Viet Huong Restaurant

Best Vietnamese restaurant everEdit: I used to like it but this restaurant is not good anymore.Today When I got here to eat. The table was messy and it took the guy forever to clean it and took him forever again to bring me the menu. And the worst is the female waitress very rude disrespectful and unattended. I waved to her TWICE to order but both times she just ignored me and went straight to a table of six or another guest. In what universe is this acceptable as a customer ?And also she seemed to always have an attitude wherever she goes. The service in general is also very slow very unprofessional.

My brother comes here all the time. I think its the only one he goes to for soup. To me, typical Vietnamese restaurant. Meets standard. Dont have to ask for sissors or extra bowls to serve kids. You can never have too much expectations for excellent service in any Asian restaurant. Good food and correct order is all u need.
Ph Filet

My sister was in the mood for some pho, but wanted to try a new restaurant besides our go-to. I ended up asking my friend for some recommendations and she highly recommended Pho Filet. And after trying this place out for ourselves, wow - we were blown away and I can definitely see why it came with high recommendations. With the current situation, a lot of places have been raising prices and cutting down on costs, which I can totally understand. But the prices of Pho Filet have not changed, and it seems like the quantity and quality have not either. We were stuffed from all of the food and even had extra noodles, meat, and soup for a meal the following day - and this was with just a regular sized order!I recommend calling in your order ahead of time - they prepare all the food super quick, in under 15 minutes. The workers dont speak English too well, but they can speak Cantonese and Vietnamese. Even though there was a language barrier and some confusion over the phone, our order was correct and packaged by the time we arrived.I ordered #15, pho that comes with everything including meatballs. The small size is $8.95 and was more than enough for me. There was a large amount of noodles and so much meat! And the meat was super good quality - I felt like after digging into the bowl of noodles, I still kept unraveling more and more noodles and meat. I especially enjoyed the tendon and the meatball. We also ordered #16 ($7.95 for small) and #17 ($7.95 for small); not sure if the amount of meat differed because some bowls had fewer items, but we all thought the quality and quantity were much better than a lot of the other pho restaurants that weve had.And got an order of #71, grilled beef with vermicelli ($8.50). Came with a huge amount of vermicelli, pickled veggies, fresh veggies, and a good amount of grilled beef. There was a very fragrant and pleasantly grilled smell coming from this dish that made my mouth water. My mom enjoyed it and said she would not hesitate to order this again. The pho dishes came with huge amounts of beef soup that we were able to save (and use for our at-home pho dishes the next day). The flavor wasnt oily, had a deep and rich flavor and did not leave us feeling thirsty after drinking it.Honestly, I feel like this is my new go-to place for pho from now on. They accept card and prices are super affordable for the amount of food (and quality) that you get! Theres another location in San Gabriel, but it seems like more people prefer the El Monte location.
BMC Pho
11016 Lower Azusa Rd, El Monte, CA 91731, United States
BMC Pho is a Vietnamese pho restaurant located in a midsize plaza on Lower Azusa Road and Santa Anita Ave. Interior atmosphere was clean, well lit, odorless, neat and organized. I came here and ordered their large Mix Fruit green tea with boba and egg rolls. The green tea boba was mediocre and disappointing because the quality of mix fruits (strawberry, peaches etc.) used were mushy in texture and appeared old. Similarly their boba was mediocre and small. I had an upset stomach after drinking it. Egg rolls were crunchy, warm and flavorful, however.Staff was nice and competent. Prices were very inexpensive and affordable.Overall I wouldn’t recommend getting your milk teas at this place. Perhaps their food is okay but I would look somewhere else.

Nice selection of soups and rice dishes. Everything is very fresh. Great flavor in their soup. Nice and clear, very meaty flavor. Service is similar to other Vietnamese restaurants. My new go to Vietnamese restaurant.
Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant
9813 Garvey Ave, El Monte, CA 91733, United States
This place is good. Different from other Vietnamese restaurants with the food from central Vietnam rather than the typical pho places you go to. The food is delicious. When I visit California I try to stop by here if I can.

The lady said ok, Ill change it for you . Then she asked if I ate it already ? I said I took a bite thats I know it taste awful ..she then said I cant change it for you because you ate it . I paid $14 for this meal..I left mad never will I return bad service ..Im not sure if they were going to resell it if I hadnt ate.

Wanted to eat something quick with for lunch the other day, and saw a few reviews from Yelp friends about Pho Huynh, so I decided to drop by. Theres a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and street parking if there arent any spaces. Lots of tables, but since they serve the bowls of pho so quickly, people pretty much come and go.My friend ordered the filet mignon (#1) and I ordered #2. He added extra beef balls, which were served on the side a few minutes after our pho came out. Everything came out fairly quickly.I thought the broth was pretty tasty, but Im not a pho fanatic so as long as there is flavor, Im good. I thought that all the pho specials came with the flat noodles (which is why I picked this place), but mine came with the regular vermicelli, while my friends had the flat noodle! That was disappointing.#2 had lots of meat and LOTS of noodles. Meat wise, I had tripe, flank, even some beef balls in my soup. The meat was tasty and added to the flavor of the broth. I was really full after eating my bowl. #1 seemed to contain more noodles than meat, and my friend also mentioned that the broth wasnt as tasty as Pho Pasteur. I think our taste palates differ by a lot haha. They serve the typical beansprouts, chili, mint and lime on the side. I also got an iced coffee for my dad, which he said he liked. Flavor was good, and the cup wasnt overflowing with ice like some other places do to their iced coffee!Overall, I thought it was decent. Would have liked to have tried the flat noodle for my bowl though. Very quick meal and pay at the counter. They accept credit cards as well and this place opens really early!
