again.

EXCELLENT FOOD. OVER 20 YEARS AGO, THE OWNER USED TO HAVE THE OLD SAIGON LOCATED IN THE SAN PABLO SHOPPING CENTER BY THE OLD LUCKYS. OLD SAIGON WAS THE VERY FIRST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN THE SAN PABLO/RICHMOND AREA.

As my first experience, I give this place a 5 star. The portion was great, food was very delicious, and presentation was an A+. I love how spacious it is inside and such a relaxing environment. This is my go to for a great Vietnamese restaurant!!!
All About Pho - Cerritos
11265 183rd St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
Immediately coming in the restaurant felt like being transported to Vietnam! The decor, the ambiance just felt very accommodating and authentic. Also this is the perfect place to take your kids for lunch or dinner! Why? First of all Pho is always good healthy option, but NO MSG, is so much healthier! We ordered the following here! Honestly no regrets!1. Brisket pho and 2 Bones Pho -No MSG, yet so flavorful my perfect. They use premium quality wagyu from Masami Farm and Infused Vietnamese and Japanese techniques to create the perfect broth!2. Fish sauce Fries- my goodness this was the kid’s favorite! Loved how the thinly cut fries were the perfect crunch, not sure how the fish sauce was infused perfectly to the fries but thankful for this innovation!3. Garlic Wings- deep fried and drenched in garlic Parmesan, goes well with the 3 sauces offered. Our favorite would have to be the spicy mayo concoction!4 Drinks- Matcha coconut, herbal iced tea and the lemonade from the secret menu! All go well with the food! Personal fave would be the Matcha coconut! I hope we get to keep that in the menu ?!Also All About Pho is located next to the Habit and Luna Grill in Plaza 183. Super accessible and lots of parking close by! You can find parking across the restaurant or walk a little and park by Chuck E Cheese’s!Another cool thing I should mention is they have a cute robot the brings in the veggies and such. And my kids were entertained!
Vinh Loi Tofu - 100 Vegan Food - Cerritos
11818 South St #101, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States
First time here and we absolutely LOVED it. The atmosphere and food were amazing. The owner was more than hospitable; he made my family and I feel like weve been going there for years. We started off with the fried dumplings and their Sexy Buns. Fried dumplings were crispy but not oily or too fatty. They were tasty. The sexy buns were new to me so I didnt know what to expect but loved them. It was like Korean taco meat on a hot dog bun. The fresh onion and cilantro just made it taste that much better. These are a must! For our entrees, my nephew had the #5 ramen soup. The vegan ham and ramen were phenomenal. If youve had fried spam, it was similar to it but better. My sister had the orange chicken fried rice and although it was just fried rice, you couldnt even notice you werent eating real orange chicken. Crispy and tender with a orange zesty flavor. My niece and I had the #1 Kevin soup and that lemongrass broth was like nothing Ive ever had before. I added their shrimp to mine and it just added another layer of flavor. I finished it ALL! Best vegan soup Ive had. However, the #2 curry soup that my other niece had was my favorite. The depth of flavors was just unbelievable. That will be my next soup. For dessert, we had the Ube pudding and carrot cake. The pudding was a first for me and I loved it. If you like sweets like me, then youll love it. The carrot cake was supposed to be a treat for tomorrow but barely made it home. It was mouthwatering, sweet, and moist. Ill for sure come back again for the food, but I have to say that the authentic, welcoming environment is what sold me. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

Quite disappointed in this change of hands. Restaurant was absolutely freezing, service was weak. We were charged for absolutely everything-any extra anything-no complimentary jasmine tea likes in most asian restaurants, atmosphere overall was cold and unfriendly. Food was ok but descriptions did not match the dish. I have a feeling the owners are not Vietnamese. Will be going elsewhere for my Vietnamese food. Sad that it changed owners.

Holy soup! I don’t write review but this is worth mentioning. I ordered the Pho Oxtail, crunchy pork bao & Vietnamese ice coffee with cream. Wow! The Oxtail portion is very generous and it was high-quality meat. Menu says they braise it in broth for 5 hours. Ask for the secret homemade spicy sauce. It goes well with the Oxtail for dipping. They don’t advertise this on the menu.As for the ambiance, the restaurant is bright & spacious with lots of seating. I really enjoyed my meal and highly recommend the Pho Oxtail. ??
