Ordered a big plate all chowmein worker was confused said I want large box I said no box just large plate size chowmein. Then ordered teriyaki chicken small box. All went great until the lady dropped the small box on floor and it opened. She picked up sat back on counter and I said no thanks. Another worker rushed up threw the box away and started chopping up tiny scraps of teriyaki chicken to start new box but was just tiny pieces dried out so I said No thanks then was informed would take 10 minutes for new product. Already in store for 37 minutes as upon arriving no chowmein. Ill drive to Rocklin or Roseville next time. Never eating here again. Did buy the one plate of chowmein only for full price of a bigger plate with 2 entrees even though just chowmein. Good riddance
Taj Indian Palace
8320 Lincoln Blvd, Westchester, CA 90045, United States
This is my first experience with Taj India Palace. Indian food near my area is usually a hit and miss and the reviews for this particular location was also hit and miss. So, having a craving for Indian food for lunch and sun for dinner, I gave this location a try. Im glad I did. The food was delivered on time and it was still hot and fresh. I got a lunch combo plate which included chicken vindaloo, Dal, vegetable of the day, rice, and naan. I was very impressed with this particular combo. The food was fresh, flavorful and tasted homemade. There was some love going into this food. The chicken vindaloo could use a little bit more Indian flair but it was spot on and delicious. The naan was soft, chewy and just the right amount of toasted. Very impressed with this combo and it was fulfilling. Now I did venture out of my comfort zone and tried their lamb keema samosa. This was somewhat of a disappointment as it was really just dough with ground lamb meat. There was not much flavor, the dough was really thick and overall this was not something that I will be ordering again. The Raita which was a yogurt sauce was amazing. Very light, refreshing and cleanses the palate after you have such a flavorful chicken vindaloo combo. Goes great with naan bread.Lastly, the salad that came with the meal, was drenched in Italian dressing. So the salad was pretty much ruin with the saturated Italian dressing.Overall, Im giving this place a solid five stars. Great location, timely delivery, the prices were on point and the food especially the combo was delicious. As the Terminator would say, Ill be back.

If I could give 0, I would. I celebrate most holidays, birthday's and any event here as we really enjoy the show that comes along with the food. I took my disabled client who has a hard time turning her head as she has Parkinson's. We went in October had no problem sitting in the middle so she could see. We go in on Friday at 2 pm, empty place. One table is being used/not even full!!! The lady sits us on the very end and rudely says you start here. I said well we will sit in the middle, thank you. She told us we were not allowed and threatened to get her manager. I said please do, the manager comes out and also states we need to move to the end. He said if no one else comes we can sit in the middle, so we said okay if someone comes we have no problem moving to the end to accommodate. This was not good enough, he said we had to move to the end and then move back if no one comes. My client is very clearly disabled, he did not care!! We have spent $1,000's over the last two years. We planned to spend $200 or more today. We decided to leave as my client was clearly upset and the confrontation startled her. We will not be going back. It would be different if it were a busy day/time but no, EMPTY! I'm sure the boss of the manager would not be happy to hear how he accommodates DISABLED elderly guest.
Sri Thai Cuisine

Me and my husband have been ordering from Sri Thai for 6 years already at least once a month. The food was always delicious. But now it changed. I dont know where to start. We were in a process of eating it and it is so bad I had to stop, throw it away and write a review. Thats how mad I am.I never do that.Always always have been ordering almost the same thing .Beef Pad See Sew, Peanut sauce with sticky rice,Fried chicken over Fried rice.Ive always told everyone they have the best Peanut sauce. Not anymore.Looks like theyve made it in the same pan where they were making curry!it smells like curry. It is disgusting.I am trying not to throw up.And the container they give you used to be full.now its half full.2.Chicken over Fried and falling apart and tastes weird. We got extra sweet and sour sauce because they always give you a little bit of it with chicken anyways. Now they give you so little of the sauce (even the one you pay extra)like they stole it.Unfortunately now going to order from there anymore. Its extremely sad but the food is not as it used to be.If you reading this.If you fired your old cook and hired a new one it was a horrible decision. Get that person back and pay him/her more .The person who is making food in your restaurant now on the other hand should never be allowed anywhere close to food.So so so sad.It used to be an amazing restaurant

Edit-Darren is amazing and always has great customer service and is a credit to the company!! Yashua rung me up and he also had good customer service. This store is leapyears from the horrible service when covid started, Im glad they got rid of those other employees!!! I also added a star because they finally added a vegetarian option but they still cook in same wok/pans. My family love loves this place! It always smells amazing in here. I gave 4 stars because of how much my family comes here. I love how something fresh is always just coming out the wok. Its very freshly prepared. The location is always clean and the utensil section is never a mess. Ive never once had a bad reception from any of the employees. They are usually very outgoing and friendly. Now,heres where the 1star gets taken away. For a Chinese food place, where as, usually Chinese food can be safe for vegetarians, but not here. Everything is cooked with chicken stock. The vegetables are cooked in it,the rice is cooked in it, everything,so I have to suffer smelling this AMAZING smelling food and never have a taste(sad face). But definitely a place Ill bring the family to, especially on nights I dont feel like cooking. Dont forget to keep your receipt and do the survey and get an extra entree for free,it only takes a minute for some extra bomb food, for free.
WaBa Grill

How badly they treated me now at the wabagrill I waited between 15 to 20 minutes for the cashier and another boy to count the money in front of the counter and then an American would arrive and I would attend to her quickly, the owner of the place had to go see his staff. I only go bad care because I have cancer and I had not prepared meals for my children but I left without anything before I spent more than 50dlls there. But today I decided not to allow bad treatment, I am just a client, they treated me very badly for that reason I am going to change places and eliminate the wabagrill from my life thanks to how badly they serve there. I only leave the review to the people who are going to buy they never let themselves be treated badly.
Thai Talay
8411 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045, United States
I am sad to say that I have tried this place a few times and there was hit and misses with their dishes.I really enjoyed the Panang curry and Massaman curry. It was rich and flavorful. The pad thai dish is also a must try if you come here. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice and clean. (Though it can get really loud)The three times that I have been here there were more misses (cons) than pros so I wont be coming back anytime soon. Especially when theres so much options thats offered in the area. The price is on the higher side but thats just what it is in this area.Parking is extremely difficult to find unless you go during quiet hours. The service here is subpar. Once they serve your food they make an effort to not make eye contact so you cant ask them for extras like more lime, the chili tray, or refill. What disappointed me the most is the food! I grew up around south east Asian food and some things I do understand that they want to cut back on. BUT that doesnt excuse for old and stale food being served.Lunch special order- I would steer away from this combination as they use food that are days old.I got that big platter to try- It was a bit of a joke as there was nothing good about this other than the chicken dip for the chicken bbq.Chicken Larb- add way too much sugar so its a strange sweet salad with not enough herbs or lime juice.Papaya Salad- Universal Studios did a better version of this. They literally just shave the papaya and carrot, flavor it with a bit of water down fish sauce and threw some peanuts on it.BBQ- The portion for this was pathetic and of course, the chicken is OLD.Hainan Chicken- the chicken was no where near edible! It was dry and tasteless. They give you a side dip to help make the food go down easier. If youve have hainan chicken, you know its far from that. The garlic rice was tasty so if they have that, I would try that.Pad Sa Ew- Average, nothing great or bad. There was nothing extra about this dish for me to ever order again. The Spring Roll- The sauce was really good! I would take that sauce to go and make it myself. BUT the spring roll was premade and you can tell that its been sitting in the refrigerator for the day. How you might ask to be aware of this.. The wrap is hard, if this was fresh it would be soft like a sheet of noodle. If youre charging $7 for a small portion, I expect some real effort put into this.I am disappointed in this place but went to try it a couple of times because its always packed. I thought maybe it was a fluke on my end. But my 3rd visit told me nope. Thats just the Thai Talay standard.

I eat at PE alot!! I mean like 3 -4 days a week. I dont always go to the same one all the time either. So when I say that not all PEs are run the same, you can trust and believe that I know. I am a bit of a cheapskate, I use the companies promotions to have at least one free entre at each meal. Because I am always working a survey award free entre code or a free item card, I ocassionally run into a free item misfire..This has happened at just about every one Ive been to more then a couple of times. When there is a question about a free item I ask for the manager and almost all of them will say the same thing. PE reserves the right to decline your code. Or something to that effect. That is until I met Rose at the Thunder Valley PE.She is what comes to my mind when someone mentions a top rate or A manager. She knows what is important to Panda and that is customer satisfaction. Can you imagine that because of some transposition error in a code, many PE managers have thrown me away as a customer, and all of the orders that I would have made in the future?Lets say I have a legitimate way to earn a free item with each meal. And lets also say that once a month I have an issue with a code or card that would preclude me getting my free item. Many managers have said basically, tough. Even when it turns out not to be anything I did. They are condescending and dismissive. They dont care about their customer. These managers have thrown away 12 to 18 meals a month in perpetuity. I will not stand for being disrespected. This brings me back to the all star manager at the TV PE, Rose. This lady is tough but fair. Its obvious that the employees under her, look up to her for instruction and leadership. But its the manor in which she respectfully but firmly addressed my issues in a way that makes me feel appreceated as a customer. There are at least 6 other PE managers who should come and work for her, to see how its done. I am not saying she always placates me, there have been times when I didnt get what I wanted. But I have never been disrespected by her and I have always come back to her restaurant.Im not sure why, with her talent, she isnt a district manager. I recently watched as she delt with 5 simultaneous fires that would have made a less grounded managers head explode. And she did it with a smile on her face. This lady is a gem Panda. I hope you are encouraging her to stay and grow with the company. If it were not for her management style I would have quit coming to PE awhile ago. 5 stars for the all star at Thunder Valley Panda Express, Rose!
Lokal Sandwich Burger Bar

Food:Lokal‘a bacon breakfast burritos are absolute FIRE. Omg. It has just the right amount of egg, cheese, potato (not too dry), peppers, bacon, etc.. The tortilla has a littleeee crunch from the grill and doesn't get soggy. The burrito always stays intact which is rare and amazing….. and they are served all day.I also get the Albacore Tuna Melt sometimes which comes on crispy-ish sourdough and is so flavorful, fresh, and absolutely divide. *chefs kiss* Their coffee (I like the cold brew) is awesome as well (and I'm a Starbucks brat).Service: Plus, the staff are so friendly and personable, give you a mom and pop feel. The food comes out SO quickly. They also do take out but again it takes like 2 secs, you may as well order there.Atmosphere: Inside and outside have cute places to sit and eat or study, and it's rarely crowded.Price: That's not even including one of the best parts of Lokal: the REASONABLE PRICES.I come here at LEAST 3x a week and you should too.
