Guys please be careful if you decide to eat here. Its cheap and the food tastes okay but please be aware of what you are eating. The first red flag is how cheap it is. Second red flag is its inside Foods co and it looks run down. They also serve a crazy amount of food like Id say almost 2 lbs of food per person. Me and my fiancee decided to try it one day and I can honestly say I regret getting food here. Not only does it make you feel disgustingly full but expect to have a very painful stomach ache the next morning ?. This is the only food I ate last night and I was woken up to sever stomach pain. Steer clear guys, I would not recommend eating here.

Im like a food critic without the license, and I came from Alaska, so I came to this place after work, and my little brother referred me to this place, lol. Had a food craving. I have massive high-quality taste buds for food and more on the menu to try out. I randomly selected the 2 entree meal combo with orange chicken and broccoli and beef and it all tasted amazing and cooked to perfection and also 2 orders of salt and pepper shrimp that were huge pieces and very flavorful in texture and tried they egg flower soup that the owner served us both and that soup is the best Ive ever tried in a long time and my mom used to come here a lot. I also tried out this mango boba, and the drink surprised me a lot for my first time. Overall wonderful place so far since Ive been here for about several months, and the customer service in the front was very well mannered and helpful throughout our time while enjoying our meal when she shown a lot of patience and was entertaining and funny, so sorry if I forgot your name so keep up the good work from the time I was there at about the time you were almost getting close to closing time on Tuesday night, everything tasted fresh and was very fulfilling with massive portions and great price overall as well. You can park and come inside when they lobby is open or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in or take out or drive through. They also have condiments to get or ask for. I highly recommend them for when youre hungry or family dine in or if youre in a hurry. I have a few recommendations, better employee uniforms and hats to represent the place and logos because they deserve it!. Thicker wider straws for the Boba drinks to make it easier to drink out of. Overall Keep up the good work and the people in the back, and whoever else was working today, they deserves a raise and a couple of new business shirt uniforms and hats and name tags for all the employees. God Bless ??

I am so disappointed because we were so excited for this place. We have wanted to try since before it opened and finally had the opportunity tonight. We walked in and there was one group of about 7 seated, and 3 other tables of 2-3 people each. We walked in at the same time as another couple. They were sat and we were sat within a couple of minutes at the booth next to theirs. The couple that came in at the same time as us ordered and we were able to order within 5 minutes. Thats when things went downhill. The couple needed refills, as did I. The restaurant was starting to fill up. 3 waitress, 12 tables, 2 of which were big tops (7-8 guests). The other couples food came out, no refill offered. The young lady finally was able to flag down the waitress and ask her to get her boyfriend a refill because his hips was empty (and he ate all of his ice) and she had maybe an inch of cola left in her cup but the waitress only grabbed his glass leaving hers and walking by my now-empty glass, ignoring us. At this point we still hadnt received our appetizer (sesame balls) but the couple that came in at the same time as us was receiving their check and trying to cash out.I waited 15 minutes. FIFTEEN MINUTES of trying to get our servers attention, with my empty tea glass at the end of the table, other couple that arrived with us now gone, and finally we got another server to cash us out for our drinks and left.

WaBa Grill

Poor customer service. Poor food quality.First time eating at waba. And probably the last. Chose it because it is portrayed as a healthier choice and due to my medical issues, I have specific dietary requirements. I did my research beforehand, looking up the nutritional information on their website before my partner stopped to order and pick up our meal on her way home. I knew exactly what I needed off the menu in order to meet my dietary needs. I had sent her a text containing my specific order/menu items request, which she attempted to order once arriving at the location, reading, word for word, from my text. I had ordered, or requested rather, a mini sweet and spicy chicken bowl with brown rice and sauce on the side, an order of steamed veggies, and a bowl of miso soup, with a large diet soda (as a rare treat) Shouldn't have been that difficult, one would't think. Apparently the counter person had difficulty in understanding and wanted to sell the “combo” awfully bad, insisting that what we were ordering was what was in the combo. My partner tried asking for assistance in ordering or deciphering the menu since we had never ordered there before, and even said as much, but the counter person displayed little to no knowledge of the menu and ordering options, and offered no assistance, aside from “do you want the combo?” My partner finally relented, rather than insisting that the order be placed as requested a la carte, since the communication barrier was too great and the counter person was so insistent. Once my partner arrived home, the sauce was not on the side as requested and was just about too spicy to eat (I typically relish spicy foods!)… but definitely too spicy to enjoy. The miso soup received was apparently the loaded version which has considerably more calories and carbohydrates than the basic miso I had requested. Had to use additional waba sauce to try and “tone down” the spice from the sauce mistakenly put on the bowl to begin with, which adds yet more calories and carbs. I also received what appeared to be a child sized diet soda, because it is apparently “what comes with the combo.” My partner tried, to no avail, to upsize my soda while in the restaurant, but finally became so frustrated in trying to communicate with the counter person, that she was glad to get anything at all. All told, by the time I finished my meal, I should have just gotten a burger and onion rings next door. The total calories and carbs would have been about equal. Next time.
KUMA SUSHI, Bakersfield Downtown

I ordered a red bull roll from here on Saturday, 1/13 while visiting Bakersfield.. & after eating about half the roll I began to vomit repeatedly and into the late morning. I had a swollen lip & throat and continue to struggle with a raspy painful voice from the reaction. Not to mention the bright freckled rash all over my face and neck that just went away last night. Not sure what it was exactly and I do not have allergies to any foods that I know of. Hesitated to post but felt I should in case anyone else has suffered similar reactions to any of their food. I eat sushi regularly and this has never happened to me. Very scary experience & a first for me.

Theyre awesome!!! Its rare for my husband to want fast food and when he does this place is on the list. So, we went for lunch yesterday and granted the area may not be ideal for most but for those carne asada fries its well worth the experience. Customer service was average nothing spectacular but very polite, on point and the cook is quick. We were there for about 30mins max, perfect when you only have 1hr for lunch. Food came out hot, meat fully cooked, the asada fries were layered with beans, onions, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, guac and the taste is fantastic! We also had the corn dogs which was surprisingly great too. Not all oily, the batter has a subtle flavor with a nice crisp. My husband shook the cooks hand the first time he ate this plate cause it was so awesome! Go there, cause you wont regret it, especially if your looking for some good food fast.

Ordered two chicken and broccolis through Uber Eats. These are advertised to feed 2-3ppl each (laughable upon arrival). We only received one steamed rice, though advertised that each meal comes with a steamed rice. You do the math - we should've received two steamed rices.Moving on to taste and texture:1) The reviews are spot on about the chicken being chewy and low grade. I pulled SIX pieces of chicken gristle out of my mouth upon consumption (my partner counted four in theirs).2) The meal was heavily salted and smothered in garlic. There was an unidentified mucus-like texture amongst the chicken. If you've ever had old chicken develop a mucus-like texture in the back of your fridge, you know what I'm talking about. It was yellow and disgusting. I spit out my food immediately.Leaving two stars bc the broccoli looked fresh and my dog enjoyed the meal.Review Date: August 7, 2023

Sorry for the long review!I used to take my girls here when it was a Pho restaurant by a different name, I had seen the reopening, read reviews, seen photos and have not tried it for more than any reason was the prices. Well today we decided to try it for a lat Bday lunch for my youngest, they were happy to see boba drinks on the menu, they offer a children's order for $9.99 as I normally just split a soup between them even at 11 and soon to be 13 they don't finish even a small bowl of pho.So we ordered two Boba drinks, an iced coffee, combination, fried rice. I ordered the Jurassic Park pho, and the girls each had a regular child order. I normally order way too much food I like having leftovers. Not having sat down to eat here before the girls were very delighted to see a robot, bringing our drinks singing and making noises and they got their phones out and made a video and it was very cute, it brought the things that we need for Pho to eat. The soup was brought out by hand as well as the rice. Like any restaurant you get what you pay for, the broth, the soup, the ambience, the rice, everything was nothing less than spectacular. I told the girls when we ordered we would go here once and not come back well once again in my life, I have to bite my tongue because we will be back, it was very good. There's a place in Valencia I pay all of that or more for soup. It's good, this is better, the only thing missed was tripe. The first thing my girl said his daddy there's no tripe in our soup! Two little Caucasian girls upset because they don't have tripe in their Pho.Don't hesitate to go into this establishment, the days of a five dollar bowl of soup are far gone anyways, that's how much it was when I started eating it back in the 90s. This is a great little restaurant and it's ran very well, very comfortable and the ambience is wonderful .

An overall wonderful experience when you come to dine in here! You meet Kelly and Bucky- a married couple running this restaurant where Bucky is supporting his wife's dream to open up her own restaurant. When someone is living their dreams, you know they are giving it their all. So with that said, you get high quality food and service. My mother and I came here for the first time and spoke to both Kelly and Bucky. They are such warm and kind people! We were talking about how I was traveling the next day and had to drive through the Tehachapi pass that had been closed, and he was so thoughtful in giving me advice on how I can watch the weather and to drive safe. It was just so kind. When it comes to the food, they have a fusion of traditional and also creative cuisines such as Caesar Chicken Salad with tandoori grilled and Indian spiced chicken! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and it tasted like slow cooked American bbq with Indian spices. It was delicious! And the pricing is better than any other of the Indian restaurants I price checked. Same price as others, but you also get rice- salad, naan, and yogurt with your entree! I really appreciated this! Also, I'm always wishing there were more vegetables when I eat Indian food and was very happy with the included salad.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Please come and experience this for yourself!
