Mushy rice, oily, burnt taste, no flavor, missing something, not impressed. Spent over $120.00 easy for 5 poeple. Menu does not match price. Made everyone feel sick. Cant find any good asian, oriental, pacfic Island food in the high desert apple valley/victorville area of california. I miss orange county and LA county area. Is there any good restaurants here in the High Desert.
Organic Fusion Teahouse & Cafe

This place is alright. Their food is mediocre, nothing special, it is not as good compared to the Asian restaurants in L.A. I come here sometimes because they have the best thai tea boba in my opinion in the Victor Valley area. The place is clean and spacious, no wi-fi.Bathroom is clean, free water at front and you will be served by a pudgy Chinese dude (im assuming the owner), and his gang of White hipster kids.
WaBa Grill

1st time in Waba Grill and waited a long time to be helped to take my order. The female cashier was playing around on phone and singing to music. She was hanging out with the other female employee who was chopping steak. When the cashier took my order she was rude and hardly acknowledged me as a customer. The cashier was scooping rice in bowls without gloves and her long pink finger nails were in the bowls! How unsanitary! The cashier was again dancing to music as people entered the place in line. Two men came after me and the cashier was completely catering to them. With me, she acted very standoffish. As I waited for my food, I noticed that the cashier was chopping steak with no gloves on. Then the cashier packed multiple beef bowls and took them to the front counter. My number was 93, but the cashier purposely called 94 who was the guy behind me. Then she called 96, and I immediately went up to the counter and said Im 93. She didnt even look at me just stared at the counter and mumbled ok. She didnt even ask me if I wanted any sauces...I had to ask. This cashier employee on my receipt was server Cash D. Not sure if this is even her name. She clearly ignored me and was purposely being rude for no reason. I have never been treated so badly as a customer. Is there even a manager that is checking on how their employees act towards customers? Oh and evertime you call the phone number you get hanged up on. I called multiple times on the way there and you absolutely cannot get through. Whats up with that? Beyond poor customer service....treated disrespectfully. I will never go back to the Waba grill in Apple Valley off Hwy 18!
Love Soya Sushi
19179 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
This review comes after three orders. First time I ordered was via Uber Eats and got two lunch specials and a roll. It was AMAZING.Knowing the quality of the food I made another order via Postmates. I ordered a Sushi Boat and other items but entered information in the instruction/direction section because the details regarding the Boat were unclear. Received my order and they completely glossed over what I asked for in the instructions/direction section and failed to swap out spicy tuna handrolls for literally anything else. (This can be done and I found out once I went into the restaurant)Third order was my breaking point. I went to the restaurant to place my order. I again ordered a Sushi Boat and made the same requests that I did when I ordered via Postmates (no spicy tuna and no shrimp nigri). This time the requests were acknowledged but not after being laughed at for asking for no shrimp. The woman yelled she said no shrimp ha ha ha. Weird, but ok. We unboxed our order only to find the MOST DISAPPOINTING sushi I have ever seen. The sashimi was THINLY sliced and still frozen and didnt look fresh. Every single slice of sashimi was partially frozen. I would have waited longer for defrosted fish. The rainbow roll that came with the boat was lacking. It was loosely rolled and just a mess. You can pick it up with your fingers and it would still unravel. Way too much rice as well which may have contributed to how loose it was.The nigri sushi....was just sad. Again, the fish was thinly sliced and partially frozen and they laid it on top of a mound of dry rice. Why so much dang rice? The handrolls were great. My family and I didnt even finish the order it was so underwhelming. Waste of money. This place lacks consistency and based off of three different experiences I can honestly say that if youre not getting a roll or handroll you are wasting your money.
Panda Express
19201 G Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
This is the closest PE to me, so this is the location I visit most often. Ive been frequenting this location ever since they opened about 20 years ago. We used to only go through the drive thru, but the last couple months, My husband and I will come here to dine in about once a week, or so. All the workers there are incredibly nice. I would rate them 5 stars if I could. The food is kind of hit or miss. One time my husband and I dined there, and on our way out, we ordered a large container of Orange Chicken for our (teenage) kids. The orange chicken we ate at the restaurant was great, but the box we brought home to our kids was actually inedible. I tasted it, and the only way we could describe it was that it tasted like chemicals. They had just made a new batch of orange chicken, so my husband and I ate the old batch at the restaurant, and the new batch is what we took home. Another time I ordered the mushroom chicken and all of the bigger mushrooms were completely raw. So the food is fairly inconsistent. The biggest thing keeping me from rating this restaurant 5 stars is the fact that even though they close at 10pm, the close the bathrooms and half the dining room at 8pm. They also stop cooking many dishes around that time too. I understand that the manager likely does all this to save money, but from a customer perspective, it makes you wonder what else they do to cut corners and save money? My other complaint is that they have amazing sweet tea, that you can get if you order inside, however if you order from the drive thru, they wont walk over and get you the sweet tea, they will only get you whatever drinks they have behind the counter. So now I cant go in the drive thru anymore, cause that tea is too good to pass up. (Though that is inconsistent too, and sometimes its nasty. ?♀️) The restaurant is usually kept fairly clean. We usually have to wipe down our own table before eating, but thats not a huge deal. I cant comment on the bathrooms cause they always close them soon after we arrive.

Flame Broiler
18975 Bear Valley Rd Unit 301, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
We were headed down the hill trying to catch a flight to Hawaii and decided to order this to go because we were pressed for time. We ordered 3 platters and the beef was do burnt it wasnt edible. The rice was soggy. Just not up to flamebroiler standards. So I called spoke to manager and explianed that I wasnt happy with quality of food but dont have the time to return but I was willing to freeze the food and bring it to the store once I came back from vacation. Then I was told nothing could be done for me unless I returned today or tomorrow. Im on my way to AIRPORT!! Their unwillingness to work with me or even try was stupid on their part not only have you lost my business youve alsoo lost the business of my friends ..family..co-workers and anyone whove I vented to. Hope it was worth it. We WERE regulars at flame broilers!!! I was treated rudely..felt cheated and most importantly my family went hungry. Your customer service sucks and so does your food.

Most of the staff are very nice and pleasant. However, there is a cashier by the name of Elba who constantly harasses me with dirty looks and is very rude every single time I come through her line and when I am buying 21+ products (alcohol) she is very condescending, rude, and makes it almost completely uncomfortable. Now, I am a frequent enough shopper and each time she does the absolute most, snatches my ID fully from my hand, spends a good 30-40 seconds holding up the line, looking back and forth at me and the ID in the rudest way, asks me how old I am, when I answer (as always) it's followed by a rude stare. It's really the most embarrassing experience ever, EVERY SINGLE TIME. While I understand the importance of the ID process this is not a normal case of this and I have never felt as harassed as I did tonight. She questioned me about whether or not I had been drinking in front of a line of people! How absolutely embarrassing. Look, I don't know what this woman has against me or if she treats others the same but I absolutely don't understand how you can have employees that make customers feel that uncomfortably. I do the shopping for my family since the are unable and I don't appreciate being embarrassed like that. I'm 31 years old and have never been consistently treated that way by an employee. It's ridiculous.
