Pho 72 Restaurant Vietnamese Noodle and Grill
738 S Waterman Ave a15, San Bernardino, CA 92408, United States
Located in a run down looking stripmall this small family owned Vietnamese restaurant really makes some scrumptious cuisine. Most of the flavors are spot on and the broth in the Phó is actually authentic if not slightly on the salty side. Portion sizing is also refreshingly pleasing unlike many other recent places who seem to be scaling back on everything. There is nothing to compliment on their decor because obviously that isnt their focus here. Heck, there is even a few fire ans safety code violations seen from the dining area. If you are looking for great value and good authentic taste in Vietnamese cuisine in this truck stop of a town, you need not search further.
Ph H Vietnamese Restaurant

The absolutely best Vietnamese restaurant in the Inland Empire. Always packed, and with good reason. The noodle soups are first rate. You cant do better than this if you want Vietnamese food. Only drawback: They dont sell beer or wine.

I fly to CA every month for work. This time I met with my in-laws and they took us to this restaurant where they work. The vibe of the place is so cozy. The MOST majestic bathroom Ive ever been inside a restaurant, its so clean and had this oriental look. The food is so tasty and so good that we ordered too much lol. Lastly, the staff are so friendly and we also had the chance to meet the owner, she is so nice and always smiling. Definitely one of the best vietnamese restaurants in the San Bernardino area.

Pho Ngon

Foods are subpar. I order pork& egg rolls vermicelli which is bland. I also ordered spring rolls for take out. The sauce was cut-cornered so much it was just water-downed hoisin sauces, no peanuts! The veggies are mostly iceberg lettuce with no herbs detectable, which is not what Vietnamese food is about. They would t even serve water, but asked for $1 for a bottle of water instead. As soon as the waitress dropped the menu, 10 seconds later, she asked what I wanted. Then came back 20 seconds later to ask when I hadn't even flipped a page of the menu. So I couldn't ordered. Then she disappeared for over 10 minutes. I guess if you don't know good. Vietnamese foods, it's better than, say, McD's. But this is the worst Vietnamese foods I'd ever had. The chef looks asian, I don't k ow if she's Vietnamese or not because she just dropped food on my table without saying anything. I'd want to support minority business owner but I don't want to mislead people to think this is a good Vietnamese foods.

This has quickly became our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They have great food and prices. I had never tried Tau Hu Ky (fried shrimp wrapped in bean kurd skin) before but its amazing. Everyone at our table loved it. However, you will taste it for the rest if the day of you burp lol The restaurant is always clean and the staff works hard and fast. They are always running around making sure each table is serves in a timely manner.

Nice little Vietnamese restaurant serving authentic dishes. Lots to choose from the menu. I like the chicken noodle soup (pho ga) and the roasted spring chicken.
Baguette Express
1689 Kendall Dr Unit #D, San Bernardino, CA 92407, United States
Living in LA, next to Tai Town. I eat lots of food. Especially Vietnamese and Tai. The fresh bread, marinated pork, and chicken nuggets are worth the drive. Baguette Express is better than any place I have been to in Los Angeles.Reading some of the lower reviews, the complaints have more to do with consumer inflation and the cost of ingredients rather than quality. As well reflecting the amount of prep this particular restaurant has to put in. Other negative reviews are quantity complaints. Most people have never had real Vietnamese or Tai food. Saying this at 216lbs, myself. Dont expect the same portions us Americans are used to eating.Flat out, give it a try!
Pho Noon

I get the feeling that there may have been a transition in ownership, as it seems despite the seemingly high rating, the reviews coming in within the last year or so are all pretty disconcerting. My wife and I decided to try this spot for lunch and upon entering realized the trash on the floor and uncleaned tables shouldve been our first clue to just leave. Additionally, the fact that at the peak of the lunch hour (12:15p) there were only 2 others in this large shop shouldve clued us in. Alas, HOPING that maybe the food would make up for the experience, we decided to stay and order. The limited menu had quite a few of the prices changed, but I decided to order the Shaken Beef and my wife ordered an off menu Vegetarian Vermacelli (which came with a chicken eggroll...).While paying for our food, I was surprised at the total cost of the meal. It was at least $5-7 more than the listed prices on the menu. Only after receiving the digital receipt (after we had left) did I realize they charged us more than what was listed on the menu.We then had a seat at a sticky table and waited. Our food arrived, and smelled decent, although it was concerning how small the portions were, and how poorly prepared it seemed the food was.My Shaken Beef arrived with a scoop of white rice and lightly steamed broccoli. No seasonings for either. The beef itself looked tasty, but upon lifting it up, it was evident that it was completely charred and burned, and much of it was sticking to the cast-iron dish it had arrived on.My wifes Vermicelli was bland and far too small for the nearly $14 we were charged for basic vegetables, noodles and half-cooked tofu.Unfortunately the inedible beef dish was the last straw and we left, having spent far too much money and leaving hungry. There seemed to only be 2 people in the shop, and neither were in the dining area after delivering our food, and we werent going to wait around to ask for a refund.Im hopeful others experience is better than ours, but based on the reviews, Im realizing its a real problem.
Hiep Thanh Sandwiches & Boba
822 N Waterman Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92410, United States
Don't be dismayed by this seemingly run down facade… the food here is far by the best! They have canteen style no frills take away only. Bobas are good especially the Taro and priced at 3.5USD. The Banh -mi are tasty too! They make their own bread. One day, there's a shrimp in the menu and for one order ofit - almost 11 dollars, I got humongous 14 pieces of shrimp with ginger strips and capsicum. That's the most affordable shrimp I had. They also sell typical Vietnamese bites like broken rice, spring rolls, and sweet sesame balls. Menus do change though. I came back last Friday and my shrimpies were not there. Definitely a must go to !
