Masa Sushi
63 E Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
I do not know how they are at 4 stars. I mean for the kind of customer service you get, food, place, disgusting bathroom. I would give them negative stars. The server that was a tall guy is the rudest and most unprofessional I have ever seen. Terrible doesnt even describe the experience. My husband and I came on a Sunday early dinner since we were in the area and wanted sushi and this place had good reviews so we wanted to give it a try. Worst experience! food wasnt great, literally filled with Wasabi and the ice cream that was melted was something else! we got the Sushi Masa boat A which comes with miso soup and the sushi boat and dessert** what they dont say is that its just ice cream, which is fine but when you bring melted ice cream and treat us like were slaves even though were customers and paying for our food, this is not acceptable!!! so he just tosses the ice cream like that on the table and he mumbles which you dont understand a thing and leaves. that guy is on the phone the whole time. There was another customer who asked for something and this guy huffs and puffs! I cant! youre clearly lack the skills to treat customers properly! so he brough ice crem and left! so when my husband and I tried to eat it, it looked its melted. so now when want to get a server attention, but guess what, this guy is in the kitchen playing with his phone! so the chefs by the sushi bar I asked them, they called him. He mumbles again and he just brings the check! umm wth! when we tell him its metled, he says oh yea the fridge is not working! so its okay to bring customers a melted ice cream when its something we have paid for! they did have another ice cream which were the macroons and it was by the door. When we asked him about what can he replace it with, he says nothing and that we didnt pay for it but technically its part of the boat. ridiculous. screw this place for the disgusting food, disgusting bathroom, style, this guy! terrible! and avoid!
Panda Express
199 W Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
I arrived at the restaurant at 8:40pm on 7/26. There were no entrees other than 3 or 4 pieces of shrimp. I was told that they were cooking some and it would be ready shortly. After waiting for the food to be ready I ordered the only thing available, the orange chicken and last 3 shrimp. When I went to order a beverage, I was told that there was no ice. After eating some of my meal I found a hair in the chicken. I went up to the counter and told an employee (Sara) that I had found a hair in my food. She said, What?! Show me, as if she didnt believe me. I showed her the hair in the chicken and she laughed at me and said that was my hair from my beard. I told her that it was stuck in the breading and was clearly not my hair. She called the manager over (Brenda) and she offered to replace the food. I commented that there were no other entrée options and that was the reason I ordered what I ordered. She offered to have something made for me, however I did not have any more time to waste as I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work. I kindly asked for a refund which was begrudgingly given to me minus the cost of the beverage with no ice. Sara then chimed in telling me that I could have just left and nobody made me stay and wait for the chicken. She then mocked me for asking for a refund. I asked what the problem was and commented on the fact that she is working in a customer service / retail environment and all I wanted was food without hair in it or my money back. (A reasonable request) Again she laughed and told me This isnt my only job. She continued to make comments under her breath as I walked out in awe of what had just transpired. As I write this, the following morning, I am still shocked at the behavior of that employee (Sara) and I sincerely hope appropriate action is taken to prevent this type of interaction in the future.
Panda Express
2500 Las Posas Rd #f, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
New review:This place closes at 9:30 pm. I got there around 9pm. They were out of everything. I wanted to order 3 big plates for 3 individuals. I told them that they can make 2 meat dishes with chow mein and they can double on the items.Food was overcooked, almost burned. Too bad I didnt check it there. By the time I came home and started eating, the restaurant was closed. I couldnt eat more than 10% of what was ordered. I took the food back the next day. Manager and shift leader saw the food, acknowledged that it was burned and that it shouldnt have been given like that to a customer. They replaced the food. They were nice enough not to charge me anytime extra. No regard for the time loss and the fact that I couldnt eat the dinner for the time it was ordered for.Past review:This location of Panda Express was OK. Their other Camarillo location is better. There are certain entrees which they run out fast, and I dont mind waiting a bit, but this store took a long time, about 20 mins, to prepare it.
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
660 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Pick Up Stix appears to have gone through many reinventions over the years and version 2021 is just not very good.I assume the Pad Thai was missing peanuts as an error but overall the sauces just werent very good. I did get a side of teriyaki sauce as I anticipated that I may need to add an extra flavor and that was not good either. Everything seems to be vinegar based and unlike the competition PuS (unfortunate abreviation) just have inferior flavor profiles & sauces. Panda Express can have consistency issues but arguably their teriyaki sauce is good enough to cover up many sins! PuS sauces add nothing, only detract and add a flavor that is not so nice.May have been unlucky with my menu choice but nothing about it gives me any desire to go back!
Mika Sushi

Dirty! Tables are sticky. Rice and hair on seats not cleaned up after last customers left. Old and dirty menus. CLEAN YOUR FLOORS!!While the waiter was nice the ambiance was lacking due to the lacking of care in that restaurant.Clean your restaurant! Youre in business. Make new menus. Those are the original menus from when you opened years and years ago!The food was okay. Not spectacular. It kind of reminded me of road kill since the meats were so thin. The sauces reminded me of bottled stuff. Nothing original or to be remembered. The floors are so dirty. You cant help but notice the build up under the tables. Its just conveniently shoved under the tables. Dont forget the sticky tables that is just caked with years of no real cleaning.I just cant recommend or advise anyone to go there. They were good years ago. Now.... Not so much. The food is not memorable enough for me to ever go back to. Not worth the $$.
WaBa Grill
1877 E Daily Dr Suite G, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
This was my second time at this location. The first time I really enjoyed it, but consistency is not this locations strong suit. I have several gripes about this most recent visit. For starters the staff seems to have no clue whats going on. They are talking to each other from across the restaurant as Im trying to get the cashiers attention to take my order. The first time I went they had grilled the veggies in my bowl. Im not sure if thats how its supposed to come or not, but this time they werent grilled and were dry and tough to chew. When they were grilled they were great! So I had an expectation from my first experience that was let down, and Im still unsure of how the veggies are supposed to come!Back to the register again, with the cashier being distracted with her side conversation I wasnt given my drink and had to wait again to catch her attention. Not to mention the food had been sitting out for some time before she even served it. It was cold by the time I could start eating. There were also ants all over the counter which was sticky. I spent $15 on a bowl and a drink. And its $15 I wont see again

Tita Rizas Filipino Market
501w Mobil Ave, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
I came across this market unexpectedly by way of google maps searching for something else and this market was shown on the map and since I was curious I visited it last week for the first time and I was amazed at the hot food that was available. The pork sinigang was very delicious with clean non oily flavors it even had a kick of spice from the chili pepper but it wasn't spicy at all, it just added flavor to it and it had more pork meat than fat like other places serve and the meat fell off the bone! The pancit tasted so good and again not oily. The last piece of fried chicken was finger linkin' good seriously not oily and still had the crunch to it and not over breaded and season just right. I also had the pork with fermented little shrimp and the flavors were so tasty, again more pork meat than fat and no fishy smell.Whoever is cooking here KNOWS how to cook Filipino food that still gives it flavor with the perfect seasoning, a clean taste not oily and no fishy smell! THANK YOU…THANK YOUI would hire the chef/cook from here for a party or event anytime! We will return for more.May success, fortune and health be with you, your family, your business and patrons always!
Tamarind Thai Cuisine

Although portions are smaller than some Asian restaurants, the food is very fresh and flavorful. There are many dishes to choose from and Im looking forward to trying the curry next time. The waitress was very very good and attentive.
Cagami Ramen
1855 E Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Cagami ramen has been my go to local Ramen shop since i first became aware of them a few years ago. My first experience was as such: loved the small shop, the atmosphere, the food. I first began my love for this spot with their old school tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich and had such a profoundly deep flavor. Felt like a broth that was cooked for hours out of pork bones and no short cuts taken. Pure flavor and and love poured into it. Also the broth used the straighter style of ramen noodle that i prefer over the crinkly curley noodle. The straighter noodle for whatever reason simply hold the broth way better and its the perfect cehicle for getting that delicious broth from bowl to my mouth. Im a person of habit and when I find a menu item i really like I dont tend to change it. But one day i decided to try something new and saw they had a Maze Soba on the menu, back when it was still made with ground chicken. LOVED IT. So flavorful, so tasty, became my new favorite and go to item. This is The part where I explain why i gave them 3/5 stars. Not too long ago the downfall of Cagami began. About a year ago, more or less they went through a change for the worse. My go to went seemingly missing from the menu for a time. No matter I will go back to my old go to i guess. Then the Maze Soba came back but was no longer made with ground chicken but with Pork. I thought “well hey i do like pork more than chicken so it will probably be amazing”. It was good no doubt, but it was no longer the flavor bomb it once was. Big disappointment. Their Chashu also became VERY inconsistent. It used to be amazing, tender, melt in your mouth, and then it just took a 180. Sometimes great, sometimes chewy, dry (how?), fat wasnt rendered correctly. I used to frequent Cagami so much but after this change I began to go less and less opting to drive further into the LA area for Ramen.Anyway the final nail in the coffin happened upon my visit today. The Curry Ramen is no longer on the menu. The Old School Tonkatsu, I dont know if it was a bad day, bad batch, or if they changed the noodles, but the noodles were so bad. I cant even explain it. Lifeless, texture all wrong. Im writing this in hopes that Cagami will know that im not a troll, im not a hater, my 3/5 comes from feeling like Cagami has gutted themselves and are on a downslope that could end with their end and I dont want that. I really like Cagami as they used to be, but i dont know how i feel about them now.
Wood Ranch
1101 E Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
We stopped by for lunch at Wood Ranch and were very pleased. I had the BBQ Tri tip, we also had the Asian salad, the chopped salad, and a burger. Everyone was very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Service was quick and attentive. Food came out prepared correctly. I only wish that had a little more options on the temperatures for the tro tip. It is offered medium and up while I prefer mine meat medium rare at the most. All in all this is an excellent restaurant and would definitely go back.
