First of all, I never do reviews. But this time it felt necessary. This place is horrible, from the service to the food. I got there and I waited for more than five minutes to be greeted then instead of helping me when I was the first person, they helped the girls that walked behind me. Then I clearly told them I was there first and she just ignored it. Then we waited for more than 20 minutes, and the only reason they sat us is because I went up to ask how much longer, when they tell me that they were about to seat the next people because I was waiting outside which I asked if it was okay and they had say yes. So outside the fact that they had me waiting all that time, they were gonna skip me. Then instead of walking us to the table as in every sit down place, they just pointed at the table and told me to sit. We finally place our order, two plates and an appetizer. Well they brought out one plate first, after about 10 min they brought the appetizers. We kept on waiting for the second plate and nothing was coming so I asked about it and it turned out they had forgotten about it. By this time I was done eating my plate and we didn't want the second plate anymore. So we canceled the order. Outside of that they never brought us water so I had to ask for it too. Then we spilled a sauce on the table and one of the servers sees it, instead of coming and cleaning it for us, she just brings more napkins so we clean it. To top it off, the food was not even good, the serving size was small and the prices were more expensive than other pho places. It was overall a horrible experience, the employees were very rude which makes everything that happen 100 times worse.

Came home from the worst nail salon ever not because they didn't do my nails properly or I'm not happy with what they did to my nails but because they were unkind and mean to me .I went there at 5:56 PM and my appointment was at 6:00 PM. Yes I went there by appointment. She asked me to sit down and asked me what I wanted to get done. I had told her over the phone that I wanted to get gel nails done but to my surprise, I realized I had messed it up. When I got there, I realized that I was supposed to tell her that I want get to gel extensions and not just gel paint. She certainly wasn't happy that I had asked her to get something else done over the phone and I know I had genuinely messed it up so I asked her if she wants I can come back I'll reschedule. She asked me when would I like to come back and since I did not have a definite answer, I said that I'll call you. She paid no attention to that and then started talking to one of her other person in the salon. She asked that other lady to do my nails. The other lady asked me to switch to another table from I was sitting. She didn't look happy either and started doing my nails. I could say this because she didn't even greet me or look at me which made me even more uncomfortable . I'm surprised because this is my second visit to the same nail salon. I don't know how did I offend them or pissed them off this time but my only mistake was that I didn't tell them over the phone that I wanted extensions along with gel polish, gel extensions.I don't know if this is a common practice or not but I have never ever come across a person who has willingly asked for tip from me whether restaurants, salons, bars or elsewhere. Here I was straight away, asked for it, it's not that I wasn't gonna tip her, but they were super mean to me since the beginning. When I went to do my payment, she asked me whether I was paying through cash or card and I said card and then she asked me if I had cash to tip my nail artist and I said no I don't have cash on me so she said that's fine and I can add her tip to my total bill. I felt pressurized to tip.The whole incident is super hurtful, because they didn't even empathize with the customer thinking that this could be the first time ever getting their nails done. I understand it wasn't the case here but they could have showed me some kindness or could've asked me to reschedule which I had offered in the very beginning. I myself work in retail and I understand the type of people that you have to deal with on daily basis, but no, I have never ever behaved like this with someone or have ever been treated like this before in my life.Definitely not going back here and if there's ever a special occasion and can't find a nail salon I would choose not to have my nails done at all than go to them. Because I refuse to be treated like this.

PHO BOI Dimsum & Noodles House

I had been hankering for some pho all week. So when the weekend came I decided it was time to grab some. We didnt want to drive too far and we so Pho Time had great reviews so we decided to check it out.Its a great little hole the wall Vietnamese restaurant. The service was friendly and prompt. We were seated quickly and were promptly helped with our order. My wife and I are Rare Steak Pho eaters 100% of the time. We dont deviate too much, so thats exactly where we went to on the menu. We ordered large bowls and were excited for our experience. The bowl was huge and broth was very flavorful. One of the better pho bowls Ive had in awhile. The meal came with the standard fixings of vegetables to throw into the soup. This was some great pho, and I was not dissapointed at all. The rest of the menu looked amazing and am looking forward to coming back to try something else. I really liked that this wasnt like most Vietnamese restaurants that have a 30 page menu, it was simple and perfect. We will be back for sure.

Manna BBQ
740 Nordahl Rd, San Marcos, CA 92069, United States
Edit: So disappointed to be editing my review but I’ve had some pretty lame experiences since my original post. The food has stayed stable which is nice they changed a few things here and there but aren’t detrimental to the menu. What’s severely declined is happy servers. The women they have serving are just plain spiteful! There are one MAYBE two that are nice and actually smile at you or are kind but majority of the waitresses here are SO RUDE. We almost got up and left last time we went because how can you enjoy the food when someone is giving you a mad dog if you order food. We’re at a restaurant…. I don’t understand the problem. But trust if you order food from certain waitresses you’ll be met with scowls and rolling eyes as if you’re some kind of absolute inconvenience. Because How could you possibly want food at an all you can eat restaurant?!. If you watch carefully you can also see some painfully obvious discrimination. Like when other Vietnamese or Korean families visit they get very very special treatment. But if you’re not of those descents then get used to being ignored and blown off and given dirty looks. Also regardless of race if you’re a couple you get put on the bottom of the list. Parties take priority here. Family’s with loud children are fawned over and people who are respectful and quiet are ignored. We had a waitress completely blow us off and not come back after we placed our first order. A party of 5 showed up and she wouldn’t even LOOK at us. It was so bizarre. Luckily this opened an opportunity for the one very nice waitress to help us. We’ve been going to this place for years and it never used to be this way. Unfortunately this has continuously ruined our recent experiences and we’re going to have to write off manna as our go to place. Being treated like a burden at a restaurant you’re paying 100 dollars to have one meal is really unacceptable. They won’t be seeing my money anytime soon. Please hire happy workers manna we miss our excellent service you used to provide!Original review: This is continuously my favorite Korean bbq place. Great sides good meat selection but the only down side is when you order the premium menu they only allow you to have one steak. They limit how many portions you can request from the premium menu which to me is kind of lame being an all you can eat place. Also they don’t offer Kobe or wagu. But otherwise great sides great service fresh meat just wish they had a better premium selection.
