ROACHES!!!!!! I ordered 2 seafood Phos. When I tasted mine the flavor was very sweet. I asked if they have added sugar and the waitress said yes.I requested to speak with the owner/manager, the lady with the. very short hair. I requested to have my Pho exchanged for one without sugar, but she said she couldnt change it. I told her that Pho is Not sweet and with a very bad attitude she exchanged the Pho for a new one which it was just boiled water with no flavor and the seafood from the previous Pho was put to the new one... I know this because I had added chili oil to the previous plate and the seafood had chili oil. I was very disappointed, but very hungry so I started eating my food. The worst part was when I reached to add some lime and a HUGE ROACH came from underneath my plate. I also noticed roaches on top of the counter where the cash register is located. I am reporting this case to the Health Department. Please dont eat HERE!!!!!!!

I havent been back to this pho restaurant in over 15 years and not planning on comming back.My 1st experience was back in 2002 or 2003 when I went and order some stir fry chow fun, it was good until I saw a caterpillar in my plate. I never step foot in that restaurant until this past week. This recent experience told me that I should never of came back. There was a few of us that order pho. The order came out fast but our waiter wasnt careful and spilled some liquid on my pants. I seen him look down at it but never once like he did anything wrong. I notice he was looking back to see if I was gonna say anything but my inner self said let it go. Plus he didnt look like he knew english.

I Really Really wanted to give this place a great rating for my 1st experience with them but, they messed up my favorite Chinese dish. Singapore noodles had absolutely no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. Singapore noodles are usually so packed with curry flavors and spices that I eat them plain with no soy sauce or liquid amino. Unfortunately, not these noodles. I could have actually added table salt they were so plain. My guy got beef & broccoli ? and his complaint that it was way more broccoli than beef. I asked him how was his food because it was my idea & my treat and we drove across town specifically to try their food. His response Its ok. Not what I like to hear after spending $51 bucks on takeout food for the weekend. Potstickers were good but, there was no potsticker sauce for me. Only Chinese Musrd that I dont care for at all and some chili oil based sauce that didnt work. My Man had to pull out his sweet & sour sauce & soy sauce from the pantry for me to try & enjoy this meal. I also ordered Chinese Chicken Salad which was missing a few ingredients like toasted sesame and peanuts that add to the flavor of the dish. This salad was a huge bed of iceberg lettuce topped with sliced battered chicken cut into slices with the sweet clear dressing that you pour on yourself. Sorry Flower, not My Fave... We are used to more elevated flavors when we order Chinese so you can eat it without saucing it up and it tastes great without being doctored up.

We've been here once for our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was pretty good. We had a reservation and it still took them a while to figure seating out even though we were the first ones in the restaurant when they opened for dinner and had the reservation but the food was good and the chef was amazing. This second time around we went for Valentines Day which is a hectic holiday for the food industry, totally understandable, which is why my husband and I made reservations via google assistant. We got a confirmation email AND a confirmation call from the restaurant where the hostess double checked it the time, for 2 people and hibachi, which I confirmed. When we got to the restaurant 15 minutes early to check in, the hostess said the reservation was for SIX people for DINING, I showed her the email and told her I even got a call to confirm and she told us we would have to wait an hour and a half to be seated for hibachi at 8:30. We didn't get seated till 8:50. Our server didn't take our drink orders until almost 20 minutes after us. The chef didn't come till almost 25-27 minutes after that. And then we saw our server 4 times during dinner. Everyone at the table had to wait forever for any refills, our chef had to clear our soup and salad bowls because she took so long, and we all had to just get up and grab our own to go containers and walk out to get our check and the meal came with ice cream and she didn't even bring it. Now we were the second to last table sat and there was no more hibachi after that. The table sat after us waited 35 minutes for their server and almost an hour for their chef. They were super understaffed for an expected busy holiday. And they were so unorganized. The main hostess we were talking to was very overwhelmed when every hostess was talking to her at once and not communicating about who they were seating. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars was because the chef, Suza (Im guessing on the spelling) was incredible and hilarious and engaging. And also because I thought for the stress the main hostess was going through I felt she handled everything as best as possible.
Island Pacific Seafood Market

Appreciate but worry this is the only real Filipino grocery market in the 559/Fresno for a few years now. Love that the in-store food line is still and always open daily despite only staying takeout. Dish selection varies some days and hours tho, Im always down for the BBQ, silog, and mixed vegetable recipes. Sarap! The cleanliness of the overall store is questionable near the meat and seafood area but all aisles and produce, goods, frozen, etc selection is organized well. Dont miss the baked goods area adjacent to the restaurant, meats, and checkout lanes. Come for the pinoy-based selection that locals love to get. Ask employees about green leaf vegetable availability (ex: Saluyot, Yam, Malunggay, Chili, Komote), otherwise check AsianOne, GoldenBowl, etc. Keep in mind, this is not Seafood City like the Bay Area and SoCal. If you dont like eating here at Sarap Ng Buhay, you can drive a few miles around to Jowlis, Boba Silog, Ds Pinoy Food downtown, Angry Asian/Crackin Claw if its still around, Zenys in Lemoore, or any other smaller Asian-American based resto to support. Enjoy!
B & K Asian Kitchen

One of the oldest southeast Asian restaurant in Fresno. Their food are very good. Only complaint is portion size and price. Other than that, all their dishes are really good. Worth trying this place out.
SaBaiDee - Thai Lao Cuisine
5730 N First St, Fresno, CA 93710, United States
HelloI will not be spending my money there. Because....I been to Saibadee Thai Lao Cuisine in Fresno California about 3 to 4 times. This time on January 29, 2022 I took my wife to Saibadee because our last papaya salad in 2021 was good. However after spending 104.00$$ the papaya was plain tasting, pad thai was horrible, it was cooked in black sweet soy sauce. Who uses black sweet soy sauce unless you are making sweet noodles or sweet pork? The nam tok, beef salad, thai style had no fish sauce or roasted rice and only too much salt that it was bitter. The Khao Soy was horrible and had no fermented bean past or fish sauce and was more vegetables than noodles. My boy never turned down fried rice but this time he took two bites and stopped eating it.So take this as instructional for the Saibadee owner and chefs. Maybe it was an off day or the pro chef was out. Anyways the food authenticity needs a check. I know the trend for some restaurants is to cater to the local taste buds, which are not necessarily Thai or Asian, and change the flavor. Thank you and good luck.
Jimy Wens

Jimy Wens is the best Asian restaurant in Fresno. I have been to many Asian restaurants throughout Fresno and Clovis yet I always find my coming back to Jimy Wens. First, the restaurant is always clean and the server Kareen is the sweetiest lady. She is very friendly and Jimy makes delicious food. The service is fast and the prices are great. It feels like you are family here which is a great feeling. Thanks Jimy Wens!

We stopped here after we landed at the Fresno airport since it was super close. It wasn’t busy on a Monday afternoon. It seems to be ran by a mom and pop. Service was a bit slow but we weren’t in a rush so we didn’t mind.Pad Thai: 2/5, it was okay.Chicken wings: 4/5, would not recommend sauce it came with.Meatball pho: 4/5, it was delish!Nam Wang: 3/5, wish it was more sweet but it was good.Looks like any other asian restaurant and had plenty of options.I would definitely come back here again. It was a nice and small place to get good food!
Ph 75 Oriental Restaurant

Ive given this place too many chances than they deserve. The worst place to come eat if you want to eat. They are so unorganized. You will be standing at the door waiting for a table for a long time because the staff is all over the place and do not acknowledge you standing there and numerous tables are not getting bussed. When you do get seated and order, your food will also take a very long time to get to you, even if all you ordered is soup. Expect at LEAST 20 minutes to get your soup (this is with them at less than 50% seating capacity-so, not even busy). Also, if you are not eating alone, your food will come at odd times so expect to be staring at other people at your table eating while you wait for probably another 10 minutes for your food. They will also forget to give you things you ordered or miss putting ingredients in your food, so expect to make the effort of flagging someone down to get what you ordered, because they rarely check on you. You know theres a problem when people are constantly walking out on the place because they are waiting too long to even be acknowledged for a table or their food is taking unnecessaryily long. Ive witnessed people seated and leaving, as well as people seated and ordered then leaving too many times. This place is horrible and I will never return. There are plenty of other Asian restaurants nearby that are good and open late. I reccomend avoiding this place.
